11/06/2025: Been there with my family to visit the "fattojo", i. e., the place where they show how to make the chocolate from bean to bar. The visit was worth the trip: the two ladies showed us the the process of making the real Modica chocolate, explaining also how to roast, peel and grind the beans...interleaving the experience with sweet treats, from the cold chocolate to the chocolate flavored spirit at the end. Definitely worth visiting!

01/05/2025: Sempre perennemente affollata. Impossibile provare il cioccolato, ma, data la calca di turisti, deve essere acquistato tutto a scatola chiusa. Le tavolette da 50gr vanno approssimativamente dai €2,80 ai €4,40. I tour esperienziali devono essere necessariamente prenotati in anticipo. Buona la cioccolata fredda a €3,50 e la cassatina al pistacchio a €5,50.

06/07/2025: The best rotisserie between Pachino, Marzamemi and Portopalo, everything is delicious, both the arancini and the sfoglia and also the stuffed pizza (votavota/caicca) at any time of the day they continuously churn out all the rotisserie, excellent value for money, top quality products that you can taste and smell, cooked very well, with every bite you savour the true flavours of Sicily, at least the southern part which includes Pachino, Noto, Portopalo and Rosolini.

09/08/2025: The location is ideal and the finds are excellent! The dirty tables and chairs leave much to be desired and are poorly cleaned.

We took a platter to share for 2 to accompany gin and tonic and Negroni.. the portion even if it was for NS shared choice was sufficient and of good quality... Above average. At the cashier, I suppose it was the owner, they applied a small discount that I appreciated as a gesture of kindness... We consumed 2 gin and tonic, 2 Negroni (with Tanqueray) and a platter for 2 for a cost of €54.. discounted €50 I will return. Thank you

Gli antipasti sono un vero trionfo di sapori, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e presentati con cura. I primi piatti sono semplicemente deliziosi: ricchi, equilibrati e cucinati alla perfezione. Ogni portata è stata una piacevole scoperta. Servizio attento e cortese, atmosfera accogliente. Torneremo sicuramente alla prima occasione!

I go in to ask for a sandwich and the young lady takes the sliced ​​meat with her hands, I asked for tongs or gloves and the young lady calls the owner who, with a haughty and annoying manner, scolds me for having called the delicatessen, inviting me to never go to her bakery again. There was no need, I will never set foot in there again. I add a reply, laugh away... unfortunately for you I am not the only one to know your kindness, evidently... It doesn't matter whether I am Roman, Milanese or French, I have nothing to hide, it's just the email, I already told her to her face what I think.. Next time use the tongs and be kind to customers.

21/06/2025: It doesn't always have to be pizza. The beef fillet with Gorgonzola sauce and fine fried potatoes is a real treat, served with a mixed salad and a panna cotta to finish. Buonissimo 😋
