21/10/2025: Very lively location, by the harbor, yet still avoiding street noise thanks to the double-glazed windows. I could sit for hours and watch the ferries and ships. From the restaurant on the 7th floor, the roof terrace offers a stunning view over the harbor and the Bay of Palermo. We were able to walk to all the attractions in the old town, take the bus to the beach, take the hop-on hop-off bus nearby, and shop and markets were all easily accessible.

01/08/2025: In vacanza a Noto, passando davanti al locale, siamo stati attratti da alcune delle proposte del loro menu, oltre che affascinati dalla vista che il ristorante offriva. Se temete di incappare in uno di quei posti "acchiappaturisti", vi sbagliate. Dall'accoglienza al conto, attenzioni, servizio preciso ma soprattutto cibo di alta qualità. Piatti tipici serviti in maniera semplice ma elegante, quantità decisamente soddisfacenti. Siamo rimasti talmente soddisfatti che qualche sera dopo ci siam tornati. Per nostra esperienza consigliamo : il cous cous con verdure, la caponata, la pasta alla carrettiera, le busiate alla pachinese e il pesce spada alla siciliana. Il titolare estremamente garbato, molto presente durante la cena,piacevole scambiare qualche chiacchierata con lui. Se siete a Noto e volete cenare in un ristorante in pieno centro,fermatevi qui.

21/07/2025: Personale gentilissimo, ma cibo non all’altezza, a parte la quantità troppo misera il sapore….i ravioli di cernia conditi con una salsa che era troppo zuccherata, non si sentiva completamente il sapore della cernia ma solo di zucchero; stessa cosa vale per il tonno in agrodolce…troppo zucchero; ultima noto dolente i prezzi, decisamente troppo alti!

13/09/2025: Poor quality and terrible customer service. I will never go there again. I'm sorry to have to write all this, but I've never been in a situation like this. They wanted to give me focaccia with completely burned edges and insisted it was well done. I can assure you, I know how to distinguish well done from burned (a black edge that is highly carcinogenic). There was no one in the rotisserie, so there was no confusion that could justify this arrogant treatment because I dared ask for a replacement focaccia with edible edges. Finally, the guy forgot to say hello. This shows poor customer service.

In our view, this historic business is one that deserves much more consideration, often even more so than its more recent counterparts. The reasons are simple: we primarily focus on the expertise, availability, and skills of our staff, elements that are the foundation of any business where customer relations are essential. The selection of top-quality products, which must never be lacking, is evident in all the dishes served, from starters like chips to pinsa (a type of pasta), and other dishes. The clean, bright, and distinctive setting creates a pleasant atmosphere and is ideal for a quiet, intimate dinner, but also perfect for small groups, with the small outdoor deck and the indoor dining room that also features a mezzanine with additional seating. We highly recommend this restaurant because there's nothing spectacular about it, and our vision always reflects simplicity, as our readers will have noticed. Although it's a simple sandwich shop, it has the experience to manage the dining room, kitchen, payments, reservations, delivery service, and all the other services of the establishment, which are always under control. This can only lead to positive results, especially considering the politeness and courtesy evident in discussions between staff and customers, which already contributed to much of our absolutely positive rating and represent a recommendation for a normal, yet perfect, experience in our beloved Acireale. 26/10/2025: The food was good overall. The service could be improved a bit, as they're taking care of you while they're on the go. Another thing I didn't agree with was the small piece of food that was passed off as a regular one if you ordered it, but at the counter you get a regular one.

04/10/2025: My husband and I stumbled upon it by chance, and I can't say enough good things about it. The selection of hot food is incredibly delicious and inviting. Even though the place (takeout only) is small, the fast and professional staff manages to keep everything under control with kindness and professionalism. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

13/09/2025: A culinary stroke of luck in the alleys of Licata By a stroke of luck, our search for a good restaurant in the winding alleys of Licata led us to Pepe and Chiara's. We almost didn't get in, as there was a slight misunderstanding with the charming chef, Pepe, at the door – fortunately, everything was quickly and cordially resolved. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a maximum of 20 seats and a lovingly decorated atmosphere that perfectly matches Pepe's creative cuisine. Chiara welcomes guests with a warm, pleasant manner, which further enriches the visit. You can choose between a 4- or 6-course menu – we opted for the 4-course menu, accompanied by an excellent red Syrah. The wine selection is excellent and pairs wonderfully with the dishes. The prices may be high, but the quality and professionalism are well worth it. In the end, we were completely satisfied.
