21/02/2026: We tried the gelato at Fruscu in Palermo and were very pleased with the quality: creamy, well-defined, and truly enjoyable flavors. You can taste the attention to the ingredients and the craftsmanship. We also had the classic brioche with gelato: the gelato was excellent, but the brioche could be improved, being a little less soft and fragrant than the Sicilian tradition. A well-kept place and friendly service. Overall, a positive experience, especially recommended for the gelato.

01/01/2026: Lunch, January 1, 2026 Godiva has an excellent reputation for its creative food and flavorful dishes. Compagnia della Vela with Catering, Godiva Restaurant, confirms the excellent lunch, expertly executed by the staff. The appetizers were excellent, with excellent presentation and flavor, and the arancina and mussels were sublime. First courses: Rice flan with a pea and shrimp sauce was excellent. Ravioli with swordfish roe and clams were excellent. Perfectly cooked. Despite the crowds. The main course was equally delicious. To end the lunch, an excellent cheesecake. Congratulations, until next time.

09/11/2025: I stopped in for a quick croissant and coffee. I must say the atmosphere was pleasant, with a cozy indoor area for a quiet chat and excellent coffee products, along with a deli. Good coffee and friendly staff. I recommend it.

06/11/2025: A historic and traditional Palermo pizzeria, open since 1982, run by Ron Garofalo, a histrionic figure in the industry, who has never changed his Neapolitan-Sicilian pizza. Spacious, sparsely furnished rooms, including outdoor seating for the summer season. One of the few pizzerias that has maintained moderate prices while maintaining good quality ingredients, including a dedicated section for celiacs. An evening of neither praise nor infamy, a table for 20, various pizzas, all traditional and simple, with buffalo mozzarella, a hot appetizer per person, water, Moretti beer, and a can of Coca-Cola. Friendly, helpful service, represented by a very sweet young woman. A few glitches ruined the whole experience. The meager supply of buffalo mozzarella, which ran out quickly, two pizzas with dough textures the guests didn't like, even though they specified it when ordering, which were obviously sent back and remade, and the most serious problem was the "fortuitous omission" of the 30% The Fork discount. Everything was resolved, with the owner's kind forethought, and a personalised bill of 15 euros.

02/01/2026: I'm really happy with all the panelle and croche I brought to Germany. We also had lunch with fried calamari, arancini, and an excellent sandwich.

11/12/2025: The panelle and croquette sandwich is phenomenal. Very close to the station, with attentive, fast, and friendly service. Definitely worth a try.

16/03/2026: The food itself was good and tasty, a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Our wine glasses were really dirty, these I would not even give to people I do not like. Therefore 7 Euro per dirty glass of wine just does not combine well.

06/03/2026: Five stars are the number of stars you give to a review, and five are the points I'm extremely happy to address in this review. 1) Location: Small and extremely warm and comfortable. The feeling is that of being in a dining room at home, where you know whatever arrives is safe and satisfying. 2) Service: Salvo. A man truly worth listening to because he truly makes you enjoy it. Excellent manners, elegance, friendliness, and preparation. Chiara... the chef as well as the hostess. As soon as you enter, you're greeted with a sincere smile... and that, for me, truly means everything. The moral... Excellence. 3) Food: Exquisite, well-balanced, and with a menu that truly deserves to be discovered dish after dish. Here, food isn't gorged, but savored. 4) Menu: Prices are more than fair and balanced for what the kitchen offers. Truly unique dishes, and the distinctive feature is their ability to adapt to the customer's needs. The dish names are very original, and some of them hold wonderful surprises (the bedda matri... unexpectedly exquisite and unique). It doesn't matter if you're a carnivore or a vegan... it's all the same! 5) Babbio: Just come in and enjoy an experience that's not just culinary but, above all, humorous. You feel truly at home, and the Babbio inside the place is palpable. Chiara manages to make you smile without trying too hard. 🤣 Salvo... sorry, but I'm biased... (I was struck by that man.) He gave me the feeling of an uncle you can always chat with. 🤣 To close the circle, I'll just say this... Go eat there... the experience you'll have is unique, your stomach will be happy and say thank you, and your brain will tell you... Oh, we have to come back!! PS: The photos of the place... well... they're beautiful, beautiful, really well-done. 😊 Thanks!

10/03/2026: An absolute must to visit if you're staying in the area and want to experience the most genuine hospitality and freshest fish cuisine. The waiter was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to give us the best possible dining experience. The Pizza's here are very generously covered with all the best toppings and the pasta's are delicious too! No wonder the whole place was full of locals enjoying a meal. It's a real bummer we only were able to eat here twice because of our short stay. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely come back! Thanks for making our stay in Aspra unforgettable!

24/02/2026: Very slow service, the dishes were skimpy, while others were served generous amounts. Pasta with sea urchins was almost more oil than sauce. Desserts were flavorless. Finally, the price was steep; it felt like we'd dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Honestly, we were disappointed and won't be back. It's a shame we didn't read the negative reviews first; they matter a lot.

12/10/2025: For a quick dinner or lunch, I'd say it's excellent. You'll find everything from classic grilled sandwiches to spleen sandwiches. There's seating outside, but a few inside. Takeout is also available. Good value for money.

30/09/2025: I often travel to Palermo and stop for lunch at this restaurant with my husband. The chef is excellent, and the ingredients are top-quality. We also find the service courteous and the attention to cleanliness meticulous. Highly recommended!

09/01/2026: A truly innovative and up-to-date restaurant, offering a wide variety of dishes, the best of which, in my opinion, are the pizzas with chicken and barbecue sauce, and the well-seasoned and delicious burgers. One of the special features of this restaurant, and therefore of its staff, is their skill in seasoning their dishes, using generous amounts of sauces or cheeses. For example, the burgers pictured here weren't dry; in fact, one bite led to another. This is complemented by excellent cooking, making them crispy and delicious. The menu is truly extensive and includes both typical Bagheria dishes, like sfincione, and other dishes that combine tradition and innovation. Congratulations, I highly recommend you continue this tradition. We're delighted to always find new surprises, and above all, your kitchen is always clean and tasty, along with the friendly and attentive service of your staff.
