10/11/2025: We had a delicious pizza for lunch on the beach! With a bottle of wine. Everything they give you on the beach is plastic. The restaurant has a wider menu and better service. But I still recommend it. The guys are amazing! They never stop, serving everyone with the best attitude. We had a wonderful time!

15/06/2025: Ogni qual volta vengo a Lipari per vacanze, questo ristorante è una tappa fissa. Personale gentilissimo e molto preparato, piatti della tradizione eoliana rivisitati con maestria e delicatezza. Il gelato al rosmarino ormai è un must che non puó mancare! Mangiare in questo giardino curatissimo è un momento che ormai non può mancare durante le mie vacanze a Lipari. Lo consiglio vivamente!

05/11/2025: We had a wonderful meal at La Zagara. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the pasta and seafood, very sicilian experience. The staff were friendly and made us feel really welcome. The place has a nice, relaxed vibes, and very close to the center. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina!

23/10/2025: This restaurant may as well be one of the best places I’ve ever had dinner. We found it online and decided to check it out spontaneously, and just wow. The garden is beautiful, with several citrus trees. Super romantic atmosphere. All the staff has specific roles, so the sommelier only does take wine orders, the waitresses only bring food and take away empty plates or refill empty glasses and there are separate people for taking food orders or bringing out the bill. Although it might feel a bit slow (reading some of the other comments), there definitely is a system in place that works well. And then the food… eating a variety of vegetarian food has been difficult in Sicily. Not at this restaurant; they have an amazing selection of high quality vegetarian food. Probably the best vegetarian food we’ve ever had. We started with a delicious burrata and tomatoes, then lemon linguini, fried artichoke and shared two desserts. We did not have any wine, just two bottles of water and I was surprised with how low the bill was for the amazing quality of food. Feels like dining in a Michelin setting, but for a super reasonable price. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience!

19/10/2025: The place is enchanting at first glance. The garden is beautifully kept, and the exposed stone gives the setting a sense of age. In short: beautiful! Except for the interior, which is a bit bare. The quality of the food is truly high. The raw fish is delicious, and the tagliolini with purple shrimp and Bronte pistachios are truly special. I highly recommend it! The value for money, for Taormina, is extremely good. The focaccia served with olive oil—a local custom, but usually only with bread—is also very good. The service is attentive. Nothing special, but definitely worthy of the place.

04/11/2025: The food was excellent, especially the pasta with shrimp; I've rarely had such a good tiramisu. The service was very friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant.

14/11/2025: It's unusual that the very first place you see around a tourist hotspot is ever a good choice. However, pleasantly this spot was a surprise. Overall prices were reasonable, and even though the portions are a bit smaller for Sicily, the quality of food was great. Hard to ask for a better sot for a meal, dessert, or coffee. Overall a great experience.

28/09/2025: A wonderful place to stay! Very safe and quiet, perfect for relaxation. The terrace offers a stunning view of Mount Etna, which is truly impressive. The host was incredibly helpful and kind – he treated us to local sweets, as well as homemade limoncello and wine, which was a wonderful gesture of hospitality. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-equipped. An additional advantage is the large, very clean swimming pool, perfect for relaxing on hot days. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay.

31/08/2025: An ideal location for a few days as a couple or family. We stayed here only one night and really enjoyed the location, away from the noise and surrounded by ample green space. Carmelo, the owner, is a truly hospitable person and knows how to welcome his guests with a simple approach, providing cozy rooms equipped with all the comforts to ensure a pleasant stay. It's also convenient for reaching the Gole dell'Alcantara park, just a few kilometers away.

Dining here feels like an experience rather than just a meal, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, and unforgettable scenery. Whether you’re visiting for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch, Le Orologio delivers perfection in taste, ambiance, and view. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in the area!

14/10/2025: My mother and I arrived here. We had planned to eat, but we decided to have a glass of wine. So we asked for the menu and ended up giving it back because we only wanted a glass of wine. A grumpy face immediately appeared. Well, we just accepted that until the bill finally arrived. €20 for two glasses of house wine. How badly can you get ripped off? I'd say if you only want a drink, go somewhere else quickly, because they'll rip you off right here.

14/09/2025: Yes, okay, a nice place with attentive staff. A good effort isn't really a good job. The pizza was okay (but not really more than that). My fish arrived when my husband had finished his pizza (which wasn't prepared in a flash, since most of the guests here seem to only eat pizza): a "local" fish (forgot the name), grilled, for a whopping €31.50 (!!!) for 450g – about 150 meters from the sea or the harbor. But it was prepared with absolutely insignificant flavor and without any refinement (spices, herb/garlic butter, etc.), not a separate plate for the bones! Along with a few thin slices of run-of-the-mill white bread, and for another €7, a small plate with a handful of thin slices of eggplant and zucchini (I'd completely skipped the tomatoes). Salt, pepper, and oil were only available upon request, and toward the end, the staff (several times!) took your plates from the table while you were still holding your cutlery and chewing, regardless of whether you might have wanted to eat the remaining bread with olive oil, for example. Friends of Italian cuisine: I can get a meal like this in the middle of Germany, in Munich, hundreds of kilometers from the nearest sea, much tastier, more lovingly prepared, and even cheaper – that's simply unheard of! Completely overpriced and overrated.

09/12/2025: We had a warm welcome and dined in an almost family-like atmosphere, enjoying everything from appetizers to dessert in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was perfectly cooked. A positive experience, highly recommended!

12/11/2025: Very good, we had breakfast there, the best cornetto we ate in Italy, very well filled, and the gentleman who served us was very friendly. The cappuccino was also 10/10.
