On my way back from the Valley of the Temples, I happened to stop in Canicattì and ate the best gelato of my vacation. The best zuppa inglese of my life!!!!!!

I recommend stopping in Canicattì and stopping at the Parnaso café to enjoy gratins, croissants (filled freshly with their products), ice cream, and much more. Everything is artisanal and top-quality. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the location is truly unique.

05/05/2026: The perfect place for a coffee break. Or even fresh organic blood orange juice... Alberto, the owner, is very kind and welcoming. Everyone is very sweet. There's a friendly atmosphere. There are seating areas inside and outside on the side of the basilica.

The real highlight is the owner, Giuseppe: a delightful, kind, and incredibly helpful person. He makes you feel at home from the first moment. Highly recommended for those seeking quality and impeccable hospitality in Favara. We'll definitely be back!
