01/02/2026: Zodiaco is a guarantee: absolutely excellent food made with quality ingredients, generous portions, and amazing first courses and desserts. I also had the chance to try the pizza, and it's absolutely worth it. The staff is quick and knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

23/01/2026: Both the owner and some of the staff should seriously consider changing jobs. We were a large table, and I took the liberty of asking the waitress if there was a set menu or if we should order à la carte, since I'd been invited to dinner and didn't know how they'd arranged it with the restaurant. She gave me a rather annoyed response, and while I was still talking to her, she left. I called her back to finish what I was saying, which was that I don't eat certain types of meat and simply wanted to know what was on the already established menu. She replied that the first course would be malloreddus, and I asked if it was possible to have a simple sauce. A friend of mine, to shorten the reason for the change, added, "because she's vegetarian," and the waitress told me she'd check with the kitchen. After about ten minutes, during the appetizer, they brought me an eggplant stuffed with vegetables. I asked for an explanation, because I had only asked for a change to the sauce for the first course, not for any other dishes. The waiter replied that I'd said I was vegetarian, so they were preparing a vegetarian menu for me. That was nice, of course, but I'd never asked for extra dishes. The previous waitress and the owner arrived, accusing me of saying I was vegetarian and claiming that, in their opinion, I shouldn't have eaten the cold cuts included in the set appetizer. I tried to explain again—or at least I tried, because each time they'd leave while I was speaking—that the only problem was with the sauce for the malloreddus. A small argument ensued, and the owner, walking away laughing, said, "Yes, you eat tofu salami," openly mocking me in front of the people sitting at my table. I was truly disappointed. No one bothered to apologize for the misunderstanding, which I could have understood and overcome if I'd been polite. Furthermore, the first dish they brought me had sour cherry tomatoes that I couldn't even eat. The staff is arrogant, dismissive, and doesn't listen to what you politely ask. Avoid this place like the plague; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you have money to spare for a bunch of rude people.

02/12/2025: The breakfast was good for sure (we’ve had toasts with salmon and avocado, totally worth it). But coffee here was absolutely excellent, soy cappuccino was so good I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Great place

Finding him back in his restaurant after so many years at Tanka Village, preparing his legendary sorbets and crepes Suzette and entertaining his customers was like stepping back in time. The owner Franco and his staff were very kind and attentive to our needs, as there were two vegetarians. Excellent seafood dishes, from appetizers to first courses and fried calamari, with a wide selection of wines. As soon as I return to Cagliari, I will definitely return. 24/09/2025: A small but welcoming place, with very friendly staff. The food was good and plentiful. We ordered the parcel, which was tasty, but we expected a little more seafood, which was very sparse. We expect it to improve next time.

12/03/2026: I was there on Tuesday evening, there were two of us and we ordered two Margherita pizzas... In my opinion, among the worst pizzas in the city... At first glance it doesn't look good, but once you start eating it, it gets even worse: really poor quality mozzarella, lots of basil added during cooking, but the worst thing is the sauce... the latter made the pizza truly inedible in my opinion and unfortunately not only... OK service with little waiting (it was Tuesday) and average prices...

06/03/2026: We went to Jope's a week ago on a Saturday. What can I say? It was a fantastic evening, there were six of us—five adults and a five-year-old girl. Let's start with the welcome: smiles, courtesy, and a clear presentation of the menu. The little girl ate first; there was no need to ask or specify. They understood our needs immediately and recommended a cut of meat suited to her palate, and she devoured her fillet. When our food arrived, which was a short wait because the wait was truly minimal, we were all satisfied! We loved everything about the appetizers, meat, and side dishes. Highly recommended!!!

04/03/2026: I'm back in Sardinia after a long time and wanted to take my partner to explore Cagliari. The weather will worsen tomorrow, so we took advantage of today for a walk, even though it was windy. I introduced him to the city where I grew up, and we went up to the Bastione for breakfast, rediscovering a place I remembered fondly. The location truly surprised me: expanded, well-maintained, and made even more charming, with a cozy, intimate room tastefully decorated. We also found it sparsely crowded, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. For this very reason, it was disappointing to find that the breakfast didn't live up to the setting. The dessert display case seemed a bit bare and not particularly well-kept, with a slightly messy appearance that didn't really inspire much, and the quality of the products seemed modest. We weren't entirely convinced by the coffee shop either: nothing major, but it lacked the care, the attention to the little things that such a place deserves.

04/03/2026: A beautiful place to relax. it's just a shame it's run by complete ignorants. The cappuccino was undrinkable, I ordered avocado toast with a poached egg and they served no avocado and spilled on the toast with raw egg white. I ordered freshly squeezed orange juice, what was served was a disgusting artificial orange juice from a carton. When I approached to pay and complained about the juice, the waiter brazenly told me it was "spremuta d'arancia," despite the fact that behind him there was juicer completely unused with no oranges. Definitely a place to avoid. You should be ashamed!

28/09/2025: The staff is friendly, but the service quality is lacking. The food is good, the portions are average. Recommended only if you're not too hungry: five of us sat down at 9:00 PM, with no table to serve after us, so we ordered a platter and two salads. The food arrived, excessively staggered, at 10:00 PM.

06/02/2026: Crystal chandeliers and/or other frills aren't necessary to define a good hotel...the Flora, in its simplicity, offers everything that so-called large hotels advertise. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the rooms are welcoming. All this is complemented by the adjacent restaurant, where you can enjoy typical Cagliari cuisine at reasonable prices. An experience I recommend to anyone staying in Cagliari.
