Utterly charming. Came on a hiking trip, was blown away by the generosity of the hosts. It is a small 600year old farm house under the mountains. It isn’t more than that. The hospitality is “Big Hug” level. Had a great 4 course meal with wine in the evening. Local everything. Rooms were serviceable but it’s SIX HUNDRED YEARS OLD.

Unable to leave a review through Booking.com, I'm posting here because this accommodation is truly worth a visit and we wanted to share it. The owners are very welcoming. The location is simply magnificent. The meals were a real treat… It's a shame we only stayed one night…

While traveling through the beautiful villages of the Madonie Mountains, we found ourselves in Polizzi Generosa. For lunch, we found this lovely agriturismo, which already looked promising from the photos. We arrived and were kindly welcomed by the owner, Luigi. We enjoyed a bit of the view before lunch began. We started with exceptional appetizers made with truly authentic local products. From cold dishes like caponata, mushrooms, delicious cured meats, ricotta, and vegetables, we then moved on to hot appetizers such as tuma sfogliata, roasted mushrooms, battered seasonal vegetables, and fried prickly pear slices (delicious!!) that I believe can only be eaten in these parts! We then moved on to two first courses: pasta with macco di fave and a second course of fresh pasta with wild boar ragù, both delicious. We continued with scallops and pork, also exceptional. Finally, an excellent cannoli with ricotta and a good coffee!! We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone in the area!! See you soon, Luigi!

A truly affordable country hotel in the heart of a beautiful mountain hiking area. Very friendly and helpful hosts who also cook fantastic food.

The accommodation and especially the owners were the highlight of our trip to Sicily. We have rarely met such warm and kind people. The house, the surroundings, the breakfast, the dinner – we were thrilled!

I came here with my husband by chance. We were greeted very warmly and were pleasantly surprised. We had cold and hot appetizers, two first courses, a second course, fruit, and dessert. Everything was really good. They also immediately accommodated our request not to eat pork, offering excellent alternatives. Good price. We'll be back 😊

Nestled in the Madonie Mountains, it's one of those restaurants where you immediately sense that everything is authentic: from the flavors to the simple hospitality. I ate wonderfully, with authentic dishes that taste like home, prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

What can I say? I've attached photos of the dishes I managed to capture before they were devoured, but there was even more that was superb. A beautiful location to escape the hustle and bustle of city life with peace, tranquility, and super fresh, clean air. The food was all fantastic, as was the owner, who made us feel like we were at a relative's house. Amazing value for money.

A charming and well-maintained 16th-century control station. Luigi and Karin offer a warm welcome, making you feel at home. The cuisine is excellent, using local products and cooked with exceptional skill, from breakfast to dinner. There are some minor flaws in the toiletries, which are shared among guests. The price is a bit high, considering the location, while charming, is not easily accessible. Overall, however, an experience to recommend.

I've known Luigi and Karin for a few years. Although I haven't been there many times, I can say it's a true agriturismo, not like those places that serve you two "similarly local" dishes made with ingredients bought at Lidl and pass them off as genuine. If you sit at a table on this beautiful estate, you'll have the pleasure of tasting the quality on your palate. Dishes rich in history and truly local. The price is right... in fact, for the quality of what you eat, it's even lower than many others. I'll be back, I don't know when because it's far away, but I'd be delighted.
