05/01/2026: It's been years since I've had lunch at a trattoria. The food and staff are exquisite, especially for those who aren't privy to luxury and are looking for local, authentic, home-cooked food. The dining room is a bit cramped, but that's what trattorias are all about. I promised myself I'd return!

07/12/2025: I visited Tratoria Rapisardi yesterday. It has a wonderful family atmosphere. The young owner is a fantastic guy.

13/03/2026: The hotel itself is located in the center. Therefore, I do not advise you to go there by car - you will get tired. The center of Palermo, especially during peak hours, is something with something.. in places more complicated than Milan. (By the way, it is the TCL zone) As for the hotel - a good location for walks, pleasant service at the reception. As for the restaurant-bar service, it is better not to go there, unless you want to spoil your mood.

05/03/2026: A pleasant corner with plenty of outdoor tables. Prices are higher, but it's worth sitting down and catching your breath. Aperol Spritz 7 euros, small Messina beer 3.5 euros.

05/03/2026: As a Sicilian, I have to say that today, March 5, 2026, the worst bar in all of Sicily. There's nothing else Sicilian at the tables. I feel sorry for Fiorello, who's sanctifying this bar. It must be my impression, sorry.

27/11/2025: I cant leave review on their food as the restaurant was closed, the resturant hasn't bothered to update their Google operating hours.. we have travelled from Taormina thinking to check the beautiful view enjoy good after, but we were left disappointed. We understand that it is off season times ( end of Nov 2025) but at least they should have made an update as there are still people travelling.

08/03/2026: We vent , in 4 adult 2 children, as a family. Children are wellcome. It's a small restaurant , with a lot of variety of 🍕 pizzas, others dishes as well. Atmosphere is same as you bring, actually better. So - if you are close - reserve a table- be in time- don't miss it..... 😉

17/10/2025: Where you think it's just a dream, it's actually reality. Villa Alba, the tree houses, is a truly splendid place. It feels like a fairytale, the breathtaking sunsets change the scenery every time, all it takes is a cloud and everything takes on a different shape. The kindness and helpfulness... is immense. I've had contact with Mrs. Tiziana, who is extremely kind, courteous, and available, even to grant unexpected wishes. I'm absolutely in love with this place. Highly recommended.

14/10/2025: This is the second time we've been guests at an event at this location... the first was for a wedding, where I was blown away by the beauty and meticulous care of the gardens that served as the backdrop. Eight years later, for a baptism, I noticed that the attention to detail and the location haven't changed (perhaps improved). Everything was perfect, the staff was friendly and attentive. My expectations for the food were high, but they were fully met. What can I say? Overall, in my opinion, Villa Alba is the best place for events and ceremonies right now. Congratulations

18/02/2026: Everything was absolutely delicious, from the initial welcome to the service and the tasting. An excellent place to enjoy excellent meat and delicious appetizers.

01/02/2026: Negative experience. The staff were friendly but unqualified. The wait to order was 40 minutes. I was told the meat weighed about 1.4 kg, but it was actually 800-900 grams maximum. The table, cutlery, and plates were not very clean.

14/02/2026: If you're a tourist with culinary expertise, skip this experience. The food is decent, nothing special, with long waits between courses and very small portions for the price. Regarding the service, they made a mistake; we had a reservation and went outside, and then they came to find us. They corrected it, and we decided to give it a chance. The atmosphere was very cold and austere, which is perhaps the area where they need to improve significantly. What really disappointed us were the excessively expensive and unreasonable drink prices. A glass of wine that was quite bad cost 8 euros, and two beers 10 euros. As a customer, I felt like I was being ripped off, and I wouldn't recommend it for that reason. You leave with the unpleasant feeling of having been cheated.

11/02/2026: I finally found a restaurant that wasn't too salty. It was day four of my trip to Sicily. Almost all the restaurants were salty. This place had a good balance of flavor and was absolutely delicious. The bread was warm and delicious, which was nice. The squid ink appetizer was especially delicious! I really want to eat this again. The shrimp tomato pasta with bisque had a sauce that seemed to contain shrimp head guts. It was rich and delicious. I usually don't like overly rich foods like shrimp, crab guts, and sea urchin, but the balance was perfect, so it didn't feel greasy. Plus, the wine paired with it was refreshing and delicious, which paired well with the seafood! However, the ragu sauce pasta was average. I'd love to try other dishes, but my Palermo itinerary is over now. I'll visit next time.
