12/08/2025: Consigliato da amici stasera abbiamo cenato da antica Cagliari: fin dall’ingresso ci è stata riservata un’accoglienza formale ma spiritosa, facendoci sentire sempre ospiti graditi. Abbiamo optato per l’antipasto degustazione di mare rimanendo veramente a bocca aperta per la bontà delle portate(il guazzetto dell’impepata di cozze qualcosa di unico, per non parlare del gusto del polpo), dopo siamo andati avanti con gli spaghetti vongole e bottarga(cottura perfetta della pasta e sughetto da leccarsi i baffi) e i tagliolini Neri cozze e asparagi di mare, spettacolari. Solo per la generosità delle portate non siamo riusciti a proseguire con il secondo, ma data la qualità delle materie prime avremmo provato volentieri la grigliata di pesce mista, Che sicuramente torneremo a provare. I dolci anche fantastici, la seadas veramente spaziale. Location bellissima e molto elegante. Menzione di merito per Mauro, che con la sua professionalità(grande aiuto nella scelta del vino con consigli presiosi) ed il suo modo di fare simpaticissimo ha reso la serata ancora più piacevole. Consigliamo vivamente questo ristorante a chi vuole mangiare l’autentica cucina sarda o dell’ottimo l’esce fresco. Sicuramente torneremo, posto veramente ottimo. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente

11/08/2025: "Antica Cagliari" mi è stato consigliato da mio cognato che ha vissuto a Cagliari molti anni. Nel complesso l'esperienza culinaria è stata buona: fregola e spaghetti alle vongole soddisfacenti. Attenzione alle bevande: né l'acqua né il calice di vino bianco erano sufficientemente freschi. Devo rilevare che nonostante la prenotazione alle 21.30 e il nostro ingresso in ristorante in perfetto orario, abbiamo atteso quasi 15 minuti in un corridoio all'ingresso dove c'è un notevole andirivieni di camerieri e di persone che devono pagare il conto, tra l'altro nonostante vedessi parecchi tavoli vuoti. Il posto destinato all'attesa del tavolo è quindi veramente infelice. Una volta accomodati, in un tavolo nella prosecuzione del corridoio, abbiamo notato che faceva caldo e a quanto pare è un problema di quella parte del ristorante, visto che nelle altre sale si stava meglio. In quaranta minuti abbiamo cenato (solo il primo piatto) e i camerieri sono stati attenti e gentili. Conto nella norma. Qualcosina, secondo me, può migliorare!

16/07/2025: Perfect service and excellent food: the waiter helped us choose our dishes and gave excellent advice, very kind and friendly. We chose the tasting menu, which included several dishes, all very unique, with unexpected and delicious pairings. Eating like this is a real pleasure. Highly recommended!

30/04/2025: Terrible place to eat, hot food, very salty beef stew, packaged polenta cut into slices and heated a lot, I had to wait a long time for it to cool down, inedible, French fries in a bag from the market, quality 0, then I asked for a medium rare steak, and it was rare! The waitress never came to our table to ask if everything was okay, terrible service, not even half a smile, sour, help... never again!!!!

05/04/2025: A good spaghetti with sea urchins and a good spaghetti with bottarga and clams served at 3pm. Nice and professional waitress. Some of the staff sitting at the table spoke in a slightly loud voice with a few too many swear words. Not too gallant with a few sissies at the tables.

14/08/2025: Every course was a wow...actually, a whoop!! The favorite of all...the fregola (damn, the photo doesn't do it justice, so I won't upload it). An incredible explosion of flavors! All the freshest ingredients, flavors, and contrasts. The outdoor setting is pleasant, soft, well-lit, and furnished. Highly recommended. The only drawback (the reason for the missing star) is the time.... 10 minutes on the clock for someone to come and take your order, another 10 minutes (after requesting) for the bread (by the way....so good in its various shapes and flours!!!!!) and water. In short, after 1 hour and 15 minutes, only the fregola arrived. We booked at 9:30 PM (the place was full, and they deserved it), and left at 11:15 PM with 1 first course and 2 second courses. Too much, even though you should enjoy your vacation without rushing, you can't just feel the need to stretch your legs.

12/08/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant wasn't a positive one. The atmosphere is very pleasant and well-maintained, but the service is practically non-existent. The waiters are curt and stern. I even asked for more wine to be added to my glass, and was very rudely told that was the amount for one glass. I would have appreciated it if they'd accommodated my request, or at most if they'd added a surcharge to the wine price! Plus, the wait for dishes was incredibly long... Regarding the quality of the food, there's nothing to complain about.

