But events and exhibitions are also organized and on Mondays, every 2 weeks, it becomes the meeting place of a small international community to play chess while enjoying a good tea.

24/04/2025: Absolutely Amazing Experience at Enoteca! Enoteca is a gem that truly delivers an authentic taste of Italy. The menu offers a fantastic variety of Sicilian and Tuscan dishes, each one bursting with flavor. The bruschetta and the cheese & meat platter were unrealistically delicious — every bite was a highlight. The cheese selection was particularly impressive, with both hard goat cheese and creamy Gorgonzola stealing the show. We simply asked for a wine that would complement our food, and the wine expert nailed it with a perfect pairing. The atmosphere was elevated by pleasant background music and warm, friendly service throughout the evening. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in true Italian cuisine, Enoteca is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Excellent selection of wines passionately recommended by the owner and truly special dishes: Sicilian orange salad with capers, onion and tuna, and an incredible sandwich with donkey mortadella, Sicilian lemons and chopped pistachios. 11/05/2025: I entered the restaurant “A maidda” by chance because I didn’t know it had reopened and I discovered that you can have the pleasure of eating there only on weekends. The place is suggestive and very romantic! I had the orecchiette scented with fennel… Amazing dish… Impeccable cooking and delicate and tasty fennel cream. The chef who is also the owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable as well as very kind and friendly and the staff is very kind and very friendly He explained to us that the menu varies according to seasonal products. I also learned that the place offers experiences and culinary journeys of a certain depth. I promised myself to return more often!

26/04/2025: We had dinner here on a Saturday night and had a very good meal. Well-prepared traditional local foods, excellent flavors and very inviting combinations. The appetizer is highly recommended. Very friendly staff, particular place with some tables inside a small cave. Absolutely recommended!

02/05/2025: We reached Favara coming from Agrigento, attracted by the Cultural Park. The trip was already in itself an immersion in nature which comes to life in spring and offers all its colors and scents. The chosen day did not favor a large influx of tourism and we were able to enjoy all the beauty of the widespread artistic forms found in the recovered part of the town. This alone would have been joy enough to take home as a souvenir of the day. The stop at this trattoria-restaurant was the classic icing on the cake. With sincerity I must say that the choice was made almost out of obligation, as there aren't many options in the surrounding area....but as soon as we entered, we were welcomed with a kindness that warms the heart. The owner personally took care of us by offering us tastings of local oil while waiting for the dishes ordered, he left us in our conversations and with our times even though we were close to their closing and moreover at the end he further honored us with almonds and local liqueur. Truly a pleasure to discover that there are still such places and people who put customer satisfaction first and feel the responsibility to offer the maximum of their culinary skills and product quality to those who sit at the table. We really worked hard to extend this feeling of pleasant pause to the maximum, and in return he also offered us some fruit, confirming everything said above. I therefore conclude with thanks for this holistic well-being that has been offered to us.

24/04/2025: Do you remember the rat named Remy from Ratatouille? An influential food critic, whose one review is enough to force the restaurant to close, raves about the dishes prepared by Remy the rat :) Just as we raved about the linguine agli scampi, cavatelli alla cavour and Mandrarosa wine at this restaurant. Delicious food that you won't find in many fine dining restaurants. It is difficult to get here because the traffic in the city is complicated. But it's really worth finding this place, with a less than effusive and even reserved owner.
