12/11/2025: A very poetic place. Situated within the walls of the old city. The osteria is small but cozy. A few tables are inside and outside. The outdoor tables are set on a wide city staircase at different levels. Delicious appetizers. Excellent meat! The only problem is that the staff and customers smoke right by the entrance. And you eat like you're sitting next to an ashtray in a diner. Cheap. I hope they change the location of the smoking area. With such potential and quality, a smoking area changes everything.

18/10/2025: The wait to eat is long, but it's worth it. The staff is really friendly and super helpful. It's a very simple but welcoming place. We stopped in, inspired by the sight of so many people sitting at tables waiting every night. We ordered two fish sandwiches; the fish one was with octopus and pistachio cream. I don't think I've ever had such a good sandwich. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the sandwiches always come with a side of chips.

16/08/2025: Excellent value for money. Ideal location for visiting Agrigento and its Valley of the Temples. The setting is charming, the rooms clean and functional and the host Vincenzo is remarkably professional and kind. We highly recommend it.

12/08/2025: This place is my Roman Empire: very convenient location, ample parking, welcoming, and many beautiful animals, from parrots to the owners' very affectionate dogs. The staff is extremely kind and friendly, the rooms are clean, bright, comfortable, and spacious, and the value for money is fantastic. The pool area is lovely; if I had to nitpick, I'd say it's shallow (1.5 meters). I would gladly return; I had a wonderful time.

07/10/2025: Good pizza with quality ingredients and average prices. It's not fair to give more stars because, beyond the food, you have to evaluate the entire experience, which in our case was marred by an exhausting wait and stifling heat. We arrived at 9:00 PM and the pizzas arrived at 11:20 PM. The air conditioning was inexplicably turned off despite the heat inside the restaurant, and we had to ask 3 or 4 times before they would turn on even one. The staff was friendly but insufficient, and the owner was kind and very hospitable. The small discount on the bill and the complimentary coffee and liqueur were appreciated.

21/09/2025: We went to this place for pizza and the experience was overall very positive. The quality of the food is truly excellent, with fresh ingredients and excellent, light, and easily digestible dough. The service was also friendly, with kind and helpful waiters. The only things that could be improved were the somewhat long wait times and the fact that we had to ask for glasses several times. The large crowds on Saturday night likely affected the organization, so I recommend going on a less hectic day. Otherwise, everything was fine.

06/11/2025: A wonderful restaurant offering delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. The waiter who served us was wonderful, acting like a true host and making our dinner a wonderful experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We ordered the grilled seafood mix, caponata, fried octopus, and beef. The beef was the best I've ever had. The seafood was also prepared perfectly, exactly as it should be.

04/11/2025: It's expensive and tasteless. The food is like home-cooked food, but not in a good way; it's like they didn't put any effort into it. The seafood pasta had empty shells and tiny shrimp heads. Also, the website listed here and the prices on it don't match the restaurant menu prices at all. Overall, I don't recommend it at all; you can eat much better and much tastier for the same price.

05/12/2025: Very friendly and professional bar. I’d passed by many times but had never been inside. When I finally went in for something sweet, I realized it’s much cozier inside than it looks from the outside, and they offer many pastries from the south.

30/08/2025: A renowned local restaurant, historic and always busy. The Margherita pizza we ordered was good, but the "pretty" one wasn't. However, I'm convinced that the evening (Saturday evening), the first Saturday evening in August, with so many customers to serve, justifies a few small shortcomings.

03/12/2025: Great experience! The restaurant is located in the center of Agrigento, on the main tourist streets, just a few meters from the town hall and the Pirandello theater. It features elegant, soft furnishings, a mostly tourist clientele, and several dining rooms. We ordered pizzas: mine was pesto with prosciutto, the other Turkish. The first was delicious; the pesto wasn't too sweet and blended perfectly with the ingredients. We didn't like the second; it tasted like pizza with breadcrumbs and no other flavors. The staff is kind, friendly, and helpful; they welcomed us immediately, and the wait was minimal. They were super efficient. The only downside is the prices are a bit high. €38 for two pizzas, a water, and a small Coke; it's worth it every now and then.

01/12/2025: I'd say the seriousness and professionalism are completely lacking. On Saturday night, they offered the option of physically taking turns to get a table, even requiring a woman to write down her last name in a notebook. I couldn't tell if she was an employee or the owner. In any case, we were a couple, and we were booked ahead of other groups of four or more, some as many as twelve. Evidently, the lady (who lacks professionalism and competence) saw fit to repeatedly "pass us by," allowing larger groups to be seated, to the detriment of the couples who found themselves waiting unacceptably long waits. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED. Via Atenea offers excellent pizzerias, with at least professional staff (I repeat, they're out of sorts here).

29/08/2025: Had a bad experience here 2 years ago. Maybe it was the yeast, but I had a bad night visiting the bathroom a few times. To give it credit, I had a takeout recently which was fine after. Maybe it was just that one bad pizza. But I guess we all have to take our chances!

05/10/2025: What can I say? It's a perfect place, quiet yet centrally located in Agrigento. Excellent pizza and quality products. I recommend trying it.
