02/05/2026: After the disappointment of Christmas, when we bought the traditional cassata and it was inedible. Yesterday, May 1st, we gave it another try with yet another disappointment: miniature pastries, definitely from the day before, also inedible, all soggy. Never again. Total disappointment.

29/04/2026: I've been customers for several years, and now with the new location, I have to say that not only has the quality remained excellent, but now you can also buy sweet and savory treats, and even the ice cream is truly delicious, all at great prices that you won't find in any other café. Recommended.

08/02/2026: I've never eaten worse food, nothing fresh, zero friendliness...not even the one they called mozzarella in carrozza was good, thrown away... Calzone, thrown away... Drinkable beer. I don't think so..

21/01/2026: One of Palermo's most famous markets, where you can find both souvenir shops and, above all, traditional restaurants serving excellent local food. Unfortunately, I only visited twice in the evening, so I didn't get to enjoy the street food like at other markets, but the happiness and passion for the land that permeates the alleys of the Vucciria is incredible. An experience you must try!

08/04/2026: The food is very good. I eat out all the time at good quality restaurants. This is great at a very fair price. Ignore the low reviews from the uninformed. The ingredients are top notch & the preparation beautiful. A great melange of flavours & textures. A relatively short wine list all reasonably priced. A 4.3 star average is a silliness of the Google system. Read the sensible high ranked reviews written by articulate people. Michelin know restaurants & have professional rankers. They rate it as a place to dine in Palermo. They're right!

30/03/2026: We were impressed by the excellent execution of each item. Each of them was a well balanced play on traditional dish but with a twist. It's always risky to modify recipes that are tried and tested, but here it worked out perfectly. The fermented sour vegetables added a subtle freshness to the grilled veal tongue. The pasta with caramelized onions became more complex through the addition of roasted fennel, etc. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The restaurant aims for a "fine dining" vibe but but in an overbearing way. I'd highly recommend it.

31/03/2026: One of the best burgers in Palermo, without a doubt. Here, unlike others, there's no need to overdo the sauce. On the contrary, at Zancos you can taste the real flavor of the meat.

01/03/2026: Fresh fish, welcoming place, somewhat slow service. I went for Sunday lunch with my family. The place was quite busy. The staff was friendly. The ravioli were excellent, and the first courses featured a wealth of seafood. Recommended. Average price.

10/09/2025: I went to celebrate an event on Sunday evening. The entire facility was set aside for the event. The road to the hall was unpleasant, unpaved and uphill, but there were ample parking areas, and once you parked your car, the positive side of things began. Low steps and a ramp led to the large lawn where the event was set up. I'm not sure if the lawn is easily accessible with a wheelchair, though. The lawn also has a stream that separates the areas connected by small bridges. It's nice, but quite unnecessary. It's so beautiful that this artifice is distracting. The lighting was also well-designed; even though it was evening, you could see everything outside. The food was delicious...so good that we could have eaten at least a dozen ravioli with fish ragù! The options were varied, well-prepared, and well-prepared. There was a bit of a wait for the buffets, which made the evening a bit long. The service was efficient, attentive, and helpful. 01/04/2026: The pizza is good, as are the appetizers. Keep in mind that since it's a pizzeria with a children's play area, even though it's in a separate area, it'll still be quite crowded. This is, of course, something you'll know beforehand. Prices are average. Excellent service.

05/05/2026: I discovered this place thanks to a colleague from Palermo and I had a great time, the food is varied and plentiful and the prices are affordable especially because the university is nearby and it is always a meeting place for students and professors, I recommend it for quick meals and good food

04/05/2026: Classic street food, a wide selection of toast, huge portions, perfect for breakfast. The service is efficient and speaks some English. Unfortunately, they don't serve coffee, only cold drinks.

20/09/2025: I tried the calzone two years ago, and this year, when I returned to Italy, I tried it again and brought my family along. We had hot appetizers and pizzas, all excellent. The staff were welcoming and warm. A special thanks to the owner and the waitress Debora, who, among other things, also has a wonderful daughter ❤️
