We ate divinely! The pasta alla norma was exceptional, and the deconstructed cannoli was unforgettable. The service was welcoming and knowledgeable, and the quality/price ratio was excellent. It was the best place we ate during our long holiday in Sicily!

Spent a week in Sicily in October 2025 and ate somewhere different every day for lunch and dinner. Calura was probably our favourite lunch restaurant of the week. There was nobody else eating there when we wandered in which can make you wonder if there’s a reason why… Needn’t have worried. The staff were lovely, the freshly cooked pasta was delicious. There is no wine list - just one white and one red. The white was a lovely grillo. Perfect. This is an unpretentious family restaurant that does what it does perfectly. Sitting under the mulberry tree in the shade eating fresh pasta and drinking chilled grillo. What more do you need?

Everything was excellent! The atmosphere was quaint, the food was fantastic (both the artisanal pasta and the grilled meat), and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. A rare and unexpected touch was the owner welcoming us to the table and explaining the menu. It was certainly one of the best meats we've eaten in the area. We'll definitely be back!

It's always nice to come here and enjoy these meat specialties. Relaxing atmosphere, under the mulberry trees. Pleasant for couples and families, or for spending time with friends.