14/08/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by this Trattoria in Cagliari: without hesitation, one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever eaten at, and with exceptional value for money! We enjoyed mussels marinière in tomato sauce as well as squid ink tagliatelle and fresh fried calamari... a pure delight, perfectly cooked and delicious in every bite. The service was impeccable, warm and attentive, making our lunch even more enjoyable. A place to recommend with your eyes closed!

21/08/2025: Didn't stay at the hotel, but the restaurant's food is truly excellent. Sardinia from the heart. Monica is picturesque, with a team that reflects her and is very kind, surrounded by a centuries-old olive tree and a beautiful setting. Exceptional products and the best cuglugriones of our stay. A wonderful time and a wonderful memory.

20/08/2025: A wonderful, rural, and generous welcome! Monica speaks every language in the world: hospitality! The restaurant's concept: a table-served meal with 4/6 courses is a must-experience!

27/08/2025: We stayed in this wonderful hotel the week after Ferragosto... What can I say? Everything was perfect!! Starting with the owners, who are disarmingly kind, and the same can be said of all the staff, who are efficient and beyond courteous. The rooms are comfortable and super clean, and the restaurant/pizzeria stands out for its excellent value. We highly recommend it!

27/08/2025: A well-kept hotel with exceptional and helpful staff. The rooms are spotless, and not only that, the linens are changed every day. The bar and restaurant are top-notch, and you can tell you put your heart and soul into it.

26/08/2025: Following all the positive reviews, we came to dine at this restaurant and it was indeed a very nice experience! We ate very well, the dishes are delicious and very generous. We had pizzas, seafood pasta and tiramisus, everything was perfect. The welcome was warm and the service very good. One of the best Sardinian restaurants we have been to! I highly recommend this place!

05/05/2025: Con il mio compagno son sempre andata in questo locale per anniversari e compleanni,una coccola che ci concediamo in un locale speciale,dove tutto viene cucito con amore e maestria.La pasta fresca è strabiliante,non può essere descritta ma solo,assaporata,così come i dolci favolosi e gli abbinamenti particolari ed esaltanti!

04/05/2025: Frequentiamo questo ristorante da quando aprì, oramai 10 anni fa. Come dico nel titolo, mai banali… mai banali perché dietro ogni portata c’è attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e studio approfondito su come abbinarli, su quale sia il condimento più appropriato, fino ad arrivare all’impiattamento, fatto con cura e maestria. E l’attenzione si vede anche nella scelta di portate equilibrate, che ti permettono di arrivare alla fine di una degustazione di altissimo livello senza dover “faticare”. Ieri il menù degustazione prevedeva una tartare di manzo arricchita con la cipolla margherita, un tortello ripieno di mais condito con una bisque di crostacei e, come secondo, un’alternativa fra del baccalà condito con beurre blanc o del capocollo di maiale brasato accompagnato da delle bietole, con un dolce finale. Abbiamo assaggiato entrambe le alternative (mi riferisco ai secondi) e, come sempre, tutto era buonissimo, accompagnato da un ottimo vino della Borgogna, che abbiamo potuto scegliere fra numerose proposte di etichette di qualità. Non ultimo, il menù degustazione proposto ha un prezzo estremamente conveniente, difficilmente lo si trova altrove per menù equivalenti per livello e qualità. Infine, è importante ricordare la cortesia e la competenza dei titolari e del personale in sala, sempre attenti a descrivere le pietanze, a suggerire un vino in abbinamento o semplicemente a scambiare due battute cortesi con i clienti.

08/08/2025: Let's start with the good stuff. Excellent pizza, really good. The pizza menu is really varied. Prices are definitely reasonable. We weren't satisfied with the service. It was Tuesday, August 5th, at a table on the terrace. We were the first to arrive, but our orders were taken after two other tables arrived and taken first, so the service also came later. The same went for the mosquito coils; they were brought to the other tables, but we had to ask for them. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend it (perhaps the inside dining rooms would be better to avoid mosquitoes).

04/08/2025: I had dinner at the Green Gallery and gave the restaurant a 5-star rating. I had the opportunity to try both the meat and fish; they had a spectacular rib-eye steak, and the pizza with octopus and purple potato was truly exquisite. The staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

27/04/2025: The place you don't expect and would like to find... here it is! A really nice surprise in the heart of Nuragus, a small village where we stayed for just one night during a traveling trip in southern Sardinia. Pizza with very light dough, which almost falls apart, and quality local ingredients. The smile of the staff warms the heart, the place reminded me of the "Sunday" trattorias of my home town, on the hills in the province of Padua. The pizza with cardoons and bacon was simply fantastic. Truly a place that is easy to fall in love with! I highly recommend it, we will come back again :) Greetings, Elena and Andrea
