31/07/2024: Hospitality, quality and courtesy. I had never tried the food and wine experience in Ostrea and I admit, after having experienced it, that it is an excellent compromise between the quality of the raw materials, the presentation of the dishes and the kindness of the staff. Absolutely worth trying for those who love fish and find themselves passing through Agrigento and its province, as the restaurant is in Favara. I leave you some photos to capture the essence of Ostrea.

26/06/2024: Abitualmente, in occasione del rientro pomeridiano, mi fermo al Bar Rio per la pausa pranzo. Nicola, con i suoi primi, rende ogni mercoledì una dolce scoperta e delizia. In genere, mi astengo dallo scrivere le recensioni ma oggi, la Busiata Melanzana e Tonno Rosso con l’immancabile spolverata di mollica, preparata di persona personalmente da Nicola, mi ha veramente invogliato. Non aggiungo altro per non parlare delle generosissime porzioni………

30/07/2024: Non ci andate se non volete vedere soffrire gli animali, il posto è carino il problema è che c’è 5 gattini di cui uno piccolissimo che hanno fame, miagolano e vengono ai tavoli e per mandarli via gli spruzzano dell’acqua, io capisco che sia un problema per loro sopratutto perché ci sono persone che non gradiscono la loro presenza, ma non è possibile vederli stare così male veramente. Nel 2024 ancora siamo messi così male, chissà quanti avanzi faranno essendo un ristorante/agriturismo. Purtroppo la mia cena è stata accompagnata tutto il tempo da un perenne magone nel vedere il patimento di questi gatti, una volta finita la cena ho portato loro dei pezzi di tonno dalla mia pizza e facevano a gara a chi potesse prenderla e miagolavano per quanta fame avevano, mi dispiace ma per quanto riguarda la mia personale recensione non è accettabile.

06/07/2024: The "Grotta di Vigata" is a delightful restaurant, masterfully managed by the owner, exquisite traditional Sicilian dishes, very fresh fish, excellent and abundant dishes. An excellent value for money! We keep coming back to try different dishes, highly recommended!

30/06/2024: Last night my family and I of 5 adults dined at Sacrestano. The name Sacrestano is perfect as the food was a truly spiritual experience! We had the six course menu and each dish was truly excellent. The chef and his wife clearly take great care in preparing their own magnificent take on each delicious dish- fish, octopus, pasta, zucchini soup, a deconstructed bruschetta, eggplant parmigiana arancini, figs with honey and sugar and sweetened ricotta over strawberry soup with magnificent pistachio and almond crumble! Yes, divine! Plus, the chef and his wife are truly great hosts and very warm and congenial. Please go. You will have a truly great dining experience!

01/06/2024: We had dinner with my wife at this magnificent establishment. A very high level restaurant that makes you feel at ease as if you were at home. Attentive and attentive service, never intrusive. Excellent wine list. Super balanced dishes, where the sea and the countryside of Licata are valued and respected to the maximum. All the dishes were not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious to eat and perfect in their combinations. No ingredient dominated the other and everything was easily recognisable. Highly recommended experience.
