14/05/2025: Chocolate means pampering yourself, relaxing, dedicating some time to yourself to recover from stressful days. When you cross the threshold of this place the furnishings take you back to a time when stress was unknown and the hours seemed to go more slowly. This can still happen by treating yourself to a break with friends in front of a wonderful sacher and a coffee or a very hot chocolate with a dollop of cream that seems to resemble the nearby Etna volcano with its snow-capped peak. Recommended for moments of relaxation between women...

02/06/2025: We have just returned from an unforgettable holiday in Selinunte, at the Hotel Miramare Garzia! Our stay was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the warm welcome of the owner Beja and the professionalism of her son Alessandro and the very friendly and hospitable Vincenzo. The hotel is delightful, with comfortable and clean rooms, and a breathtaking view of the sea. But what made our holiday truly special was the family and welcoming atmosphere that Beja and Alessandro were able to create. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh and local products, and the location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the beauties of Selinunte. We can only thank them for their hospitality and for making our holiday so special. If you are looking for a place to relax and feel at home, the Hotel Miramare Garzia is absolutely the right place!"

04/05/2025: I discovered this place because it was the only one still open for lunch at 3pm. At that time it was (rightly) only possible to order arancini and sandwiches, but that's all we wanted. In our lack of alternative we were lucky! I really loved the sandwich I got, and the same for the ricotta cannoli we treated ourselves to at the end! The staff were helpful and friendly, I absolutely recommend going there!

17/06/2025: €25 per night with a campervan, including water and waste disposal, toilets, and hot showers. Free shuttle to the beach. A bit noisy due to the proximity to the road. Friendly staff.

15/06/2025: Simple area but with everything you need. Not very large pitches but you can open the awning and eat there. PROS Clean and functional services, the showers are very large and you can easily change inside. Everything works with the electronic key provided during check-in. Easy and clean camper service. There is a shuttle service to the beach, very convenient. Nice and welcoming managers. Fantastic view of the sea. Excellent prices. In low season, the camper with all the equipment, electricity, showers included 20 euros per night. Super convenient location for the Scala dei Turchi and nearby beaches, a stone's throw from the pizzeria, restaurant and bar. CONS lack of shade, during the day it is unbearable to stay in the camper because it is completely exposed to the sun (in the evening however the fresh air rises from the sea and you sleep divinely), but it is certainly not a fault of the manager

08/05/2025: Incredible dinner at this lovely family- run restaurant on a beautiful hilltop in Vulcano Island. The food is prepared by a 3rd generation family with traditional Sicilian recipes using only the freshest local ingredients. The wine list reflects local and other Sicilian wines, the dining room is warm and inviting, and we had such a special evening dining here. We had an antipasto platter, homemade pasta and rabbit prepared in Sicilian style. Every dish was both beautiful and delicious! The family were very helpful in choosing wine to complement our meal. We really enjoyed our experience here. We actually returned to take a cooking class a few days later, which was an incredible experience! We highly recommend the restaurant and cooking class for a special taste of the culture on Vulcano.

07/06/2025: The place is not suitable for celiacs, despite the many days' notice they can't even offer a simple fried potato chip, they don't have gluten-free beer, the owner refused to cut the pizza, with the cutting board and it was impossible to cut it with the knife, so he was very rude and angry in doing so, it was enough to simply wash the crescent. Despite all this, they increased the price, compared to the group. If you have three-year-old children, they pay as much as an adult but oopsss... even if they haven't eaten anything.

06/05/2025: Invited to dinner by friends. I must say that we had a good dinner. Quiet environment, very friendly staff. One flaw in the menu was that I didn't find grilled vegetables and berries for the panna cotta. For the rest nothing to complain about. The prices? I didn't pay. Medium-high range anyway. We were 4 adults and 2 kids.
