04/12/2025: What can I say about the Basilica of Saint Helena that hasn't already been said? I simply invite you to visit it during the Christmas season, in the evening, and enjoy its baroque beauty, the lights, and the simultaneously sacred and festive atmosphere. "Paris is well worth a Mass," someone said, but our Basilica is no exception ;)

12/03/2026: Three of us stopped by for lunch. A quick break. We enjoyed two rib-eye menus and a burger menu. They were really good, nice and large, with generous sides. The meat was very tender and delicious. The staff was kind and available for any request. Highly recommended.

12/03/2026: We've been coming here for years but today I had something different, a hamburger and fries, good, good, good, completely satisfied.

03/03/2026: I give it two stars because 50 euros per person seems excessive to me for a seafood starter (a bit of octopus, a bit of cuttlefish and 20 mussels), a first course of spaghetti with clams and bottarga, and a quarter of house wine to drink. For the rest, the location and service are ok.

07/03/2026: Highly not recommended: the food was terrible, I just hope I don't get sick. The sushi was truly disgusting, the tuna carpaccio had a truly questionable flavor. The rolls and tempura looked like leftovers (most likely they were). There was a piece of steel in the sorbet, most likely a sponge used to clean the machine... P.S. The sorbets tasted like ice and nothing else, the consistency was terrible (even the crème brûlée). €18.90 for the menu, spend €3 more and eat somewhere decent...

26/01/2026: Excellent place, good food, and an extraordinarily wide selection for all tastes. The freshly cooked fish is also excellent.

05/10/2025: A very welcoming place in the city center. The owner, Silvia, and all the staff are very friendly, making you feel at ease and offering excellent suggestions on what to order. The spritz and drinks menu is very varied and original. I absolutely recommend going there!

24/02/2026: Christian Collu has created a truly enchanting place with Machrì al Mare. Directly opposite the 1000-year-old pilgrimage church of Sant Efisio, a culinary epicenter for Pula has emerged. On one side, a pizzeria and café; on the other, creative fine dining just shy of Michelin-starred status. Enjoy sea views from the terrace on one side and views of the lagoon and the mountain range on the other. The decor is stylish and tasteful, though the visual and acoustic separation between the kitchen and service areas could use some improvement. The cuisine is creative and showcases the full spectrum of new, fresh Sardinian dishes. A must-try!

26/10/2025: Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. We ate a delicious mullet carpaccio with bottarga, followed by black rice with octopus flavored with fish broth. Perfect flavors from start to finish. A lime sorbet to finish. A very generous limoncello spritz. 2 glasses of a local white wine full of character. Everything is just right in the flavors and cooking. All for 70 euros per person, which seemed justified to us.

Monica welcomed us like old friends, her smile and professionalism have become rare qualities... well done, and thank you 🙏❣! The quality of the food on our plates, served by a sweet angel named Claudia, was top-notch... everything strictly local... "10 out of 10"! Entering the courtyard and the restaurant is a feast for the eyes. Wherever you look, it's like walking through a museum. In fact, to be honest, it's truly a museum created with so much love and devotion by a family that cares deeply about the historical preservation of this ancestral land! Two magnificent cats will welcome you 🐈😍! We will definitely come back to you, great team, well done girls, keep it up 💪🏻👏🏻👍🏻🤩!

02/11/2025: Delicious food, clean and welcoming room. The staff was wonderful! Arriving and feeling at home! Something unique! There's also a family museum (an old, wealthy local family. Very old objects that bring those historical periods to life).

28/08/2025: We booked a natural wine tasting which turned out to our pleasant surprise to be private. Accommodated also our dog. The wines were immaculate, carefully chosen by the more than knowledgable sommelier. The tasting was very personable, of very high quality. We also got a lot of recommendations for other places in Italy. We did not make a reservation for a dinner but they made a space for us on the bar. Food outstanding but the star really was the staff and their recommendations. Incredibly memorable experience. Thank you so much!!!! We are eager to make another trip nearby to come again!

16/02/2026: It's time to edit my original review after yet another satisfying experience at Su Stabi. My wife and I usually come here for their pizza, but this time sampled their seafood dishes. We were a party of 4, as we had lunch with a couple of friends and shared clams with artichokes and bottarga, orziadas fritters, spaghetti with lobster in a creamy fresh tomato sauce and homemade fish dumplings in a mussels' sauce. We finished off our meal with a grilled cuttlefish that was cooked to perfection. The food was incredibly good and satisfying, not surprisingly, since they are always very attentive to quality, and served with the right timing. A special praise goes to their staff, who's very professional yet sufficiently laid-back to make you feel at ease, like if you were at home. They provide recommendations and suggestions on what to eat and ensure you get a flawless experience. A place to visit regularly. Very good pizza and friendly service. Highly recommended!
