Di Cotte e Di Crude In Tremestieri etneo

04/11/2023: During out stay in Catania we visited this restaurant repeteadly and each time we were satisfied with tasty meals. Great, relaxed and friendly service received on every visit. As my friend does not eat fishes we stuck with Spaghetti carbonara and Rigatoni with meat sauce from Etna. Every time well prepared meals, even within busy evening time, brought without long waiting. The meals we could see on other tables were mouth watering. The location is perfect, in the city center just few meters from the Piazza Universita.

18/10/2023: My husband and I shared a Crudo of swordfish, tuna, salmon carpaccio and baby shrimp and the fried mixed fish platter. We asked for them at the same time but Fayzer guided us to enjoy them the best way. He insisted we order the Crudo first and the cooked second because we needed to eat the fried fish hot. The fried fish consisted of fried baby flounder, merluzzo, and cappucetto. He was right. We could savor them the way the chef intended. He also recommend the wine to pair with our food. I wanted red so he suggested Nero avola red wine. It was as delicious as the food. We also had linguini with shellfish and pasta with clams. Fayzer gave us sorbet as gifts. He is a wonderful host. We enjoyed our culinary evening. I highly recommend.
