The food is very good. I eat out all the time at good quality restaurants. This is great at a very fair price. Ignore the low reviews from the uninformed. The ingredients are top notch & the preparation beautiful. A great melange of flavours & textures. A relatively short wine list all reasonably priced.
A 4.3 star average is a silliness of the Google system. Read the sensible high ranked reviews written by articulate people. Michelin know restaurants & have professional rankers. They rate it as a place to dine in Palermo. They're right!

We were impressed by the excellent execution of each item. Each of them was a well balanced play on traditional dish but with a twist. It's always risky to modify recipes that are tried and tested, but here it worked out perfectly. The fermented sour vegetables added a subtle freshness to the grilled veal tongue. The pasta with caramelized onions became more complex through the addition of roasted fennel, etc. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The restaurant aims for a "fine dining" vibe but but in an overbearing way. I'd highly recommend it.

First time here, but already a favorite. The food is incredibly interesting (the tagliatelle with onion ragù, fennel, and almond ricotta were stellar, first place). The place is intimate, pleasant, and the staff is simply perfect. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Overall, a good experience, but the price is a bit steep. Friendly staff. We didn't appreciate the lack of a wine list (which is generally quite extensive); it would be more helpful to be able to consult it and then ask the sommelier if we have any questions. The menu isn't very varied
(the same fish is featured in multiple courses, e.g., raw fish and main courses). The setting is elegant, but the atmosphere is a bit dark.

Excellent homemade bread served with delicious olive oil. Veal tongue with giardiniera vegetables was good, reminding me of the texture and taste of a dish my mother made. Tagliolini with shellfish sauce seasoned with cumin was lacklustre. Fish of the day, swordfish/ pesce spada, was well prepared with good texture and flavour but not a memorable dish. The selection of wines, all natural, is disappointing and does not do justice to the dishes. The wines proposed to pair with the food fail to do so. It’s just a random very limited selection of poorly made wines claiming to be natural but, notably, are not organic (or at least not certified as such). I would not recommend this restaurant to lovers of fine wine or anyone wishing to taste some of the excellent wines produced in Sicily. On the other hand if you enjoy dinner senza vino you may find some pleasure in the menu.

Not a memorable experience. The quality was good, but not excellent. I chose the three-course menu, but the portions were decidedly small for a tasting menu. Unfortunately, the worst was dessert: the tiramisu definitely needs reconsidering; it was not only expensive, but also not good at all. The service and ambiance were positive.

The jazz music and the gently lit room was relaxing and cozy. Our server deserves 5 stars, but the “som” was distracted, uninterested, and didn’t want to pair our courses. He then asked us if we wanted a glass of wine, or he could bring us a bottle. So I guess he doesn’t want to work.
The food was okay, but there are so many great restaurants in the area we felt we’d wasted a meal. The Italians must know: we arrived to an empty dining room at 20:00, and were there for two hours, and fifteen minutes. Only one other table was seated: three men. (so it’s not like the “som” was too busy.)
Here is the worst part: I used the bathroom right before we left. How long has it been since the toilet was cleaned? (And what about the kitchen?) There was a rime of you know what in the corners. (I should have realized how filthy the place was by the crud on the windowsill -inside- where we were seated.) I almost lost my dinner. No towels to dry your hands, and you could see a huge pile of tp that had been used for this purpose instead. (where did it all come from since they were only five guests in total and the three men never got up from the table?)
Skip it.
