Trattoria Arrhais has an incredible location with a spectacular view of the sea. The terrace is charming and breezy, and it’s the kind of place you want to fall in love with. But let’s be honest, it’s not really a trattoria in the traditional sense. The menu feels more like a tourist-oriented seafood spot trying to justify premium pricing.
The food was decent, no real complaints, but nothing that made us say “wow.” The mozzarella and tomato starter was fresh, but lacked seasoning. The grilled calamari and fish fillets were cooked well, though ultimately unremarkable. The pasta with clams was good but could have used more depth and a touch more generosity with the clams.
In short, it’s pleasant enough if you’re in the mood for a scenic lunch and don’t mind paying a bit extra for the view. Just temper your culinary expectations.

21/04/2025: Situado justo enfrente del Coliseo y ruinas antiguas en Roma. Recomendado por nuestro guía turístico como buena comida pero fácil de perderse ya que está en un callejón. Tanto la pizza como los platos de pasta eran excelentes.
