28/07/2025: Courtesy, professionalism and seriousness!

06/07/2025: Disaster..... we arrive two people at 8pm for an aperitif, we sit outside, I'll start by saying that there was only one other table for two and then deserted, after a quarter of an hour sitting I get up to go inside to point out that we had sat outside, they tell me that they are about to arrive to take the order. Another 10 minutes pass and when I stood up to leave the owner comes out to explain the menu for the aperitif. We decide on a platter of cold cuts, cheese, chops and sausage, two glasses of prosecco. Nothing special because the cold cuts were a bit dry and the meat already roasted and reheated before going out to the table. The nice surprise comes when I go to pay. €48 🙈🙈🙈 Let's say that €8 each are the glasses we get to 16, the other €32 were for that mystery platter? I would have paid for a dinner for two with that money.... Highly not recommended if you don't want to get your money stolen.... I don't know how to define them if not Thieves!!!!!

28/07/2025: Despite the crowded evening, the waitresses seated us in record time with top-notch sandwiches. Well done, Lillo Litro.

28/07/2025: Excellent value for money! It's become a tradition. Cleanliness, attentive service, and fresh food are just a few of the strengths of this truly unique establishment.

15/06/2025: inedible cheese, it seemed expired, disgusting focaccia and pizza, yuck.. the chips if it was supposed to be a portion there were 10 and maybe not even half were... I can disgusting and inedible... it is indescribable just no description. The focaccia seemed to have been reheated three times repeatedly.. other than Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can close directly because I'm fine it sucks.🤮🤮😖🤢

15/06/2025: Il formaggio immangiabile, come la pizza e la focaccia, l'arancino è uno schifo, le patatine di una porzione sono 10 e per quello che pago anche meno.. fa tutto schifo e tutto immangiabile... Altro che giovedì, venerdì, sabato e domenica, potete chiudere direttamente 🤮🤮

22/04/2025: Gute Lage direkt am Hauptplatz mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf die Bucht. Getränke und auch Kaffee durchaus gut. Was leider gar nicht geht ist der Service. Hier wird man vom Personal ewig nicht bedient, dann angeschnauzt und muss drei mal fragen bis endlich eine Rechnung kommt. Typische Touristenabzocke in dem Wissen, dass die meisten Gäste nie wieder kommen.

16/04/2025: Il locale è carino, e in una posizione piacevole, ma purtroppo l’esperienza dell’aperitivo non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Ho pagato 14€ per uno Spritz accompagnato da qualche oliva e patatina molle... decisamente eccessivo, anche per Taormina. Un posto del genere, con tanto potenziale, dovrebbe puntare sulla qualità e sull’accoglienza, non solo sulla location. C’è ancora da imparare.

29/07/2025: Totally burned pizza, shame on you! How can you send a pizza like that? Well, €8 for a Margherita... And the fries were raw, and not even half the sauce was removed... The pizza arrived after over an hour, on a Tuesday evening.

27/07/2025: I've been to this place several times over the years, but the service and organization remain a disaster. The only thing that convinced me was the pizza, but now even that isn't done well. One thing they do well is advertising on social media.

22/08/2025: Very nice location, sea view, but the first course could have been cooked better, especially considering the rather high prices (early August, €26 per dish) that the quality doesn't justify... I understand that we're on Filicudi, that everything costs more in August and that there are transport costs, etc., but it's a bit exaggerated. I give it 4 stars for the atmosphere and proximity to the sea.

21/08/2025: This review is for the restaurant only. Unfortunately, we won't be returning: the raw fish appetizer was awful, and the main courses were outrageously expensive. It's a shame, a historic restaurant that has been ruined.

25/03/2025: Good pizza, terrible phone service. Landline number non-existent, mobile number disconnects the call on its own. Impossible to book!!

06/06/2025: Was quiet but my sword fish was fabulous and so too my husband's minute steak. The family running it are friendly and helpful. I've read that it's off the beaten track and yes it's not on either of the 2 squares or the main road but Castelmola is a small village so it's not hard to find and is worth the little effort.

