07/10/2025: I'm sorry I can't give it zero stars. There were two of us, we wanted to have lunch there, we arrived and the waiter (very clumsy, awkward, and not even capable of carrying a tray) was already very nervous and made us wait even to be seated. We finally sat down, but more than a quarter of an hour went by and he hadn't even asked us what we wanted to drink. So I called him and, gruffly, he replied, "Hey... I can't, I have things to do." After 10 minutes, I went in to ask at the counter for a bottle of water. He got annoyed at my request for a second glass, and I also asked him if I could order some croquettes while I waited. He replied, "Look, it's not like you can order just because you're here, I'm following an order, blah blah." I went back to sit down and realized that everyone had already ordered (because the tables had been set). After about 40 minutes, he finally comes to order. I ask for a chicken breast sandwich instead of the burger, and no pepper. When I ask for this last request, the waiter in question (who I think was actually the owner) says, "Listen, girl, if I ask the chef this question, I think he'll tell me to go to hell. We've been working for (I don't know how long), etc." I reply, "I don't think it's much of a stretch to not add pepper, but anyway, nothing, it's fine." He says, "Okay, goodbye, 1.50 for the water," and runs off. In short, absolutely not recommended. We only wasted 45 minutes of our time, and I've never seen such unprepared and rude staff.

19/10/2025: We were very well received, even though we hadn't booked. They still found us a small spot. It was excellent.

18/11/2025: A charming place in the heart of the beautiful town of Sambuca. The owner is very kind and gracious. The atmosphere is Italian, meaning it's bustling, crowded, and loud! Delicious coffee, a large selection of fresh homemade pastries! The pistachio croissant melted in my mouth! I highly recommend it.

11/11/2025: This is the first place we came to for coffee every morning when we visited Sambuca di Sicilia. We always received a warm welcome and you can sit inside but if the weather is beautiful as it often it is make sure to sit outside. From here you can watch the world go by and be greeted by locals. Choose from savoury or sweet freshly made snacks. I especially love the pistachio cornetto (looks like a croissant) and their Arancini if you manage to beat the crowds are so delicious. At lunch they offer pasta for lunch if you fancy a change from pastry. You can’t go wrong if you choose to eat and drink here.

14/08/2025: Nice location, fast service, extensive menu, decent portions, attentive, friendly and helpful waiters. The only flaw is the owner or manager at the cash register who, in the two evenings we dined at this restaurant in a week, never returned our greetings or even offered a timid smile.

13/10/2025: My husband and I had an excellent meal, each having a mussel soup and a caponata as antipasti, as well as tagliatelle with pistachios and speck and tagliatelle with seafood. It tasted excellent, was perfectly seasoned, and the service was friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

12/10/2025: A charming restaurant nestled in a small, stepped alleyway perpendicular to Via Atenea. Delicious, authentic, and generous cuisine—probably the best dishes we've tasted since arriving in Sicily! All at a more than reasonable price. A superb discovery

16/09/2025: We expected something better. Fried zucchini flowers, far too greasy and heavy to digest. The amatriciana was good. The wine list was quite limited.
