22/08/2024: Sicilian rotisserie where everything is cooked strictly following authentic local recipes. All strictly homemade, I think their arancino is a real Oscar winner! The focaccia and rustici are also excellent! The hospitality of Massimo and Giusy who kept us there with the explanation of the various recipes made us truly feel at home! Recommended for those who want to taste the real Sicily.

09/03/2025: Small corner of sweets paradise. Small but welcoming location, outdoor area overlooking the beautiful gardens of Villa Margherita, service not very fast but courteous... Of the desserts on offer I really wouldn't leave anything behind... For now my favorite is a ricotta and cinnamon mignon...

28/03/2025: The food was amazing! The cocktails were even more amazing! Fantastic small plate options for people who live to share. The view of the lake was beautiful. Value for the price point is dead on. Small, intimate environment that could be upgraded for better atmosphere but the food and drinks more than compensate. I ate there while visiting town, but it is the number one place I will insist on visiting when I return!

03/02/2025: A fixed stop when passing through Isnello. Cozy place, super friendly and helpful staff, typical and genuine cuisine, truly authentic flavours. From the appetizers, to the first courses, to the meat second courses, everything was excellent, only well-deserved compliments. 2 years later, always a confirmation. Our 4-legged friend 🐺 who you welcome every time also sends a thank you.

30/03/2025: Today, my partner and I had lunch in this magnificent and warm restaurant and I was deeply impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The menu featured a variety of innovative dishes, with bold flavors and beautiful presentation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made sure our meal was memorable, providing great recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. Not to mention Mrs. Giusy, the owner of the restaurant, always available, attentive, professional and present to satisfy our every request. I can never recommend "Terra di Venere" enough for a fantastic dining experience."

10/03/2025: We were guests for a carnival costume party, well organised, the food was also excellent. I also noticed the animals but as it was evening I couldn't really understand beyond the donkey what it was about. Not easy to find the place.

12/01/2025: Il posto è bellissimo, il camino che scalda la sala, tutto così meraviglioso. La signora Cinzia è una persona meravigliosa, gentile, accogliente attenta a tutto. Ci ha serviti e coccolati dal primo istante in cui siamo arrivati fino alla fine. Piatti tutti caserecci e fatti freschi, super abbondanti e super buoni. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti al 100% torneremo sicuramente e consigliamo assolutamente questo ristorante per chi vuole sentirsi a casa, mangiando bene.

26/10/2024: Dismal and unpleasant welcome. Staff borderline aggressive and annoyed that we entered their store, 1/2 hour before they closed. Unfriendly to tourists, no effort to speak slowly even though we make the effort to speak Italian!! A shame that this address is in the backpacker's guide. The antithesis of the values ​​of warm welcome and kindness towards tourists, advocated by the backpacker guide. We turned on our heels and left without buying anything. What a shame and what a shame.

23/09/2024: Well-kept early seventies venue, large outdoor spaces with a beautiful view of the sea, very helpful and courteous staff. Fish-based menu with few but excellent dishes (I had never eaten tuna like this). The chef's appetizer was excellent (pity that the peppered mussels that had been presented to me verbally were missing, the description is missing on the menu), the first courses and the second courses. The presentation is very careful. The only note is that the prices are a little above average.

18/09/2024: Sono stato due notti a settembre; la scelta è dettata soprattutto perchè dalle foto vedo che è sul mare. La struttura anche se non molto grande ha tutto l'occorrente per passare qualche giorno di relax, è accogliente ed ordinata. La proprietà ed il personale giovanile, tutti molto gentili e sempre disponibili. Camere ben pulite, un bagno probabilmente ristrutturato da poco, veramente bello, molto meglio di altre strutture più blasonate o 4 stelle. Abbiamo cenato per due sere, nonostante il menù fosse "imposto" per via di un ticket regalo, ciò che ci hanno offerto era di ottima qualità, ben preparato e molto buono; complimenti! Se non becchi il mare mosso e soprattutto vento, com'è successo a me, il posto si rivela molto rilassante e le giornate vanno via spensierate, viceversa trovare qualcosa da fare diventa difficile, Menfi non offre molto, idem Portopalo, un pò più interessante Sciacca, ma una volta fatto un giro, non è che si può stare tt il giorno a fare tappe nei bar per far passare il tempo. Unica nota stonata a mio avviso, è far pagare ombrellone e sdraio a chi pernotta, che ritengo diverso da chi vuole trascorrere una singola giornata in mare e giustamente paga per il servizio; tanto più che (pur non essendo colpa del gestore) causa tempo non bello, ho utilizzato il servizio per circa 2/3 ore... In conclusione posto consigliato per pochi giorni.
