06/04/2026: We ended up there by chance. Since it was Easter Saturday, we treated ourselves to the set menu. It was excellent and worth every penny. The house wine was superb. We received very attentive and patient service.

04/04/2026: SCIACCA Small trattoria in the center of Sciacca. Few seats, very well-maintained, with beautiful exposed brick vaults. Typical regional menu of seafood or meat, but it's a shame they didn't have stigghiole on the menu. So, we recommend opting for fish with two seafood appetizers (fresh fish, you can taste it): spaghetti with clams and mussels, spaghetti with sea urchins, pasta with swordfish and eggplant, basil, half a glass of wine, coffee, and amaro, all for around €100. Tip: the shrimp in cocktail sauce is a must-try in the seafood appetizer. Given the quality of the ingredients you use, the flavor of the oil and citrus surpasses even that of the 1980s. But that's just a suggestion, of course. In any case, the product is very good, the service is decent. A wheelchair ramp is available.

07/02/2026: Uncle Pino is a legend. You come to this restaurant to eat authentic food, prepared with love and, above all, like it used to be: rustic flavors that take you back in time. For those who live outside of Sicily, going to places like this makes you feel like you were a kid eating at your grandparents' house. Everything is served with a smile and the friendliness of the owners and staff. A must-see every time I return to Sicily!

22/02/2026: We arrived at 7:50 PM and saw three cars in the parking lot. Thinking it was a shady place, we plucked up the courage to go in. We were immediately greeted with disarming kindness and professionalism. Shortly afterward, the place filled up completely, but the staff's attentiveness and care never wavered. The pizza was delicious, light, and beautifully served. I then decided to try the cuttlefish, and I received a dish prepared with unique skill. The bill left me perplexed, as I expected to spend at least €10-15 more per person.

22/10/2025: Excellent property, welcoming and surrounded by greenery. Very helpful staff, and the rooms are beautifully furnished and very clean. Breakfast is good, and the common areas are also very pretty and offer great views. I highly recommend it.

02/10/2025: This was our second trip to Menfi and staying with Planeta. The first at La Forsteria and this time and their sweet Country House. Both were lovely. The service is impeccable, the food outstanding, the cooking class a blast, and the location/setting perfect. A shout out to Giuseppe who took care of our every need and the breakfast attendants that greeted each morning with our Americana coffee at first sight. Will be back!

16/11/2025: Perhaps the best croissant with cooked cream I've ever had... so I often have breakfast here on weekends to see if it's the best. Alternatively, the puff pastry with apple is delicious. You can also choose from a variety of sweet treats, as well as savory focaccias. The cappuccino is also good, served in a large cup, as if it were at home, with a generous, fluffy froth. Recommended.
