03/09/2024: We ended up in this charming city while headed to Palermo and decided to have dinner. Tried this restaurant on the recommendation of our host and loved it! It was the best meal thus far in Italy and the most wonderful service. Hope to return again some day!

29/08/2024: 5 stars are too few to give a fair rating to this place. You can taste many typical local dishes, you eat a lot and above all very well. Furthermore, the owner is very courteous, sociable and available for any of your requests. Very acceptable price.

03/09/2024: We went to eat at this pizzeria suggested by the backpacker We had carbonara pizzas (15€/the most expensive on the menu) and they were simply delicious! And as a bonus a beautiful view of the church

11/08/2024: Trattoria where service and customer attention are the first prerogative. Waiters attentive to every customer's need, especially in the presence of children. Try the chef's fettucce, something wonderful, excellent fresh pasta and superlative seasoning, served impeccably. The pasta alla norma was also excellent, mixed grill, nice portion and cooked right. This one in the photo is half a portion. All very good. We will be back

18/06/2024: Wow this was a really nice pit-stop! They have very nice coffee and pastries. We enjoyed the brioche with prosciutto and Mozarella. Very good price quality (€4 for an espresso, soft drink and a filled brioche).

28/05/2024: Great cafe/bar right on the main road through town with indoor and outside seating. The pastries are amazing (made fresh in-house every day)! Owners are super friendly and helpful. They also have some lunch items, buns/arancini, and such. Highly recommended!

12/08/2024: Breakfast at the bar with hood and mini cream pasticciotto (traditional) because there were various flavours. The bar is not very big but everything was appreciated... I will definitely visit again for a new taste of pasticciotto.

08/08/2024: Very welcoming bar with many different choices, both sweet and savory. Very fast, helpful and friendly staff. There is also a lot of choice on drinks and cocktails. You pay the right price and eat well.

23/08/2024: Siamo tornati con mia moglie in questo ristorante di Licata. Abbiamo amato l'ambiente intimo e romantico, posizione panoramica che permette di apprezzare dall’alto la città di Licata ed il suo castello. Ottimo menù variegato e ottimo servizio. Strabiliante. La ricchezza di profumi, colori e sapori delle pietanze siciliane rivisitate fanno sognare. Cibo raffinato e molto fantasioso. Vinoteca infinita per tutti i gusti e tasche. Complimenti!!! Consigliatissimo

29/07/2024: Immerso tra i monti e tra gli alberi, posto incantevole, bellissimo, abbiamo ordinato gli antipasti, tutti squisiti, la caponata buonissima, i formaggi e salumi freschissimi per non parlare della ricotta di pecora ancora calda con il miele e le noci, la pecora bollita e la trippa una squisitezza, i primi delicati una squisitezza, per non parlare dei cannoli il top!!! pubblico solo alcune foto, perché era tutto così buono che non facevamo in tempo a fare la foto.

23/07/2024: Im Internet haben wir diese Gaststätte entdeckt, und wollten sie unbedingt besuchen, da hier typisch sizilianische Küche angeboten wird. Die Zufahrt führt mitunter über sehr holprige Straßen, aber mit dem Navi haben wir unser Ziel sehr gut erreicht. Wir waren wochentags dort, und die einzigen Gäste. Auf Sizilien geht man eher abends ins Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft, besonders haben wir die Flecke mit Bohnen und das gegrillte Lamm genossen, welches auf einer brutzelnden Eisenpfanne serviert wird. Es war eine wirklich große Portion Fleisch, und das zu einem sehr guten Preis. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Lokalität gemütlich und sauber. Leider hatten wir nur in unserem Urlaub die Möglichkeit, dort zu essen, sonst würden wir sie öfter besuchen. Es ist ein Lokal für Gäste, die gern Hausmannskost konsumieren, schnörkellos, bodenständig, ohne hochtrabende Bezeichnungen, und man wird satt. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr schön, und wenn man nicht wie wir in der heißen Jahreszeit dort ist, sehr gut zum Wandern geeignet.

19/08/2024: Premise: the prices of this place are absurd in my opinion, disproportionate for the place and the quality of the food offered. For example, charging €3.00 cover charge in a place where you sit on a cheap plastic chair, on the table the tablecloth is made of festival-type paper, or the glass smells of rotten egg when you drink, or the hand dryer It doesn't work in the bathroom, I'd say you're not down to earth. The prices of the various dishes, just take a quick look, are very expensive compared to the average restaurant. If the quality of the food was very high, I wouldn't argue, but it doesn't really feel like I'm eating in a starred restaurant, with all due respect. The pizza is the one from the kebab shop near the house, there is absolutely zero Italian and southern pizza, so why those prices are so high?! Absurd. Why do desserts, many of which are packaged, have those prices? And I conclude, why does an anonymous media cost 7 euros?! Is there gold in it? I could continue but I won't, I'll just suggest to the potential customer to look carefully at the prices and think if they are acceptable for what is offered.

19/08/2024: Kind and smiling, but the fish is definitely frozen and the price is that of a fresh fish restaurant. Good for celiacs, but if you don't have particular intolerances, there is much better, even in terms of furnishings and atmosphere,

29/07/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo il 28 luglio. Il giorno della festa più importante del Paese. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare l’ultimo tavolo disponibile. Gli altri erano prenotati da mesi. Accoglienza molto calorosa da parte del proprietario e dei suoi due fratelli. Camerieri/e gentilissimi/e. Sala da pranzo in un antico frantoio arredata molto bene. Menu’ degustazione. Una decina di assaggi come antipasto (panelle, frittatina, caponata, formaggi, salame, ecc.) con ottimo pane. Due primi molto abbondanti: ravioli salsiccia e melanzane, busiate pistacchio mandorle guanciale. Busiate fantastiche. Due secondi: brasato al nero d’Avola e capocollo al forno. Contorno di patate. Cannolo come dolce. Vino rosso della casa a volontà. Acqua, caffè e liquore. Il tutto per 45 euro a testa. Tutto ottimo. Un consiglio: meglio prendere un vino in bottiglia della loro cantina molto fornita per dare più valore all’ottimo cibo. Ci dispiace vivere a più di 1000 km altrimenti torneremo spesso.

20/08/2024: Wow!!! What a fantastic food, the best pastries I ever had I my mouth. Croissant with pistachio cream is a heaven on earth. Anything you pick from this place you'll be surprised how tasty food can be. And ice creams in brioche 🥰🥰 it's definitely must visit in Sambuca. Thank you for everything
