24/05/2025: Sea food and fish was fresh and good. Service was disaster where the order was totally wrong and late with 12 Osters instead of 6, no shrimps and side dish was also wrong. Very strange with almost 10 waiters…certainly lost in translation between italian, French English and digital tools.

18/05/2025: We were there almost every day. The best dishes were from the daily specials. The service wasn't always fluent in English, but it was super authentic. Favorites were the mixed appetizer platter and the fish in a potato crust. It's best to make a reservation on weekends. A definite recommendation!

08/06/2025: Very good local pizza and a great atmosphere to soak in the vibes of the city. Absolutely not touristic. The wine options were amazing. The prizing for the pizza was very fair and moderate. Definitely consider getting dinner there if you’re in modica 🍕

16/05/2025: Dirty, unkempt bar/cafe. Espresso was served from a bottle, and the canola wasn't chilled. Absolutely not recommended.

Every dish smells of tradition: from the abundant first courses to the typical desserts, everything is prepared with care and passion. The chef is an exquisite person, he personally comes out of the kitchen to ask if everything is to your liking - a rare human touch that really makes the difference. Highly recommended for those looking for real flavors and a warm and genuine welcome.

06/09/2024: Il luogo è accogliente e vivace, nel centro di Balestrate, proprio sulla piazza, e il servizio è eccellente, ma è la pizza soprattutto a valere le cinque stelle, con tantissime tipologie fra cui poter scegliere, a prezzi accessibili. Lo staff è professionale e gentile e il pizzaiolo vi conquisterà con la sua simpatia.

24/05/2025: I am gluten and lactose intolerant, I was able to eat well and they even brought me bread especially and dessert for me. Beautiful place and really kind and professional staff. 10 minutes walk from the historic center near the sea.

The employees there found a solution for us straight away and the food we ordered was ready for takeaway very quickly. They were fast, helpful and polite. The food we ended up getting as takeaway was impeccable. Thank you very much!

24/05/2025: We had dinner at A putia dell’ostello and we were welcomed very warmly. The food was excellent, the service was fast and professional. A special compliment to Siria who had great attention and smiles for me and my family and for the guests present!

14/05/2025: I can only review the cannoli because it is the one I took on the advice of a friend. You pass by Purgatorio to go to San Vito lo capo, a mandatory stop to enjoy a cannoli and a good coffee.

25/04/2025: I had dinner at De Gusto on 04/19/2025 together with my family, taking a starter and a main course each, the rich and varied starter allowed us to try their arancina, quality cured meats, vegetable meatballs, and various well-prepared vegetables. The main course was a surprise, the crazy gnocchi are worth a try, the combination of gorgonzola and red fruits is perfect and surprising, if you want to find a flaw, the addition of a reduction of red fruits could allow the balance of the dish to be preserved even after the red fruits are finished. Excellent rolls with a splendid presentation, well-made caponata and chicory and evidently with excellent fresh vegetables,
