13/06/2026: I recently turned 50, and one of the pleasures that has accompanied me since childhood is undoubtedly good food. I love cuisine that explores unique flavors, capable of transforming every bite into a harmony of pleasure and sensation. Over the years, I've visited many restaurants throughout Europe, often following the recommendations of the Michelin Guide, but with experience, I've learned that stars don't always fully convey the true value of a restaurant. For this reason, I feel confident in saying that Coria, now awarded one Michelin star, easily deserves three. I've been frequenting this extraordinary restaurant since 2009, first in Caltagirone and then in Catania, and each time it still manages to surprise and excite me. The location is refined, the wine cellar is top-notch, but what truly makes Coria unique is the constant innovation of its dishes and its extraordinary ability to create flavors and combinations that remain etched in the memory. Each course is the result of passion, technique, research, and creativity. In all my years of visiting, I've never ceased to be amazed by the quality and consistency of their work. Congratulations to the entire staff for their commitment, professionalism, and dedication, which continue to represent one of the finest expressions of Italian dining. For me, Coria is simply a three-star restaurant. ⭐⭐⭐

24/05/2026: The best au gratin mussels in the world! The food at Sergio's is truly delicious: top-notch quality, generous portions, and super affordable prices. The au gratin mussels are spectacular, flavorful, incredibly fresh, and prepared to perfection—it's impossible to find better! Much credit goes to Sergio, the owner, who is always kind, helpful, and attentive to his customers. You can sense the passion he puts into his restaurant and his choice of ingredients. Exceptional value: you pay the right amount and leave more than satisfied. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves good seafood and generous portions!

08/06/2026: Santa Maria La Strada, Giarre, CT. Via Ruggero I, 40. The dishes we tried were good. The place was very crowded, and service suffered a bit, but that's understandable given the large influx of customers. Overall, we had a nice evening.

07/06/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the meat is superb—delicious, tender, flavorful, and truly top-quality. I've tried almost everything, from the roulades to the veal slices, horsemeat, and sandwiches. The appetizers and homemade desserts are also delicious. The portions are generous, everything is excellent, and the prices are fair. It's always a pleasure to return, especially because of the friendly and helpful staff and owners.

16/05/2026: Opening with crackers forces you to not take it nor yourself so seriously. What follows is hours of proving the Michelin star is deserved. But the warm staff and their wine pairings should really be bumping this place up to two stars.

29/05/2026: A very nice food experience in the heart of Catania. We had lunch and everything was delicious. Local fresh dishes, clean environment and immaculate service by the family that owns and runs the trattoria. Highly recommended!

08/06/2026: It's a very beautiful, well-kept, spacious, and clean place. We had two delicious pizzas, a rustica and a bufalina... both delicious. I wanted to compliment the wait staff, because despite the chaos and there being only two of us, they managed to get the evening going without ever losing focus. Well done guys, everything was perfect.
