17/06/2025: We were in this place last week, and what can I say, we were pleasantly surprised, everything was delicious, exquisite horse meat, very sweet and melted in the mouth, not to mention the desserts of unique goodness, in particular that evening we had a Strawberry Cheesecake (made by them, not industrial, and it is probably the best I have ever eaten, we will definitely be back!) Very good, keep it up

17/07/2025: I celebrated my splendid wedding at Casa Modo. It was a wonderful event for both us, the bride and groom, and for our guests, who were extremely satisfied. The food was delicious, and the presentation was equally as delicious. The location is enchanting, and the professionalism of the staff is second to none, especially the director Franco Pappalardo and the maitre d' Giovanna, who, with their knowledge, organize the entire event, assisting the client from the choice of everything. The owners, Mr. Giovanni and his sister Emanuela, are extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable in their field, and are happy to advise the bride and groom or clients on various events. Simply... everything is FANTASTIC!!!

Eravamo in 8 persone e abbiamo preso gli antipasti per tutti (Erano 5 portate ma ci hanno omaggiato anche un sesto antipasto) Successivamente abbiamo ordinato 5 primi da dividere. What we love about it is the friendly atmosphere, the authenticity of the great local food, cooked like real Sicilian grandmothers do and finally the affordability of the bill. 15/08/2025: A wonderful experience with the family! The restaurant opens onto a small alley (hence the name "vico") with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the term "teetotal," as the wine list is truly impressive. Note that, in addition to featuring labels from all over Italy, the menu also places great emphasis on wines from the Etna area and Sicily in general. I say this because I appreciate the owner-chef's desire to showcase the richness of his homeland. The menu is very well curated and the ingredients are excellent. My favorite is undoubtedly "my arancino," a sort of deconstructed arancini (I hope the chef will forgive me if that's not the right word) with stew, truly delicious! A big thank you to chef-owner Massimiliano for sharing his stories about the birth of his wonderful restaurant, the fruit of hard work and passion for his craft.

07/08/2025: Last Saturday I celebrated my son's 18th birthday in the Symphony Hall. What can I say? I still can't find the words to thank everyone, absolutely everyone!!! Let's start with Leda, a lovely person who radiates a radiant spirit, capable of reassuring you in everything! The head waiter, Carlo, is a truly capable person, attentive to his work and an excellent advisor. Not to mention the Samperi brothers, the entertainers, who were fun yet sober and courteous. Let's move on to the dishes. Everything was delicious, and I thank everyone: chef, pastry chef, and collaborators. In short, everything went exactly as I hoped, absolutely everything! Mr. Sebastiano, we will definitely see each other again, and thank you again for the wonderful, successful party.

05/08/2025: Nothing but love and local products. We are in Sicily in the 50s. Don't be fooled by the facade of the restaurant, trust the owner because he knows what he's doing. Simple, good and only the Sicily we love! I recommend 1000%. No menu but only products that he buys that same morning so the dishes are different depending on the chef's mood and seasonal products.
