02/11/2025: First courses were ok, fried food should be avoided, the fish was raw and not cleaned, after having pointed this out to them we were told that the fish was fresh and should be served and eaten as such.

24/10/2025: What a charming restaurant! The whole local community eats here. Extensive menu. Friendly staff. Delicious food. A very positive experience. You'd be hard-pressed to find such a charming atmosphere in Italy.

24/09/2025: Delicious, efficient! We only paid 18€ for pasta, 2 sandwiches, and 3 coffees. Incredible!

17/09/2025: Stop for a quick bite to eat (a panini, drink, and coffee for €7), very attentive service, and reasonable prices. The interior is in desperate need of paint, and the restroom is in need of a lot of maintenance and cleaning.

10/09/2025: Super delicious pasta and bruschetta. All very reasonably priced! We would definitely come back.

15/08/2025: A first experience in a Sicilian trattoria, and what a surprise after taking a while to choose we took the 12€ carne menu between a starter (antipasti) a pasta dish then a breaded meat with fries and coffee we left having eaten too much and only for the damned sum of 58€ with 2 beers and 2 cokes. I highly recommend this little trattoria.

28/09/2025: I returned to this restaurant after many years because I had fond memories of it and was just as enthusiastic as I was then. I didn't have a reservation, but the waiter let us choose a table because the room wasn't full. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent and high-quality, the location was pleasant, and the atmosphere was clean and bright. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful evening like the one I had, thanks also to the professionalism of the staff. I've attached photos of the dinner.

30/09/2025: I was very satisfied with my experience at Zancos. It's a place suitable for all occasions, both formal and informal. This time, we decided to celebrate a family member's birthday. The staff was helpful and friendly throughout the service. I'd particularly like to mention the sandwich with a beef burger, cheese, mushrooms, white truffle cream, and arugula. I highly recommend it! A mix of ingredients that really go together. You can also choose between fries or grilled vegetables (for an additional fee) as a side dish. The restaurant also offers cuts of meat, such as Angus, as well as a wide selection of appetizers. The Zancos fries with aged Parmigiano Reggiano cream and bacon are definitely worth a try. Thank you!

18/09/2025: I go to Palermo for work three or four times a year and stop at my sister's place, which is 100 meters from the restaurant... I have to say, I'd never been before, and it was a surprise because the food is really good! Reasonable prices, portions that are good for two... I had a heifer accompanied by rice and vegetables with sauces, everything delicious! The potatoes were also superb, perfectly seasoned with sauces and speck. Highly recommended!

29/09/2025: We ordered amatriciana and carbonara. Both dishes were terribly salty. The bacon was overcooked, leaving a lot of fat on the plate. Unfortunately, I got sick after the amatriciana and spent the evening in the bathroom. Something was clearly stale. I do not recommend this restaurant.

11/05/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo posto grazie ad alcuni video sui social. Quando siamo arrivati non c’era fila, ma tempo di ordinare e si era accumulata un po’ di gente in fila in attesa di entrare. All’interno si possono trovare tantissimi dolci, noi abbiamo preso il cannolo. Vengono farciti al momento, ricotta molto buona e si può scegliere come guarnirli (cioccolato, pistacchio, arancia candita). I cannoli sono giganti. Li abbiamo trovati buoni, ma a parere personale preferisco il guscio di pasta più spesso e più saporito. Prezzo del singolo cannolo €4. Consigliato 👍🏻
