16/11/2025: Title: Disastrous Experience - 1/5 Stars I was extremely disappointed with my recent meal at this restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the dirtiness of the chairs, which were covered in stains and food residue. The glasses were smelly and appeared not to have been washed properly. The table was set with dirty forks and knives, which immediately made me wonder about the quality of the service. The food, unfortunately, was subpar. The fish was low-quality and undercooked. The flavor was bland and the texture was mushy. The service, rather than being friendly and attentive, was slow and inattentive. The waiters seemed more interested in closing the bill than ensuring customer satisfaction. In short, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The filth, low-quality food, and poor service make this place a real disaster. We recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

05/12/2025: The food was excellent! Especially the ravioli con crema di pistachio e speck. Absolutely amazing! The service is good as well. The restaurant was closed however we called the owner told us he will come down to open the restaurant. We appreciated this a lot! A highly reccomended restaurant for a good Sicilian experience.

We ate divinely: the artichoke dishes are the centerpiece of the menu and are prepared with rare mastery, showcasing every nuance of this typical local product. ​The real surprise was the pizza: it's not often you find such a specialized restaurant that also makes such a good, light, and flavorful pizza. ​The atmosphere is made even more pleasant by the truly engaging and professional staff and the management: the owners are exquisite and friendly people, capable of making you feel like a welcome guest, not just a customer. Quality, passion, and a warm welcome. Five well-deserved stars!

01/11/2025: A wonderful stay in the heart of Assisi – perfect for groups! We stayed at the Hotel San Pietro with a group and felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is simply unbeatable – directly opposite the Church of San Pietro, just a short walk from the Basilica of San Francesco, and in close proximity to all the major sights. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. We received a warm welcome upon check-in, and all of our group's requests were met with a smile. The quiet, family-like atmosphere was particularly pleasant – you can tell that the staff here puts their heart into their work. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered everything you need for a great start to the day – fresh pastries, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, and excellent coffee. The communal breakfast room is ideal for groups to begin the day in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything was also perfectly organized: Communication beforehand was straightforward, bus arrival was easy, and our group size was perfectly accommodated. 07/03/2026: I used to go to Cantastorie often, but lately it's not the same. The price/quality ratio no longer meets our standards and palates. It's probably under new management, or a different chef, but the lobster fettuccine is very different from usual, as is the spaghetti with sea urchins. If you go there often, you'll notice the difference. The appetizer portions have also decreased. We asked for octopus salad, and it was served julienned. It was just enough for the number of people, but we didn't like the taste either. The mussels were served on a small platter for three people, and as for the rest, we were disappointed.

24/02/2026: Excellent pizzeria and chicken shop. Very friendly and helpful staff. So far, I've tried pizza, a small rotisserie, and spleen bread, and I have to say it's all delicious. I highly recommend it.

It's always a pleasure to come here because you're always greeted with a smile and given advice on the consistently delicious and plentiful dishes. 09/10/2025: Generous portions Excellent quality I immediately sensed a warm, family atmosphere, so I expected kindness, but the way they treated an elderly person struck me. Not only kind, but almost caring, kind, and affectionate, they called him "Grandpa." It was touching.

20/09/2025: I tried the calzone two years ago, and this year, when I returned to Italy, I tried it again and brought my family along. We had hot appetizers and pizzas, all excellent. The staff were welcoming and warm. A special thanks to the owner and the waitress Debora, who, among other things, also has a wonderful daughter ❤️
