25/05/2026: As a Palermitan, I'm obsessed with Messina's rotisserie... Big Ben is a must-try. The Pidoni are DELICIOUS, delicious, with excellent toppings. The arancini are exceptional, with a spectacular sauce. The fried food is incredibly crispy. Everything is delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try typical Messina rotisserie. The place is clean and welcoming, and everyone is very friendly. 5 out of 5

04/06/2026: Stella, obviously. One. I've never eaten here, and judging by the reviews, I'm not missing anything: a classic downtown restaurant, nothing special. What I want to focus on is something completely different. I witnessed the shameful way one of the owners treated a delivery driver for a late order, a delay that was more than justified, given that it was the day of the Madonna della Lettera and half the city was in lockdown. The owner's exact words: "They give you reviews, but they do it for me, not for you." Translation: blaming a guy who was just doing his job. Now, that's exactly the point. In a place where they smile in your face while you order and spend, it only takes a moment for their true character to emerge: that of someone who treats someone like an ogre who isn't leaving them a cent. They only smile for those who pay. I also judge a restaurant by how they treat those who don't bring them money. And here the answer came through loud and clear.

01/06/2026: We sat down for lunch on a Sunday late afternoon... it was one of the few shops that we luckily found open around the square... on our stop in the city What we tried was delicious... it had an outdoor area with a few tables and inside a much larger room that was much more beautiful as a space. Fast service and staff who spoke English

29/04/2026: Even though they don't even offer me a single pastry 😭 (just kidding 😃), it's definitely one of the best pastry shops in the entire area. The pastries are indescribably delicious (there aren't many like them). And the "classy" bar is far superior to all the others.

02/01/2026: My experience was decidedly positive. A la carte New Year's Eve dinner. Unfortunately, it was a rainy evening, which prevented us from enjoying what we had planned. They were helpful and friendly, allowing us to toast the New Year with our own bottles! And not only that... they served lentils and cotechino without asking. A suggestion for all restaurants open on New Year's Eve with an à la carte menu: charge a €20 cover charge per person rather than rightfully inflating the menu. When you add value to good food and customer service, you make a difference. Thank you for everything.

23/04/2026: Best pizza i had in my life. BEAUTIFUL. A PROPER WORK OF CULINARY ART. I had the " chefs fantasy pizza ' . A gastronomic experience of delight. So nice. Crisp base and juicy on top. Perfect pizza.

04/03/2026: My family and I had a terrible meal. The service was incredibly slow. We arrived at 1:30 PM and had lunch until almost 4 PM. Not only were we unable to enjoy the food, I didn't even find it to be of any quality.

21/04/2026: Excellent place for breakfast, aperitifs, and desserts. I highly recommend it. Located behind Viale San Martino, in the city center.

05/04/2026: A good bar where you can both eat and drink. The gelato we tasted was truly excellent, and there's a wide selection of flavors to choose from. There's also plenty of space, so finding a seat is easy. The only downside is that there's a bit of confusion regarding the register, the bill, and when it's time to pay. A little more organization is needed, especially on busier days when service can be a bit slow. Otherwise, an excellent bar, with excellent food and quality.

11/04/2026: I already knew the place; I returned for Easter with my family, and the experience under the new management was truly wonderful. We found a truly familiar and welcoming atmosphere, with extremely attentive and kind staff, always available without being intrusive. The ingredients were excellent, everything fresh and authentic. The relaxing atmosphere made lunch even more enjoyable, allowing us to enjoy the day in peace. Definitely a place to return to and one I would recommend without hesitation. A well-deserved five stars!
