07/11/2025: What a special experience we had at “Cook Ti Unci”. The experience of dining at a private residence was new to us, but from the moment we arrived, Luciano made us feel completely at ease. The food was simply outstanding—deeply traditional Sicilian, yet each dish had layers of flavor that surprised and delighted us. You could tell every ingredient was chosen with care and so fresh. The wine pairing was perfect and brought everything together beautifully. Luciano is not just a great cook, but a truly wonderful host. In English Here's a polished English review: If you find yourself in Palermo, make sure to visit this restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, with mostly local customers, giving it a much more authentic feel and making it less touristy than many other places in the city. The classic pasta dishes are outstanding. The Carbonara was excellent, and the pasta with pesto was equally delicious. And don't hesitate to try the American Burger—I know it may sound unusual for Italy, but trust me, it's absolutely worth it and surprisingly exceptional. I will definitely be coming back, especially to try the amazing sandwiches on the menu that looked incredible. Great food, excellent service, authentic atmosphere, and a true local experience. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

23/05/2026: The hotel is about a 25-30-minute walk from the center of Cefalù. Both breakfast and dinner are a 5/10. The rooms are tiny, and you can hear everything from the hallway. The mattresses are springy and uncomfortable. The refrigerator doesn't cool, there's no drinking water in the room, and the bathroom needs a complete renovation. The shower cubicle is 60x60 cm, so bathing is quite a challenge. The shower water is uncontrollable, running hot and cold alternately. The biggest draw is the train tracks right outside the fence and the trains that run every hour or two, 24 hours a day. There are no hotel towels at the pool, so relaxing here is generally quite a challenge. On the plus side, there's a supermarket opposite the hotel.

13/06/2026: A small oasis in the center of Palermo, we stopped for a seafood lunch (mussel soup and sea bass). Spectacular dishes, fresh fish, and excellent, friendly service. I highly recommend it.

11/06/2026: Cosy, nice, attentive. The food was tasty. We just had to wait a bit for the bill but that wasn't anything that could ruin the nice dinner we had. I was able to try some odd dishes and they did not disappoint. Also very nice spot. Not too busy or loud and very cosy with the lights. Some of the better pastas I've eaten in Palermo

21/05/2026: Everything was very good. I would have preferred the seafood salad to be more generous with the dressing, but everything was good. The shrimp and pistachio busiate were delicious, you could taste the shrimp. The seafood risotto was also good. The waiter and owner were very helpful. Well done.
