17/04/2025: We did a little tour with four different hotels and resorts. From luxurious resorts to simple agruturismo accommodation, everything was there. Villa Ginevra is just a few minutes from Brolo and is easy to find. Beautifully located!! We received a personal and very warm welcome and were shown around. The Swiss owner couple are very lovely and friendly!! We were the only guests on the first night, on the second and third days we had company from a small German yoga group. The entire property is very well maintained and everything coordinates perfectly. The pool is beautifully located, but unfortunately it was too cold at that time of year and couldn't be used. In summer you can definitely enjoy your time by the pool there. Problems with the refrigerator and toilet flushing were resolved immediately. We booked early directly through the hotel website with an early bird discount offered with a non-cancellable room. We really liked the super double room with the extra bed for a third person on the upper floor. Unfortunately, it was only possible to specify two people when booking online because it was advertised as a double room, although it can accommodate three people. In the addition I stated that we were bringing our six-year-old son with us. After we checked in we were informed that there would be a separate charge of €70 per night for the child! That was more than the prorated adult rate in the room. We found this price too much for our child, but unfortunately we didn't respond to our request. What a shame! That spoiled the vacation a little because we had paid a lot of money for the three nights. You pay for the view and the atmosphere here. The breakfast on the second and third days was good, as additional food was offered due to the arrival of the yoga group, which had booked half board with brunch. However, on the first day the breakfast was a bit slimmed down as we were the only guests. However, we would have expected more for this room price. The room itself was fine, but a bit damp due to the climate. It is a separate building/small stone house. You have to ventilate a lot so that the moisture doesn't collect, but our clothes were a bit damp after the third day and smelled accordingly. A few little things in the room, such as a kettle, bottle of water or at least glasses, would have been desirable. No German TV channel available, no streaming possible. (It was only interesting for our child). Table football was again a nice highlight. The beautiful location and how well everything has been renovated are absolutely stunning, but everything is geared more towards groups and weddings. The restaurant will not be opened for individual guests in the evening. The area is very large, there are many olive trees and the food is homemade. The jams and bread in the morning were delicious and reflected a bit of the vaunted agroturismo charm. Overall, however, the price-performance ratio was not right in the previous season. When we asked the receptionist to discuss our concerns directly with the owner, we were more or less refused and we were asked to pay directly upon arrival. We found that a bit bold and would have liked to have been more accommodating here. We generally travel very frequently, so we can summarize this.

20/04/2025: Ritrovo famigerato nella zona di Santa Margherita ma con una location molto molto alla buona. Ambiente " triste". Arancino terribile, mio marito ha provato la focaccia e lasciamo perdere. Non rientra nei miei canoni.

26/05/2025: We ate delicious piadine there. A great place for a quick lunch while waiting for our ship to the Aeolian Islands. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

11/04/2025: I was on an Erasmus project, and the sandwiches from this restaurant saved me more than once :) Service Very nice, they also speak Polish, which is a big plus for me, because it's Italy. I highly recommend the pizzicoso sandwich, my favorite 😀 If I could, I would give it even higher than 5 stars.

08/06/2025: My family and I had a great time at Cu Ti Lu Dissi. A real discovery! The quality of the ingredients is extraordinary: everything is very fresh, with authentic flavors that speak of the sea and the most genuine Sicily. In particular, the tuna tartare was incredible: a bright red color, almost as if the tuna had just come out of the water! Very fresh, soft and seasoned to perfection. The swordfish rolls then... a delight. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. Unfortunately (or fortunately!), everything was so good that we couldn't wait to take some photos! Plus, the view from the restaurant is spectacular and makes the experience even more special. We will definitely be back, with even more appetite!

16/06/2025: 1-1.5 hours for our food to come out after ordering. Though food was good when it did arrive. Wait times seem to be due to a lot of other restaurants in the area being closed on a Monday.

12/05/2025: Highly recommended, especially to those like me who love low and crunchy but soft pizza at the same time, the gluten-free pizza is excellent, the homemade desserts are exquisite, the interior of the place is really lovely, the staff are very kind and helpful... we will definitely be back

The dinner was nothing short of fabulous, very well-prepared appetizers and excellent first courses also in the presentation In short, I highly recommend it. 15/06/2025: Unfortunately, this review was made without even having stayed because, following a reservation made a year earlier (June 24) for a suite for two nights, 3 days before arrival they informed me - without even calling me and with a message in the Booking chat - of an overbooking and they wanted to send me to a structure that for my tastes is horrible. Absolute lack of seriousness! Shameful

08/06/2025: El entorno encantador y la comida fue decepcionado por la actitud del camarero, si su actitud hubiera sido diferente nos habría visitado de nuevo y dado al menos una calificación de 4 / 5. Parecía un poco mejor con otros clientes (así que no sé si no le gustan los ingleses o había algo más en nosotros que no le gustaba) pero a pesar de que somos amables y educados su comportamiento era principalmente como si no le importara y odiara su trabajo. Siento pena por el dueño del negocio al ver que otras críticas mencionan que es propiedad de la familia. Es un entorno encantador y tranquilo, pudimos ver a los chefs cocinando en la cocina exterior que todo parecía familiar y bien organizado y la comida era sabrosa y agradable. Su mala actitud nos dejó sintiéndonos confundidos y tristes, ya que en todas partes nos han servido personas orgullosas de mostrar comida siciliana.
