08/06/2026: Mind you, this is a hotel!! There are about four rooms arranged in a terraced layout below the restaurant. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't inform us that an event with approximately 60-70 people was taking place there on Sunday, and that what felt like 50 children, playing and screaming loudly, not only used the upper levels for several hours, but also our garden served as a playground for teenagers playing with puppets and children playing ball. Breakfast was precisely portioned and wrapped in cling film. Each person received a yogurt, three small slices of bread, one croissant, three slices of cheese, three slices of mortadella, and some prosciutto (Crudo). Cappuccino and water were also provided. No fruit, no sweets, muesli, or anything similar. Dinner is in the higher price range; only the pizzas, while comparatively cheaper, weren't really up to par with what we'd had elsewhere on our trip. ... Only Italian is spoken, and on the last day the coffee machine wasn't working because someone urgently needed the cable for the party on Sunday. All in all, not a recommended place.

10/06/2026: Carefully prepared and refined cuisine, impeccable service, excellent wines, and traditional desserts. The mussel soup is exquisite and truly extraordinary, and the sea bass marinated in Vernaccia is excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

18/05/2026: A beautiful little gem in the heart of Cuglieri. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and received a very warm welcome. We can highly recommend this restaurant, and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

27/04/2026: Meridiana is a small restaurant nestled in the historic center of Cuglieri. The atmosphere is simple yet very welcoming, warm, and familiar. The dishes are excellent, prepared with high-quality local ingredients. The flavors are superb. Special mention goes to the young woman who served us throughout the dinner. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

22/11/2025: If I were to rate the food, my review would be positive. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately assaulted by the waitress, the irritable blonde, for arriving slightly early for our reservation. Okay, we swallowed and waited patiently outside in the cold. Once seated at our table, we were served by two waitresses, one truly friendly and nice, the other decidedly rude, surly, and very annoyed. Her rudeness and impatience turned what should have been a pleasant evening into one to forget. Paying customers shouldn't be treated that way. But even worse was that, after we pointed out to the waitress her terrible attitude toward us, she pretended to be completely taken aback. This job is tiring and understandable, like all jobs, but if you completely lack empathy, perhaps it would be best to consider changing careers.

28/03/2026: Found by chance while passing through Oristano. A pleasant surprise. The celery and bottarga were delicious. Linguine with red shrimp and its zucchini and tomato bisque were superb. The linguine with wild asparagus and bottarga were very good. The prices were fair, the service took a bit long, but it was worth the wait.

15/06/2026: We ate there last night, it was delicious! The welcome was impeccable, the service excellent, and of course the food (and wine) was fantastic. Go without hesitation!

25/07/2026: We were looking for a restaurant to eat fish and they gave us this name saying they had eaten by the sea, looking at the reviews they spoke well of it, and from some photos you could see the sea in the background... when we called we didn't understand why on one side it mentioned Cabras and on the other another town, but with the same phone number, we booked and went to Cabras following the maps directions. Once outside the restaurant in advance we looked for the sea... But the sea was not there... So much so that we began to doubt whether we had booked in the wrong restaurant... but no... the restaurant was right but... only once inside... since at the next table another couple of diners also asked where the terrace overlooking the sea was because they had also seen those images, it was explained to us that that was another restaurant now closed... (too bad we all wanted that one)... anyway, despite the start full of doubts, even if a little old-fashioned, the place was pleasant. We had a seafood tasting, with six tastings of each course, and some truly delicious seafood macaroni, rich in seafood and flavor. To finish, two desserts, also very good. Despite the lack of a sea view, I would return for the food and the service, with very kind and professional waitresses. I usually take photos, but this time I forgot; I just ate.

Unfortunately, today we found it to be a tired place, with barely decent appetizers, and spaghetti with clams and bottarga, with the starters being few and tiny, and barely a trace of minced bottarga, all drowned in oil from at least two years ago!! REALLY DISAPPOINTING
