08/05/2025: Informal place, top quality products. There is a lot of knowledge behind the choice of meat. If you want to take the meat home, the butcher's shop is there for that too. Too bad we didn't discover it sooner!!! See you soon and thanks.

28/04/2025: Butcher's shop with tables where you can sit and enjoy the various cuts of meat, which are exceptional!!! Excellent wines and super comfortable environment!!!

31/05/2025: We really enjoyed visiting La Caravella while on holiday in Taormina. Our hotel recommended it to us and arranged for their shuttle to come and collect us. This was great as we later found out that taxis to go down the hill from La Taormina are extremely expensive. We were very warmly greeted and offered a pick of sun loungers. This excellent service continued all day, with the waiters and beach boys quick to offer any help or service you required. The beach is stony with small pebbles so bring water shoes or flip flops. This place is clean and well maintained but does not have the glossy chic ( or cost!) of some fancy beach bars which are perhaps for younger people more interested in a party vibe, but the service and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. A great team of people supervised by a hands-on, friendly proprietor. The highlight of the day was the food. Julio recommended the daily specials on both of our visits, and both were outstanding. They have a very talented chef for sure. I have never tasted tuna steak so moist and flavoursome. The pasta with fresh anchovies prepared Sicilian style was also delicious. There are also much plainer offerings on the menu. The shuttle bus returned us to our hotel at the end of the day. Thoroughly enjoyable day and I highly recommend.

29/05/2025: Silvia and Eusebio are fantastic, especially Silvia. I ate everything! And with great taste! Truly exceptional everything from the bread to the tartare, the fresh tasty and well-seasoned meat, I will return with my father! Highly recommended

28/05/2025: Really great meat! We took two fillets, one with apples and one with herbs, with two different cooking methods. Very nice restaurant, in the center of Catania. Good value for money. Very kind and welcoming owner!

25/05/2025: We went in two, busiate alla trapanese very good, ditto for the tagliolini with squid ink with stracciatella and shrimp tartare. For the second course we ordered a soup. Unfortunately everything was slightly too salty, the soup was very salty. Overall the quality of the ingredients was excellent and the taste of the fish delicate. Excellent service, very friendly

29/05/2025: Great food, beautiful terrace on the harbor....but the view is embarrassing, the buildings and boats in the harbor are dilapidated. The service is pretentious but a bit arrogant. It seems like they are doing you a favor by serving you...

27/05/2025: This was the best meal we had in all of Sicily! We had the parmesan crisp with artichokes and potatoes as an appetizer, and for our meal we had black cod, sea bream with lemon, and black Angus burger. We also asked if they would make a spaghetti with olive oil and garlic dish for us to share (so simple but so delicious). If I was staying here another night, we would come back as we wanted to try the platter of fried fish and meat that we saw every table getting!

20/05/2025: I went here in April 2025 for dinner. I did not know that the restaurants in Sicily don't open until 7p.m., so different than USA. The seafoods I ordered was okay. It's actually kinda bland for me. The mixed vegetables were a little bitter for my taste. Both seafoods and veggies were grilled. Kind of bland for me. I use lots of herbs and spices when I cook my foods. The meat that the other customers ordered looked good though; maybe I should have ordered that instead. However, I just wanted to try the seafoods because they're close to the ocean and I don't eat those often back in our country. The cafe latte tasted awesome! The service was okay; nothing so special but I still gave tip. Welcoming place. I kind of did not like though when men were standing outside the entrance. I think they're chatting and smoking while standing out there that night. It made me feel uncomfortable as they looked at me when I went out.

15/05/2025: Courtesy and hospitality, in a certainly pleasant environment. The menu is a bit limited, the beef carpaccio with artichokes is good and the mussels with pepper is excellent. The first courses need to be reviewed, spaghetti with fennel was too crowded for me, gnocchi with calamari was tasty but a bit overcooked and, at least for my taste, with too much tomato sauce. The homemade lemon granita was very good.

10/05/2025: Tortino appetizer was incredible!! Must try. Very solid pasta dishes and tasty mains. Great local wine selection. Friendly, helpful staff. Be careful on the stairs!!

29/05/2025: Avis mitigé. Lieu vraiment très sympa ! Accueil très agréable mais service limite sympa. Cocktail à 12 euros. Les classics à 8 euros. Bref... on ne reviendra pas alors que nous sommes plusieurs jours à Syracuse.

28/05/2025: Wow, best negroni I've ever had. The bruschetta with burrata, honey and truffle is incredible, must try! So good we came twice in 3 days.

27/05/2025: 5 stars deserves it all!! We celebrated my baby's baptism everything was really very nice and elegant at the same time, our menu included fried appetizers and pizza. (tasty good pizza) their wood-fired oven in sight is wonderful 🤩 A thank you goes to Mr. LA ROSA and the staff because finding kind and helpful people today is not easy. I RECOMMEND GOING TO EAT AT GRACE RESTAURANT.

10/05/2025: This place have the best bakeries and the creamiest gelato ever! I’ve trued several things in the assortment and everything is of superb quality. The staff is extremely nice and the have one excellent employee who speaks perfect english!

17/05/2025: Disappointing experience. We waited a long time for 2 dishes, in a place that presents itself as high-level but does not live up to its promises. The prices are outrageous: 6 or 10 euros for just two pieces of sushi, without the quality justifying the cost. I expected to eat quality fished salmon and not farmed. Nothing special in short. The only positive note is the very particular dishes and red prawns, but everything else does not hold up to the price requested. Cover charge at 4 euros per person and an atmosphere that, in my opinion, is quite common and overrated.
