19/11/2025: The jazz music and the gently lit room was relaxing and cozy. Our server deserves 5 stars, but the “som” was distracted, uninterested, and didn’t want to pair our courses. He then asked us if we wanted a glass of wine, or he could bring us a bottle. So I guess he doesn’t want to work. The food was okay, but there are so many great restaurants in the area we felt we’d wasted a meal. The Italians must know: we arrived to an empty dining room at 20:00, and were there for two hours, and fifteen minutes. Only one other table was seated: three men. (so it’s not like the “som” was too busy.) Here is the worst part: I used the bathroom right before we left. How long has it been since the toilet was cleaned? (And what about the kitchen?) There was a rime of you know what in the corners. (I should have realized how filthy the place was by the crud on the windowsill -inside- where we were seated.) I almost lost my dinner. No towels to dry your hands, and you could see a huge pile of tp that had been used for this purpose instead. (where did it all come from since they were only five guests in total and the three men never got up from the table?) Skip it.

26/10/2025: Food was mediocre. Sauce was not polished, garnish was not thoughtful.Wouldnt pay for the degustation menu. Even though ingredient use was fabulous. Not sure if all the fancying up actually did any good to the main ingredients.

30/11/2025: Today I visited Monreale with my family. It was beautiful. I called a local friend and asked where I could go for a traditional meal, and he suggested Al Matteotti Bistrot. I must say that Enzo and Domenico, the owners, welcomed me right away, making me feel right at home. Reading the menu, I was spoiled for choice, so I left it to myself. They served me some truly excellent appetizers and main courses, typical of the area and truly interesting in flavor. But beyond that, there's so much more to choose from, from sandwiches to salads, etc. When I return to Monreale, it will be my regular stop. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent cuisine at a very affordable price. You'll find it just a few meters from the Piazza del Duomo.

22/11/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Spiga d’Oro in Caccamo delivered one of the best meals I’ve had in Sicily. The calamari was perfectly crisp and tender, the caponata rich and flavorful, and the mixed grilled meat platter a delicious feast. I finished with a light, dreamy tiramisu that sealed the deal. Warm service and a cozy atmosphere make this place an absolute must-try.

24/11/2025: We ate divinely! The mussel dish was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the swordfish accompanied by Pantelleria salad was simply perfect, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. But the dish that completely won us over was the squid ink pasta: creamy, rich, balanced, a true delight to remember. Friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent product quality. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

18/11/2025: I’ve been there during my holidays, what can i say? Is a wonderful place. From the service to the kitchen, we spend a nice sunday evening. The waiters can easily accomplish our request. I raccomend this place to everyone!!

18/11/2025: My first time at Baron Munchausen, as a guest for a birthday party, was exceptional. From the abundance of dishes to the service, even though the place was packed on a Saturday night, they managed to make sure we didn't miss a thing. I highly recommend it for events!! I'll definitely try the à la carte menu.

17/09/2025: Stop for a quick bite to eat (a panini, drink, and coffee for €7), very attentive service, and reasonable prices. The interior is in desperate need of paint, and the restroom is in need of a lot of maintenance and cleaning.

26/08/2025: Last night I ordered from Cuocarina and I have to say the experience was truly excellent! 🍕 The delivery service was impeccable: the guy who delivered the pizza was extremely courteous and punctual, which is greatly appreciated. The pizza was simply delicious: well-cooked, with a light and fragrant dough, richly topped, and authentic in flavor. Every bite confirmed the quality and care with which it's prepared. I will definitely continue to order from here, because in addition to the delicious pizza, you also get excellent service. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

05/12/2025: The place is nice, but you should improve your staffing. When we arrived, we put ourselves on the list for a table, and after an hour of calling out the names on the list, the very kind bald man, Gaetano, decides to seat his friends with names called repeatedly, making them sit ahead of everyone else. First of all, there's no need to point out the disrespect shown by all the people who had been waiting for a long time. When we pointed out what had happened, having seen, heard, and witnessed the conversation, instead of apologizing, he raised his voice, claiming we had misunderstood. Despite this, it wasn't over yet; he came out of the place to tell us that the negative reviews don't matter to him anyway. Hahaha, no doubt about it, but they'll definitely never see us again.

01/11/2025: A wonderful stay in the heart of Assisi – perfect for groups! We stayed at the Hotel San Pietro with a group and felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is simply unbeatable – directly opposite the Church of San Pietro, just a short walk from the Basilica of San Francesco, and in close proximity to all the major sights. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. We received a warm welcome upon check-in, and all of our group's requests were met with a smile. The quiet, family-like atmosphere was particularly pleasant – you can tell that the staff here puts their heart into their work. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered everything you need for a great start to the day – fresh pastries, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, and excellent coffee. The communal breakfast room is ideal for groups to begin the day in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything was also perfectly organized: Communication beforehand was straightforward, bus arrival was easy, and our group size was perfectly accommodated.
