18/06/2025: Recién llegados a Rímini entramos en el restaurante cuando casi iban a cerrar, pero tanto la chica como los dos chicos que regentaban el local, se portaron de maravilla y nos dejaron estar todo el tiempo hasta que terminamos. No habíamos probado nunca una pinsa ni sabíamos qué era. Pues se trata de una evolución de la pizza, con menos masa y un tamaño más pequeño y debemos decir que están riquísimas. Comimos una amatriciana (extraordinaria y picantita) y otra cacio e pepe (buena, pero a años luz de la otra). El postre que nos ofrecieron fue otra sorpresa agradable: unas "pinselle" (pinsas pequeñas) de tiramisú y Nutella. No nos cobraron ni el agua ni el cubierto. Plenamente recomendable.

06/07/2025: Total disappointment: 2 hours of waiting for nothing. Deeply disappointing experience. After arriving and waiting for two hours, we were told that there had been internal problems, understandable, it happens. But the unacceptable came later: despite the apologies, we continued to wait while people who arrived well after us were served. No management of the order of arrival, no attention to the inconvenience caused, no priority given to those who had been waiting for hours. If a place has an unexpected event, the least you can do is try to fix it by giving priority to those who have already waited a long time, not make the situation even worse with disorganization and superficiality. A shame, because we had arrived with great expectations. But after this management, it is difficult to imagine returning and even more difficult to recommend it to others.

10/08/2025: 2025: Everything has changed, banal dishes you can eat anywhere and distorted flavors (for example, too much tomato), swordfish not exactly fresh. It's a shame because last year this restaurant was very promising and could have become a gem. 2024: Very good fish quality. Dishes served with care and friendly staff. Decent wine selection, the insolia a bit modest. The bill was fair. Perhaps I would suggest varying the menu a few dishes or offering at least one dish of the day with fresh fish or seafood, because for a regular dinner it could be repetitive. And I would remove the small, thorny plants that are unsuitable for the table... otherwise, it's a well-kept and elegant little restaurant, both characteristics not always common in Portopalo restaurants.

04/05/2025: Posticino molto carino a due passi dalla Basilica di San Bartolomeo. Pasta al sugo alla norma eccezionale, patelle fritte squisite, personale gentile e disponibile. Appena arrivati a Scicli ci siamo sentiti in Sicilia dopo questo pranzo gustoso e delizioso. Da tornarci!!

16/07/2025: We went to La Scogliera restaurant and were truly satisfied! My wife and I started with a peppered mussel appetizer: flavorful and well-prepared. Next, we ordered two truly excellent first courses. The caserecce verdi with shrimp, pistachio pesto, and zucchini was delicious, with a generous portion and a rich, well-balanced sauce. The seafood spaghetti also won us over: lots of pasta (at least 150g per person) and a generous amount of fish, all fresh and well-cooked. The atmosphere is simple but elegant, with simply set tables and everything very clean. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The bill was in line with the average for restaurants in Siculiana, if not slightly more affordable than other places in the area. In summary: excellent food, generous portions, friendly service, and fair prices. Highly recommended!

08/06/2025: Everything is good from appetizers to desserts. The pizzas are excellent. The first courses are really good. You definitely have to try the margherita alla carrettiera and the spaghetti with anchovies, the spaghetti with mussels and clams. The service is excellent.

26/03/2025: Celebrated a birthday in the past few weeks. The atmosphere was quite dark as far as being able to simply see what was on your plate. Karaoke night, with music so distorted that you couldn't talk to the person sitting next to you because the music was almost deafening. The pizzas finally arrived... and maybe it would have been better if they hadn't arrived. My partner had a pizza with rocket that was yellow and wilted. I had a pizza with sausage and onion that was almost uneatable. The whole table left parts of the pizzas because honestly, between when it was burnt and with poor quality ingredients, you couldn't continue eating them. That said, without music or anything humanly pleasant, the appetizers were decent. They really shot themselves in the foot with the pizzas. I won't be going back, that's for sure. I hope they can only improve, because honestly, it's really hard to go worse than this.

11/07/2025: Sono stata al Crocifisso anticipando tramite mail e telefonicamente che mio marito è celiaco. Ho dato, quindi, un congruo preavviso per organizzarsi per tempo per un menu senza glutine. Duole constatare che tale tempo non è stato bene investito: il menù senza glutine aveva diverse necessarie rivisitazioni (e va bene), ma era manchevole sotto molti punti di vista. Non si può dire al cliente "non abbiamo grissini senza glutine" ed è inaccettabile che il dessert senza glutine si riduca ad una misera selezione di sorbetti. Da uno stellato ci si aspetta un dolce ad hoc, anche in considerazione del fatto che a fine cena abbiamo pagato un menu completo senza alcuno sconto, pur avendo- il menù per celiaco- delle lacune evidenti. A ciò si aggiunga che la temperatura del locale è simil polo nord, sono uscita con il mal di gola pur avendo fatto presente più volte che l'aria condizionata era impostata a temperatura glaciale. La proprietaria mi ha gentilmente prestato una pashmina dicendo che era consapevole, ma mi chiedo come si possa essere consapevoli e non rimediare a monte su tale disagevole condizione. Lo stellato è tale non solo per il cibo in sé ma per l'attenzione agli ospiti, in primis ai celiaci. Tale attenzione non è stata riscontrata dalla sottoscritta e il cibo, buono e ricercato, ma è non tale da far dimenticare le diverse sbavature appena descritte. Non ci ritornerei.

From the impeccable service, knowleable and super friendly staff to the perfectly executed dishes, there was nothing that could have been better during our dinner. I was invited to play here, but once I arrived, I was told at the last minute that I couldn’t perform, with no clear explanation. Considering there was a verbal agreement, I found this behavior unprofessional and disrespectful. It’s a shame, because the neighboring venues were much more welcoming and fair. I’m a musician and I perform in restaurants and venues across Sicily. I was invited to play here, but once I arrived, I was told at the last minute that I couldn’t perform, with no clear explanation. 13/07/2025: Abbiamo partecipato a un evento a Torre Palazzelle e ne siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. La location è mozzafiato: una torre storica immersa nella campagna modicana, perfetta per creare un’atmosfera elegante e autentica. L’organizzazione dell’evento è stata impeccabile. Ogni dettaglio era curato con grande professionalità e passione. Lo staff è stato attento, disponibile e sempre pronto ad accogliere ogni esigenza con un sorriso. Un luogo ideale per matrimoni, feste private o eventi aziendali. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un’esperienza unica in un contesto raffinato e ricco di fascino.
