02/03/2025: Siamo capitati in questa pizzeria per caso, durante la festa di carnevale . Eravamo in 4 e tutti i piatti erano eccellenti. Da provare assolutamente la pizza Desiree’ e la pizza Alicudi. Personale cordiale e prezzi accessibili. Personalmente credo che sia la pizza più buona in Sicilia

25/09/2024: Esposa y yo hemos visitado La Caravella muchas veces a lo largo de los años, Dominic y su equipo siempre nos han cuidado mucho y nos trataron como familia. Durante esta visita pasamos cuatro días disfrutando del paisaje y almuerzos tranquilos. Las tumbonas de playa están muy bien espaciadas y tiene una sombrilla bien anclada para proporcionar sombra si se desea. Su equipo nos recogería en nuestro hotel Taormina y nos transportaría a la playa donde nos recibirían y nos mostrarían nuestros lugares para el día. Camine unos pasos hacia atrás hasta el restaurante cubierto donde el menú es bastante grande y variado, a un precio razonable y la comida siempre deliciosa. El servicio es siempre amable, eficiente y atento. Al final del día el transporte de Dominic nos lleva de vuelta a nuestro hotel. Gracias a Dominic y a todo el equipo por otra maravillosa visita de varios días!

13/09/2024: Gran experiencia en la playa. La Caracalla nos recogió con su lanzadera y nos llevó al club de playa. Incluido en nuestro precio era el servicio de transporte, 2 sillas y una sombrilla. La playa estaba limpia y el mar claro. Tuvimos un almuerzo fabuloso en el restaurante y el propietario nos organizó un viaje en barco por la zona. Muy recomendable.

02/04/2025: Very large and clean place, certainly suitable for ceremonies, the staff were very kind, I took a mixed local appetizer to divide between 4, good but not much, 4 pizzas I would say were good, 4 beers, 3 coffees, 1 bitter, the price was definitely a bit high

30/03/2025: Un locale per tutte le occasioni curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Servizio eccellente, personale gentile e disponibile che anticipa qualsiasi esigenza. Un'offerta variegata di piatti che accontentano proprio tutti, porzioni abbondantissime e cucina di altissima qualità, basata su materie prime di eccellenza. Il pane fatto in casa è una chicca. Torneremo sicuramente per provare la loro pizza con forno a legna.

02/04/2025: I arrived to spend the day in Porto Empedocle, before going to the beach and arriving at the Stalla dei Turchi, I walked around the center for a bit and saw this shop. I walked around, and on my way back to Loreto to catch the bus, and feeling hungry, I went to this bar. In particular I asked for a sandwich, but they have more things to offer, a great variety of sandwiches, and I chose one of cooked ham and bruschetta, with smoked provola. The price, together with a can, 6 euros, not bad. The correct and kind attention, and the sandwich itself, delicious. Back to Porto Empedocle, at least I don't have to worry about finding where to eat.

06/02/2025: A very cute and lovely bar with delicious food prepared with love! We had such a great time there, amazing atmosphere, and Giò is very kind!!

13/04/2025: Mi esposa y yo fuimos a cenar a Al Saraceno anoche y la comida era genial y también el ambiente. Así que decidimos volver hoy solo para una copa después de la cena. Y de nuevo nos trataron con la mejor calidad y hospitalidad. ¡Muy recomendable!

02/04/2025: Very warm service. Absolutely incredible pasta. We had the boar ragu with truffle and the scialletelle gambero (shrimp) and both were fantastic! Stunning view of Etna and the town as well.

02/11/2024: Great bar with a great team. We had delicious drinks and sandwiches and all at reasonable prices. Then there is the great beach with the loungers and the sea, what more could you want?

11/04/2025: The card is very worn, the prices have been corrected with a pen, as usual in Sicily, the tables are colorful, but the food is flawless. I recommend the local appetizers and horse meat.

26/03/2025: Were overcharged on the final bill, ordered 2 pinze 4 cocktails. This combo is 40€ total, first bill was around 55€, asked to correct it, waitress came back with a 49€ bill. Paid and left as we didn't want to argue.

05/04/2025: Although 7:00 p.m. is stated as the opening time (web+entrance door), the service only started at 7:30 p.m. The waiter was very friendly and the boss directed me to the homepage when I asked for the wine list. However, nothing was deposited there. The food was very creamy and fat-heavy, tasty and generous portions. The restaurant is tastefully and casually furnished; Unfortunately it was quite cold near the fireplace, so we kept our jackets on. The price level seems reasonable to me.
