We never had any doubts about choosing this location for our wedding, because over the years we've always seen it as a venue that stands out for its organization, professionalism, and attention to detail, and spending our most beautiful day here only confirmed this impression. We'd like to thank the maître d', who impeccably coordinated the entire staff, making us feel looked after and pampered from start to finish. We sensed genuine care not only for us, as newlyweds, but for each and every guest. One of the things that struck us most was the ability to manage every moment with ease and precision, never leaving room for improvisation. Behind every detail, you can sense extraordinary organization, the kind that guests may not see, but which truly makes the difference in the success of an event. We also greatly appreciated the attention shown to our guests' different dietary needs, which were accommodated and managed with great availability and professionalism. A special thank you also goes to Ottavio and Giuseppe, who accompanied us throughout this journey with their presence, availability, and kindness, always making us feel listened to and supported. The Kokalos Palace will not only be the place where we celebrated our wedding: it will forever preserve one of the most important and happy memories of our lives. Since I have allergies, the staff was very professional and attentive to my needs on various occasions, including lunches, dinners, and weddings. Plus, the service was fast. I've been enjoying it for years, and I'll definitely be back!!

08/05/2026: The location is truly beautiful, with meticulous attention to detail, professional and courteous service, and a very comfortable atmosphere. The food is top-notch, especially the carpaccio and, of course, the cuts of meat, which are expertly cooked. The extensive wine list is excellent. Prices are in line with the "Braceria" style of restaurant. Highly recommended.

04/05/2026: A superb experience! We tried various tartares and carpaccios, both incredibly fresh, followed by a Spanish rib-eye steak, perfectly cooked and marbled. The added value is the staff: the owner, Pietro, is a valuable guide in choosing the cuts and the quality, while the waitresses Roberta and Françoise were extremely kind and knowledgeable. Attentive service and top-quality ingredients. Highly recommended for those seeking the best!

05/04/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant in Castrofilippo, and unfortunately, the experience was anything but pleasant. * Stiff welcome: Despite having booked, we were insistently made to feel guilty about our lateness. I understand the importance of punctuality in the restaurant industry, but there are ways and means to communicate this to a customer who is paying for a service. * Surreal service: The low point of the evening came at the end of dinner. After purchasing an ice cream, we asked for a simple spoon to eat it. The staff's response? "Wait until it melts." I find it unacceptable that a business would respond with such sarcasm and laziness to a basic request. A customer should never feel like a "bother," especially for something as inexpensive as a plastic or metal spoon. * Conclusion: If you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and professional service, I recommend looking elsewhere. Kindness is not a given here.

20/03/2026: Excellent place, both as a restaurant/trattoria and for pizza. It has an outdoor area with several tables right in the pedestrian area. Excellent food, tasty and generous portions. The staff is very polite and helpful, the dining room is well-kept. Clean and tidy, even the bathroom, though a bit small. In the summer it fills up with tourists, so reservations are required. Average prices. Money well spent.

26/08/2025: It was as if old friends had invited us to dinner. Patrizia, in addition to being an excellent cook, is also a culinary school teacher, so together with Luigi, they explain the recipes and the history of the dishes you're enjoying in detail. It was a truly convivial and relaxed evening, so much so that we arrived at 7:00 PM and finished at midnight without realizing it! In short, it's definitely worth a try; if we ever return to Agrigento, we'll definitely be back. Warm regards to our guests, and don't forget Anas the dog, whose wonderful story Luigi will surely tell you.

12/05/2026: Personally, I think the best cannoli with ricotta are around. I often get them from Francesco Fiorica, who provides them in travel kits so I can fill them once I get to his office 800 km away... 100% traditional recipe

Congratulations to Gio Bar in Porto Empedocle for having the courage to offer such a unique flavor and for having executed it so beautifully. It's one of those flavors that lingers in your memory and makes you want to order another cone right away.
