02/05/2025: The best cannoli I had in Cefalu, or in all of Sicily... An older man is watching, and from here on, the level of confidence increases... That size costs 2.7 euros, and right next to the cannoli they also sell something like cheese bread, but it's a shame I couldn't eat that. It's close to the bus stop, so be sure to visit at break time. Absolutely recommended! No regrets!

28/05/2025: Pizzeria in the center of Ortigia. Young and friendly staff. Modern and very well furnished environment. You can see some beautiful wallpapers on the walls. The pizza was good but the digestibility of the same was really complicated. So my judgment on the food cannot go beyond two stars.

04/06/2025: Consigliato da mio figlio Tommaso e Valentina la sua compagna, siamo riusciti fortunatamente a prenotare in questo meraviglioso posto in cui fare esperienza del mangiare bene curato da un ottimo chef. Ottima l'accoglienza e una carta molto completa che abbina sia un menu alla carta di pesce sia un vasto menu di pizze e fritti. Ho scelto per l'accasione una pizza con burrata e pistacchio, veramente ottima cosi come ottimi i fritti. Vale il posto e vale il cibo. Tutti gli altri miei commensali hanno scelto cose diverse e tutti hanno apprezzato le loro pietanze. Ottimo anche l'accoglienza e la gentilezza e raffinatezza della proprietaria. Ho conosciuto anche lo chef che ci ha salutato e conversato amabilmente con il nostro gruppo prima di lasciare il locale.

27/05/2025: 5 stars deserves it all!! We celebrated my baby's baptism everything was really very nice and elegant at the same time, our menu included fried appetizers and pizza. (tasty good pizza) their wood-fired oven in sight is wonderful 🤩 A thank you goes to Mr. LA ROSA and the staff because finding kind and helpful people today is not easy. I RECOMMEND GOING TO EAT AT GRACE RESTAURANT.

15/05/2025: Palazzo Biscari is the most interesting patrician residence in Catania still inhabited by heirs and by consulting the owners it can be visited. Most of the collections have been lost, in the visitable rooms you can admire paintings portraits of members of the princely family, furniture and furnishings from the 18th century. The music room is famous, a masterpiece of Sicilian Rococo, interesting decorations and stuccos. Negative note: the markets inside the palace. Very ironic guide.

22/05/2025: First of all, I ate very well, the place is nice and clean and the staff is kind and qualified. The only thing I don't understand is the name and the menu. The restaurant is called "Sicilia Nostra", as a Sicilian I only find 3/4 "our" dishes, the rest are dishes served everywhere. Some pleasant reinterpretations like the Bottoni al gambero rosso.....but not much of Sicily. It's a shame because for the price paid I would have liked more courage.

11/05/2025: We went to lunch today at this restaurant, terrible experience... we sit down at 1:30 pm after a modest wait we order 3 appetizers and 3 first courses they arrive after half an hour I would say normal good but nothing exceptional after about an hour we ask about the first courses they tell us they are in progress another 3 quarters of an hour pass and the first course arrives after a while the second but dulci simfundo the third never arrived in fact twice the wrong dishes arrived at that point we got up (it was already 4:00 pm) we went to pay without apologies and without a price reduction for the shameful inconvenience.... Highly recommended...

14/05/2025: Excellent experience to be repeated absolutely. I came across the Trattoria Saltimbocca recommended by friends. The first thing that struck me was the attention of the waiters and the owner (unfortunately not common in Catania); the fish was all very fresh and cooked to perfection and Mr. Giancarlo was always present in the room, attentive to each table and happy to give you directions on the menu. The last pleasant surprise was the bill, definitely lower than the average for the city. I recommend everyone to try it and I intend to return as soon as possible

08/05/2025: Great atmosphere and nice service. Food not my favorite - Sicily tends to be two extremes, either overly salty or no salt at all. Baffling. We had anchovies starter which my companion loved but I didn’t and I had the Anormal. It was well presented but bland; like they don’t salt the pasta water. They had the mussels soup which was very tasty.

08/05/2025: Unfortunately, the food was just ok as expected from the reviews, the ambience in the restaurant was rather cool and boring, the view of the harbor was very nice, the left side of the terrace was a bit dingy and not very inviting. Service was friendly, but some things were forgotten. Prices rather too high

09/05/2025: Wat een met zorg bereide gerechten. Mijn man nam naast een pasta ook de borsjt. Die was heerlijk, goed gevuld met groenten en vlees. Mijn dochter en ik deelden een paigiana en hadden daarna ook een heerlijke pasta. De porties zijn groot. Mijn lasagne was echt heerlijk.
