11/06/2026: Our room was a little small. Window screens would be nice. We did not want to leave door to terrace open due to risk of mosquitoes. Location good due to proximity to Valley of the Temples and easy highway access. Restaurant food and service was excellent!!! Very nice staff.
07/06/2026: I had lunch here with my family. We tried four different types of pasta and three main courses. Everything was very good and fresh.

24/06/2026: Nice place 2 steps away off the main square in Sciacca. The tables are out on tge street in the pedestrian zone.
We came in without a reservation. They essentially created a table for us. The raw seafood platter was excellent, each of our dishes was pretty good.

22/05/2026: Thanks to this fantastic pastry shop, we were able to relive the sweets of our childhood. Since we couldn't return to Sicily, we requested shipping. Excellent service, fast and efficient. The cookies are packaged with extreme care. They are delicious, just like we ate them in the '70s and '80s. The staff is extremely courteous, both by email and over the phone.
I recommend Pasticceria Amico Alessandro 100% because they are the best!

Professional service and a refined atmosphere.
The owner, Giuseppe, is very friendly and offers excellent advice when it comes to selecting dishes.

29/06/2026: We easily got a table here on Saturday evening without a reservation. The tuna pizza, the mushrooms, and the mixed salad were excellent. The service was helpful at first, but became less and less attentive as the evening progressed. A shame.
The outdoor ambiance is rather basic. The lighting, unfortunately, is like an operating room.

22/10/2025: Excellent property, welcoming and surrounded by greenery. Very helpful staff, and the rooms are beautifully furnished and very clean. Breakfast is good, and the common areas are also very pretty and offer great views. I highly recommend it.
02/10/2025: This was our second trip to Menfi and staying with Planeta. The first at La Forsteria and this time and their sweet Country House. Both were lovely. The service is impeccable, the food outstanding, the cooking class a blast, and the location/setting perfect. A shout out to Giuseppe who took care of our every need and the breakfast attendants that greeted each morning with our Americana coffee at first sight. Will be back!

31/05/2026: A very elegant and welcoming hotel. Extremely kind and helpful staff. A generous breakfast, ranging from sweet to savory, caters to all tastes and needs.
The garden is beautiful, especially at night, where you can admire the most beautiful illuminated temples.
The hotel is strategically located, with restaurants, a snack bar, and a pharmacy nearby.
Fairly close to the Valley of the Temples and the Archaeological Museum.
28/05/2026: The hotel is ideally located; you can walk to the Valley of the Temples.
Their garden is beautiful and well-maintained.
The view is superb.
The staff is welcoming.
And the breakfast is perfect, featuring Sicilian specialties.

Congratulations to Gio Bar in Porto Empedocle for having the courage to offer such a unique flavor and for having executed it so beautifully. It's one of those flavors that lingers in your memory and makes you want to order another cone right away.
02/05/2026: We had two pericena and two really well-made cocktails, the service was very kind and attentive, and then a delicious ice cream sundae. Great price. We'll be back, highly recommended.

28/01/2026: The B&B is truly well-run, and the owner is very kind and helpful (we arrived after 8:00 PM due to work, but we spoke over the phone without any problems with check-in). He provided us with a super-extensive breakfast, almost like a hotel.
The B&B also has a large, convenient, fenced parking lot.
26/01/2026: The people are exceptionally friendly and willing to make your stay a pleasant one.
The rooms are simple and cold in the winter!
The breakfast is excellent, and the dinner (not included) is very good! Highly recommended.

07/06/2026: We went to this bar every morning of our stay because the pasticciotti are really good!!! The bar, tables, etc. are very clean and the waitress was very kind too.
16/05/2026: We stopped for a quick ice cream and a couple of coffees, the place is dated, in need of a bit of renovation, but the staff is very kind.

27/05/2026: This place was one of the few actually open a majority of the day. Not only was it accessible, it is hip, very cute, clean, and the service was amazing. They have lots of drink options and all really good!! We didn't make it in time for the full kitchen to be open but he fed us like we were his own family making us snack boards, and little finger sandwiches that were absolutely delicious. We stumbled up with a group of 16 and he didn't bat an eye. He was extremely helpful, kind, and a wonderful host. You must stop here if passing through!
