02/12/2024: Last year, on a one month sabbatical of Italy, I spent about 3 nights in Taormina and my first evening there was spent dining at TreQuarti Taormina. The gentleman who owns the space was so hospitable and made me feel so comfortable, made great conversation, and suggested one of my favorite dishes of the whole trip, swordfish rolls. (Don't knock it until you try it, it's a delicious take on fish.) Additionally, when I had first arrived to the quaint town, I struggled immensely to get my overpacked luggage down the stairs to my Airbnb, that happened to be across from this adorable restaurant. The owner of this restaurant helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs to my accommodations (in the blistering heat) and helped ease my embarrassment in front of his customers. I am so grateful for this interaction and the dining experience too. Definitely worth a visit to this spot!

05/07/2025: We've had a fantastic family dinner at this cozy place on Saturday, July 5th! We were greeted in a very friendly fashion, and served by the two nicely smiling waitresses (sorry, I'm not sure of their names 🤔). The meals were delicious 😋 for the record, it has been the best pizza i've ever had in my life! Gnocchi and the salad crowned that night for us. Highly recommend CKJ to all authentic pizza lovers!

16/07/2025: Set menu featuring the catch of the day, including five fish courses, fruit, dessert, water, and wine for €30 per person. The quality of the fish is excellent and the value is absolutely fair. The staff is courteous and friendly. Recommended!

21/05/2025: I know and frequent places like this, so I know that I pay for craft beer, and that's fine... good and I pay for it, even if it's lukewarm and not cold as beer commands. But... not only not accompanied by chips or peanuts or popcorn, (on €28 of beers, 30 cents are nothing) to our order of chips (a few) and mayonnaise in a dwarf bowl...we ask for a little more mayonnaise...and in the bill we notice that they charge us €0.5. I'm speechless, as I told the boy it's not for the 50 cents... but in my life I've never paid for a little more mayonnaise. It's strange that they didn't charge me for the 5 minutes of IQOS recharge... Terrible marketing choice....for 50 cents you've lost customers and paid for terrible advertising. ad maiora

31/05/2025: This one was a bit hit and miss for us. Some dishes were great, others we weren’t so keen on. The waiting staff were lovey, friendly and attentive. What spoilt it for us was the atmosphere. The entrance to the restaurant has nothing more than the name over the door, and there is nothing inside other than a spiral stair case going upwards, but nothing inviting or telling you you are going in the right direction. Once you get to the top still nothing of notice other than glass door, where we were met by the friendly staff once we walked through, but nothing inviting a very welcoming entrance. The atmosphere was completely lacking, not helped by the fact that it is a large room in pleasant surroundings, but being a Sunday evening there was only us and two other couples which made for a very quiet environment. Don’t think my wine choice this evening helped either. This one missed for us which was a shame.

12/07/2025: A place I've been wanting to visit for a while. I showed up without a reservation on a weekday and was greeted by the very friendly staff. I was able to choose a table in the restaurant's very characteristic internal courtyard, nestled between two historic buildings, under a gallery of fairy lights. The food was very good and authentic, the drinks equally good, and the service was consistent and attentive. A small improvement in the food served would be welcome, which, in my opinion, could be slightly improved for aperitifs.

19/06/2025: Excellent trattoria, I was pleasantly surprised. You actually don't expect to find a trattoria/restaurant specializing in fish in the center of Caltagirone. And what fish! Everything is very fresh and delicious, prepared with masterly skill by an extraordinary chef. The service is also excellent. In short, if you are looking for a high-level restaurant, with affordable prices, this is the right place, trust me!

03/07/2025: I think that in the last 4 or 5 years I have never eaten such good fish. Simple manufacturing in the name of flavor. In every dish you can find Sicilian tradition. The dish that I point out among others are the tagliatelle with tenerumi swordfish eggs and shrimp, but I do not want to forget the swordfish rolls with a superlative caponata.

15/06/2025: Excellent trattoria located right in the center of Santo Stefano di Camastra, we ordered a very tasty and flavorful grilled fish, you can feel that it is fresh, excellent service, I had a good time as well as the environment, I recommend you go there.

29/06/2025: Great restaurant hidden in one of the streets of Catania, with a cute garden inside. Perfect place for seafood fans, many different dishes in the menu. We've had a fun date in a quiet restaurant with delicious pasta and seafood we won't forget for a long time.

19/06/2025: Fantastic experience, reasonable prices for the quality of the raw materials, the linguine with garlic, oil and shrimp are one of the best first courses of my life. The tuna sample was delicious. The wait was quite long but to eat like this I can accept it. Highly recommended

02/07/2025: The pizzas are really very good, and the location on the beach with the view of the islands is outstanding. However, I was completely dissatisfied with the spaghetti alle vongole. It was clearly undercooked, just soft enough not to break. It was also quite bland and far too expensive, especially considering the very small portion. The good reviews for this restaurant all refer to the pizzas. Be careful with the other dishes.