28/05/2025: The service and food was great. They were very friendly. The view from the terrace is magnificent. Our 10 month old granddaughter loved their spaghetti. My gnocchi was amazing. I finished with a taste of their local almond wine! We will be back!

01/07/2025: Only stress! Disappointing we do not recommend Unfortunately very disappointing () We arrived at the facility And our reservation was not recorded They assigned us a room Where there was a broken bed And other problems with electricity even cold water They re-let us The next day in another apartment worse than the first In the double bed There were not even slats Shower completely dirty We returned to the first Apartment During the Night the air conditioner rained on our daughter's bed with power outlets near the bed A real danger .. we requested a TOTAL refund OUR ENTIRE HOLIDAY WAS RUINED .. at the moment if they don't fix the apartments It is not an accessible facility they should close it and fix it .. because we pay and want to have the services Never again....

30/06/2025: Horrible place located in a terrible position narrow and difficult to reach. Zero free parking, nightmare sea. The rooms are acceptable as well as the service. Watch out for the stream

31/05/2025: Good food quality but abnormal timing 1 hour and a half for a pizza and 3 first courses and the starter arrived after half an hour. Note that the place has a maximum of 25 lids when ordering. Staff mortified by the situation.

27/05/2025: Everything is good but be careful about one thing if you are a regular customer you get special treatment. They serve me first even though they arrive later. The waiter with a turn of phrase takes you for a ride… morally it is not suitable for a tourist. But I repeat the food is good. The service is too poor. The owner says everything is false. If anyone wants to see the video I made of the waiter while I point out that the guy comes after me and he answers me with lies and tells me not to worry because I handle the orders. Footage that does not suggest anything even the audio is clear you can contact me in pvt willingly.

01/08/2025: Accueil et service catastrophiques. Personnel et responsable arrogants et irrespectueux, à la limite du tolérable . On nous a demandé 4x si on voulait le restaurant ou la pizzeria en sous sol . Le repas était bon , mais ce comportement gâche tout . Les tables avec vue sur la magnifique terrasse ne sont pas accessibles au commun des mortels. Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant .

30/07/2025: Visited Granduca in July 2025 on the anniversary of our wedding. Especially especially as we had our wedding meal here 22 years ago to the day. First issue was they couldn’t find our booking despite us going in a week earlier and booking our table. That was sorted and we were sat in a very nice seat overlooking the bay. Food was good, not brilliant but was okay. Service was shocking. So unfriendly, unwelcoming and downright snobby. We will not be returning.

12/08/2025: Lovely meal, great staff, a lovely place to stop for a meal in Taormina.

02/05/2025: No lo recomendaría! En primer lugar el servicio - simplemente se olvidaron de lo que pedimos, nos trajeron antipastoso típico que es como plato de bienvenida en todas partes en Taormina, y simplemente lo agregaron a nuestra factura más tarde! Olvidé que preguntamos por vino y demás. Pero lo más interesante fue que al final cuando recibimos nuestra factura nos confundimos ya que adicionalmente a “por coperta” deberíamos pagar un 10% como “por servizio”!! Y usted no encontrará esta línea en ningún otro restaurante allí. Así que, definitivamente no recomendaría este lugar! BTW. La comida en sí era demasiado gorda, aceitosa, no sabrosa.

02/05/2025: Nos sentamos a tomar una copa, vino un camarero arrogante que ni siquiera podía decir POR FAVOR. Nunca he conocido a un camarero más grosero, no podíamos esperar a tomar nuestras copas y marcharnos, horror.

26/07/2025: Good variety of products, from breakfast croissants to classic biscuits, various types of bread, and even rustic pastries and focaccia. Satisfactory quality, friendly and courteous staff. I also had the opportunity to try the Too Good to Go box, a generous quantity with a variety of products, especially for breakfast. I absolutely recommend it.
