26/08/2025: I'm giving it 3 stars because, unfortunately, the wait was the downside. On the plus side, the management communicated it upon our arrival, so we were partly aware of it. But two hours for a fish sandwich is way too long. The quality of the food was excellent, the octopus sandwich was really good, but overall, everything was a bit fancy, starting with the price. By the end of the evening, I felt more like I was in Milan than Lampedusa.

18/08/2025: I'm staying in the building next door (40 steps away) to the food truck. I ask for two sandwiches to go and they tell me they're already full and can't do takeout. So I ask if there are any free tables and they tell me yes. I say I'll order two sandwiches and when they arrive I'll take them to my apartment to eat with another couple of friends who didn't want a sandwich, obviously paying the price. They tell me that it's not possible anyway. Besides not understanding what I wanted to explain—that I would always get two sandwiches, whether I ate there or at my place 40 meters away—the owner gets annoyed, accusing me of this and finally kicks me out rudely, pointing me out in front of the customers. I hope that when she reads the review, she'll be able to clarify my banal point and realize how bad she made a fool of herself. But from the few words we exchanged, I think it's pretty impossible to explain to a mule. I'll be without a fish sandwich, thanks! Oh, I saved €48 for two sandwiches I would have eaten at home, maybe I should thank you.

27/06/2025: Nico was our waiter and he was THE BEST! Very attentive, helpful, funny, a lovely person! He does his job with all his heart. But then, the best thing was I’m yet to come: the pizza! OMG, you can tell it’s not a regular pizza! He ordered a Burrata and a Stuzzicotto. They were amazing - the burrata was soft and tasteful and the stuzzicotto was basically all the meat they have and they were all very good. The place is in the Main Street of the neighborhood and the sunset with the Mountain View was just wonderful. Prices are also very fair. If you are in doubt if you should come: just come! You won’t be disappointed!!

15/06/2025: Great restaurant with Italian food and typical Sicilian dishes, large selection of dishes so everyone can find something for themselves, very professional and friendly service. I recommend visiting :)

04/09/2025: Fantastic pizza, the owners and staff are extremely helpful and attentive to every request, even if it's outside of the menu. They're also child-friendly. I assure you, given the amount of work they do, it's not easy to have all this.

08/09/2025: Don't be fooled by the truly charming location, but the waiters are inattentive and/or lack even the most basic foundations of restaurant hospitality. The prices are exorbitant for questionable dishes. We ordered two squid ink risottos with sea urchins (a whopping €30 each), and within about five minutes, we were served a pre-cooked risotto with zero flavor! Needless to say, it wasn't added to our bill (it seems the least we could do). Since we only ordered a taste, I'll draw a veil over the other orders. In San Vito lo Capo, there are places that offer very respectable menus. Not recommended!

19/08/2025: On my way back from the Valley of the Temples, I happened to stop in Canicattì and ate the best gelato of my vacation. The best zuppa inglese of my life!!!!!!

27/07/2025: I recommend stopping in Canicattì and stopping at the Parnaso café to enjoy gratins, croissants (filled freshly with their products), ice cream, and much more. Everything is artisanal and top-quality. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the location is truly unique.

13/09/2025: A fixed-menu fish dinner for €30 per person, including wine, dessert, and liqueur. The freshest fish is caught that morning at the port, perfectly cooked, enhancing the flavor without weighing it down. The service is friendly and courteous, making you feel at home. Truly a wonderful fish dinner, worth trying again and again.

10/09/2025: A very charming place with incredibly friendly and attentive service. The food is first-rate. A friend recommended it to us, made a reservation for us, and told us we'd love it! And so it was! I recommend it to everyone; it's a wonderful experience.

05/09/2025: At Carlotta in Villa, we had one of the best pizzas of the season: crispy and fluffy, made with a dough made with stone-ground flour and no yeast, making it extremely light and easy to digest. Excellent, high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended. We'll be back to try the couscous, another of the restaurant's signature dishes. The service was excellent, and the owners were extremely kind and welcoming.

01/09/2025: If there were a chance to give it a 10, I would. I've never eaten such good fish in my life, and I'm not exaggerating. Everything is fresh, plentiful, and affordable. A large quantity of food for excellent quality. I recommend it to anyone passing through. Plus, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and very kind. It was a real pleasure coming here.

03/08/2025: Exceptional! A real pleasure for the palate. All dishes are prepared with quality raw materials and chef Roberto is a true master in the kitchen. Seafood salad, fried calamari, spaghetti with clams, mussels, swordfish, whatever dish you choose you will not be disappointed. Compliments to Claudia, a true "hostess". We will definitely return as soon as possible.

25/08/2025: The worst carbonara you'll ever eat. A runny egg. Even the waiter who took the plate away made a strange face when he saw it. It was so crowded with locals, and that's what makes you mistaken. Don't fall for it.

24/08/2025: Simple and friendly atmosphere. Dedicated customer service team to ensure a great time. Located close to the neighborhood's lively scene but slightly set back for a bit of peace and quiet.

05/08/2025: We celebrated our son's baptism and first birthday here at Corte Riggio. We couldn't have made a better choice...we received compliments from everyone on the location, but especially on the food and top-notch organization! We also chose the entertainment and DJ they recommended...and they were brilliant!!! And Agata also for the cake stand setup; very kind, very good! The owner was always attentive and present throughout the event, extremely kind and helpful with everything! We were truly satisfied with everything! So we highly recommend Corte Riggio! If we have other opportunities, we will definitely be back!

18/08/2025: Family evening... Welcoming, tidy location, with both indoor and outdoor dining. All the staff were friendly and smiling, from the request to change the number for the table reservation to the service in the dining room. You can book both by phone (I can assure you they'll call you back if they miss a call) and through the Google portal. As for the food, everything was perfect! From the appetizer to the first courses, main courses, and dessert! All the ingredients were high-quality, and the fried food wasn't soaked in oil; instead, it was dry, crispy, and delicious. It's also ideal for those with celiac disease and therefore gluten intolerance or allergies, and I can confirm this because one of my guests is celiac and, in addition to eating very well, had no problems either during or after dinner. The quality-price ratio was average. Overall, I would gladly return if I lived in Sicily, and I'll definitely visit them again when I return to the province. Ideal for a group evening with friends or family, but also for couples. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thanks for the evening!!
