24/08/2025: We were looking for a quiet place away from the chaos and found it in Montelepre, at the Candela brothers' Original Pizza. Excellent wood-fired pizzas, truly delicious burgers and kebabs, and fast and attentive service: even though we ordered different items, everything arrived together. A lovely surprise, we really enjoyed it! Everything was prepared with care and excellent ingredients.

14/06/2025: Simple and clean environment. In summer, to enjoy the cool of Montelepre, you eat on the street inside a delimited space. The pizzas are excellent, cooked in a wood oven and topped with very good ingredients. The service is not very fast but the courtesy of the girls who serve at the tables more than makes up for it. We will return... it is not a threat but a promise.

05/09/2025: It's great, fresh, sea view, impeccable service, endless starters, exceptional, the three tastings of first courses, risotto cream of courgettes and prawns with chopped pistachios, fettuccine mussels clams and pachino, penne with calamari and more, excellent flavours, the second course like swordfish au gratin a little dry and then prawns a little hard... water, wine, coke to taste, sorbet bitter polizo... all €35 and what more are you looking for 😎😀⚓⚓⚓

20/10/2025: I went to lunch with five friends. We had high expectations since it had been recommended to us, but we immediately noticed the tomato-stained tablecloth from the previous service. We asked for a change, and they did, justifying themselves by saying that our colleague had had lunch shortly before; an apology and a change with a smile would have been enough. We ordered our dishes, repeatedly specifying that we wouldn't like pepper on our dishes since two of our friends don't eat it for health reasons. The waiter assured us they wouldn't add it. The three appetizers were full of pepper. We then politely asked again to leave the pepper out and bring it on the side, but one of the two main courses was again full of pepper. They replied that's how they prepare them. We don't recommend the octopus salad because it was quite tough. The grilled catch of the day, however, was good. In the end, they didn't even give us a small discount or offer us a coffee or liqueur. The bill was €32 each, including a liter of house wine.

18/10/2025: Delicious, fresh grilled fish, albeit carelessly served. Grumpy service. And €3 for a limoncello.

24/10/2025: At Villahermosa Café Bistrot, we enjoyed a simple but impeccable breakfast: a creamy cappuccino, intense espresso, and a tender, freshly made brioche, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. The service was prompt and friendly, and the place has a modern, clean, and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for both a quick coffee and a relaxed conversation. A fine example of a contemporary Palermo café, where the quality of the coffee and the service make the difference.

22/10/2025: Lovely little Cafe open early. Croissants baked fresh (still warm). Very polite staff.

02/09/2025: Superb quality. Courtesy, professionalism, nothing is missing. The live streaming from the kitchen is a sign of transparency I appreciate. I've been there several times and it never misses a beat: a guarantee.

29/10/2025: I went there for lunch on a Sunday. We had the set menu, which was excellent value. The owner and staff were quick and very kind. We'll definitely be back.

27/11/2025: This evening I ate a Margherita pizza, a great pizza, good, good, good. The dough, the cooking, the flavor... a perfect combination🥰. I wanted and should have added a photo of the pizza, but I didn't have time. It disappeared😋😋😋😋. To be repeated

22/11/2025: Negative reviews are as welcome as positive ones. But complaining about the length of a dish or a pizza seems absurd to me. Normally, an evening at a restaurant doesn't last less than 2 hours. Otherwise, stay home, especially if you're going out with other people. It's disrespectful to other diners who want to spend a carefree evening with friends. As far as I'm concerned, Calajo's pizza is delicious, as are the lunches and dinners. Excellent value for money. Friendly, professional service. The owner can only give a negative review if they don't know him. Those who know him know what kind of person he is. Then, as I said, reviews can be positive or negative, and that's fair enough. But we only give reviews if there's genuine negativity. We don't give negative publicity to a restaurant run by serious people who do their job well and respect their customers.

08/08/2025: A typical lunch spot, nothing more. There's effort and it shows, but the food leaves a bit to be desired, with dishes complicated by the omnipresent cream. Some dishes are unavailable, and it would have been appropriate to point this out when providing the menu.

02/11/2025: We made a reservation for 9:30 PM. We arrived and were told the table had been given to someone else, but they'd see if we could get a seat anyway. We waited 20 minutes, and then they gave us a table. We ordered, but there were no glasses. We pointed this out. Shortly after, they brought the drinks, but there were still no glasses. I got up and asked the waiter to bring the glasses, and they finally arrived. They brought the appetizers, but even though we'd finished, they didn't come to collect the dirty plates and the tray. We moved on to the pizzas, and the wait was interminable. It was understandable since it was Saturday night, but in the meantime, tables arriving after us were served first. Too much confusion from the staff.

04/11/2025: I have been to this restaurant several times, a nice place and a very friendly owner, I have always eaten very well, the raw and cooked seafood is excellent but the real gem is the spaghetti with sea urchins. I highly recommend it

04/10/2025: A table with friends. Very expensive pizza for subpar service. The cover charge was equally expensive. The experience was not great, especially the final bill. We found the owner's attitude very rude when we made the electronic payment, which was higher than the amount on the receipt. When we complained about the error, the owner confirmed she wanted to keep the tip for the waiters. Our friends and I consider this entirely unprofessional! We certainly won't be returning!

21/10/2025: Terrible experience, zero organization, takeout pizzas given priority, customers seated in the dining room (tables very close to each other) left to fend for themselves. Pizzas were charged based on the toppings (a pizza costs €16.50), more expensive than gourmet pizzas. The only positive thing was the pizza dough was good.

19/10/2025: I ate very well and the kindness of the waitress Marta is indescribable, very good I recommend it to everyone!!
