Gaetano, Antonio and all the staff are unique, helpful and very kind.

02/08/2025: I dined at this restaurant in the heart of Palermo and had a very positive experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with a pleasant blend of Sicilian tradition and modern details. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu offers typical Sicilian dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The prices are in line with the quality and central location, just steps from the Teatro Massimo.

30/07/2025: I think I've been a good customer and would have liked to continue being one, but the young owner is too fickle for my tastes, smiling and helpful one day, sulking and indolent the next when I ask a simple question. The service is decent but sometimes a bit counterintuitive. The rotisserie is decent but with above-average prices; the restaurant upstairs offers fairly good meat. What a shame! Customers, especially the good ones, need to be kept close. This review isn't about your competitors, but about a dissatisfied former customer.

19/07/2025: More of a restaurant than a wine bar. Every dish is unique and high-quality. Excellent mussels with gorgonzola. Fried fish with the freshest fish and the lightest fried fish. The almond and chocolate desserts are delicious.

17/07/2025: Arrivando dalla Sardegna, quando il mio compagno della zona mi ha proposto di cenare in questo locale, avendoci mangiato molti anni fa, sono andata di impulso a vedere le recensioni, tante, di cui circa la metà non proprio positive. Anche se mi è saltato subito all' occhio che le recensioni positive erano molto elevate, quindi ho voluto dare fiducia. Premetto che Sferracavallo merita di essere visitata e la cena gustata con i dovuti tempi, eravamo preoccupati perché in alcune recensioni si faceva riferimento alla fretta dei camerieri nel voler liberare il tavolo...Smentisco assolutamente questo aspetto. Siamo arrivati per le 21 e con molta sorpresa devo ammettere che alle 21.05 già ci venivano servite le prime pietanze di antipasti a base di frittura di calamari e gamberi, insalata di polpo, sarde e alici, gamberi in salsa rosa, ostriche e cozze, tutto saporito, in abbondanza e freschissimo. Abbiamo assaporato tutto con calma, accompagnando il tutto con un ottimo vino della zona. I tre primi serviti successivamente ugualmente buonissimi: risotto con gamberetti e asparagi, spaghetti alle vongole (ottimi) e pasta tipica con un sugo a base di pesce, menta e finocchietto, molto particolare e saporito ( per palati sopraffini). Per non parlare dell' ottimo e fresco trancio di pesce spada alla griglia servito alla fine, accompagnato da uno spiedino di gamberi impastellati e panati, ugualmente molto particolari e saporiti. Devo ammettere che a scapito delle recensioni negative sono rimasta sbalordita dalla gentilezza del personale, ma dulcis in fundo alle h.22.15 il cameriere che porta in cucina le cassette di gamberi appena consegnati, freschi sotto ghiaccio ci ha lasciato veramente meravigliati, a conferma della freschezza dei prodotti utilizzati. Ottimi sapori e meravigliosi profumi del mare siciliano. Siamo andati via alle 23,00 più che sazi e soddisfatti per un menù degustazione di 35€, soldi spesi benissimo. Speriamo di riuscire a ritornarci presto.

16/07/2025: Every time I go to Palermo, Il Delfino in Sferracavallo is a must. The food is truly delicious! The menu is extensive: numerous appetizers, three first courses, a second course, sorbet, and wine... all for only €35 per person. The waiters are always kind and helpful, despite the large influx of customers that fills the restaurant every day. The price is more than fair for the quality and quantity of food offered. An authentic trattoria, where tradition and hospitality truly shine. Top marks!

05/08/2025: Spectacular arancini! The real ones! With ragù, but with tender shredded meat, just like the original recipe! Even in the pistachio version, taking them with you to the beach will make your vacation even more Sicilian!

11/07/2025: Un posto da scoprire con l'aiuto dello staff che riesce ad accompagnarti in un percorso eno gastronomico della cucina locale anche con piatti non presenti nel menù che però appagano sia lo stomaco che lo spirito. Tutto con cordialità e simpatia. È un peccato soggiornare a Trapani e non farsi un giro in via Garibaldi al Gral Lounge Cafe' dove si possono gustare anche solo degli aperitivi strepitosi. 11/07/2025: A place to discover with the help of the staff, who can guide you on a food and wine journey through local cuisine, even with dishes not on the menu that will satisfy both the stomach and the spirit. All served with warmth and friendliness. It's a shame to stay in Trapani and not visit the Gral Lounge Cafe on Via Garibaldi, where you can also enjoy some amazing aperitifs. Giuseppe and Antonella

14/07/2025: A delicious restaurant/pizzeria not far from Syracuse, with a large veranda and indoor parking, as well as a garden suitable for receptions. The menu we sampled on the three consecutive evenings we visited included a cone of mixed fried fish, a trio of citrus gratin pasta, almond parfait, pizzolo pasta with eggplant, swordfish caponata, mussels with pepper, and pistachio parfait, along with zibibbo grapes and sorbet.

11/07/2025: A great place with ample parking, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and a beautiful garden overlooking Mount Etna. A large playground for children. We went there twice during our stay – the service was friendly (Angelo was excellent). We enjoyed the meat dishes, as well as the fish and seafood, and the local pizza (the chefs loved them). And finally, the desserts… Everything was delicious. The prices were reasonable for the quality. I definitely recommend it.

10/07/2025: Scoperto per caso, siamo stati accolti con simpatia, discrezione e grande professionalità. Lavorazione eccellente delle materie prime. Il panino con il tonno lo ricorderò ancora per molto tempo. Lo consiglio vivamente per passare una piacevole, rilassante e gustosissima serata.

11/06/2025: In the heart of Catania, in an inconspicuous place hidden in one of the side streets, I discovered a real gem – a pizza that delights with every bite. The dough is perfectly baked, crispy on the edges and soft in the middle, providing a perfect base for fresh, aromatic ingredients. Although the place does not attract attention from the outside, the level of the dishes served is easily comparable to the best Italian pizzerias. It is a culinary surprise that you want to return to again and again.
