13/03/2026: Even though there wasn't one, we asked for a daily menu and they accommodated us at a fixed price. Everything was delicious. I would put a TV or some music on, as it was too quiet. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

15/02/2026: Pleasant location, excellent food featuring traditional Cagliari recipes, good value. Courteous and warm welcome. I recommend it.

20/06/2026: Steak and side dish (acceptable), mushroom pizza (four small pieces of mushroom and stringy cheese, we didn't like it at all), and two beers for €50. Definitely too much!

09/06/2026: A welcoming, friendly place to sip a coffee before exercising. Also highly recommended for lunch, a snack, and an excellent pizza.

28/06/2026: It's a pleasant little place in the village, with an informal yet charming decor and frequented by locals. It was recommended to me by two Sardinian guys. Dine on these verandas under the trees. The dishes are homemade and the portions generous, also based on the catch of the day. The staff is very friendly, and pets are welcomed and treated well. The only criticism is the house white wine, which isn't very good. I would recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity. A kiss to the sweet little cat you host 🥰

29/05/2026: I asked the "Are you from Cagliari?" group where I could eat good local seafood at a reasonable price, and they recommended this restaurant. It's a bit hidden, very simple, but you feel at home and pampered. Simone, the chef, offers you whatever's fresh that day and knows how to best recommend the fish of the day, and he and his staff cook it beautifully. A special mention for the spaghetti with orziadas...fantastic! Fair prices and a friendly atmosphere. We'll be back!

18/07/2026: We were welcomed by Graziano, a maître d' of rare elegance, kindness, and professionalism. With his smile and attention to detail, he escorted us to a table with a breathtaking view of the splendid Marina Corta. The soft lighting, the sea as a backdrop, and a romantic and refined atmosphere made the evening special from the very first moment. We trusted his advice completely, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The entrée was a delicious squid ink arancini, crispy on the outside. This was followed by an appetizer that won us over: creamed fava beans with baby cuttlefish. The baby cuttlefish were incredibly tender, literally melting in our mouths. Then came a simply impeccable fried calamari, octopus, and vegetables: dry, light, crispy, and never heavy. A fried dish where the authentic flavor of the fish took center stage, enhanced by perfect cooking. To round out the meal, a tuna caponata, rich in flavor, balanced, and profoundly Sicilian. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a photo of the first course... but it would have been a shame to interrupt that moment. A red mullet ragù perfectly encapsulated the philosophy of the kitchen: simplicity, technique, and absolute respect for the ingredients. Finally, two desserts rounded out the dinner in the best possible way. A blancmange that brought us back to the authentic flavors of Sicilian tradition...delicate, fresh. And finally, a cream puff with white chocolate and apple, where the sweetness of the chocolate met the freshness and lightness of the apple, creating a refined and surprising contrast. Compliments to the entire staff and a special thanks to Graziano, whose professionalism made an already beautiful evening even more memorable.

15/07/2026: An unforgettable dinner at the "Al Pirata" restaurant, Lipari If you're looking for a culinary experience that combines the freshness of local seafood with refined creativity, "Al Pirata" in Lipari is a must-visit. The refined and elegant setting, and the enchanting seafront atmosphere make it the ideal place for a special evening. Special praise goes to the staff, who are truly courteous and attentive to every need. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, and every dish reflects the passion of the chef. I'll definitely be back!

10/05/2026: We visited the hotel during the first week of May. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied, fresh, and well-presented. Unfortunately, there was only a buffet one evening; otherwise, it was set menus. The quality of the individual dishes varied considerably. Sometimes excellent, sometimes terrible. We would gladly return, but only if we booked a room with breakfast included.

10/05/2026: As soon as we arrived, everything went well. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, which is why I added an extra star instead of just one. The room was well-presented, apart from the initial difficulty of using force to open it and the same problem closing it, otherwise it would stay open. The room was clean, but ours had a door that connected to the other room and was very poorly soundproofed, which I really don't accept for a 5-star hotel. The spa is there just to say the least, but it's lacking maintenance and disappointing in every way. For example, out of 5 hydromassage jets, only 1 worked. The situation at the bar was disappointing. It took six workers 45 minutes to find the bottle we asked for. Or rather, I assume they only had warm water and tried putting it in the blast chiller to cool it down a bit. Every time we've had an aperitivo, either the requested bottle wasn't available or there's always been some mix-up that results in us being offered a platter. The platter was NEVER accompanied by napkins or a small plate to place the olive seeds on. I think they're basics from a dive bar, let alone a 5-star establishment. We arrived for lunch at 1:30 PM, and with just one course, we finished at 3:30. The icing on the cake, however, was breakfast. We went in to ask if we had an assigned seat or if there were any free seats, and the waiter, if you will, replied: "You can sit wherever you like, but next time, get dressed and put on a jacket, otherwise you'll sit outside." I was wearing a top and pants. I wasn't in a swimsuit or dressed vulgarly. In fact, I'm nine months pregnant and often get hot flashes that don't force me to lighten up. The change in tone of his response (using the informal "tu" with me) and the smug manner he used, considering he was one of the older waiters, makes me realize how inadequate the table service is. He completely ruined my morning and was incredibly rude. He made me so angry that I regret not having gotten his name to point this out at the front desk. In short, a negative experience in almost every way, except for the front desk and the girl who drove the shuttle to the beach, who was super kind and friendly. Otherwise, I'd never set foot there again.

12/04/2026: The atmosphere is very intimate and welcoming, with just the right balance of lighting and acoustics, making for a pleasant evening, whether you're listening to live music or chatting with friends. The food is exquisite, and the portions are adequate, allowing you to fully savor the delicacy of each course, complemented by a wide selection of wines and cocktails. The service and cleanliness are excellent, with very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend booking a table, as it's always busy!

11/10/2025: I've been coming here for years, drunk many a beer, watched countless football matches on TV, had countless café correttos, and slurped down many an ice cream. Veronica and Michele are very friendly and welcoming hosts. Thank you for many wonderful hours!

30/06/2026: Kalends is an excellent bar in Capoterra, highly qualified staff, excellent food and excellent prices, there is also a smoking area on the terrace outside

27/06/2026: I usually go there to get cakes for various birthdays, and they're excellent, as is the price! The breakfasts are also excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and the staff is excellent. I recommend them.

03/08/2026: A very pleasant experience. We arrived without a reservation, and they set up a table for us in minutes. We ordered a first and second course, and everything was delicious, especially the linguine with clams and bottarga. The staff was friendly and helpful, highly recommended.

03/08/2026: Fish tasting menu for €45, drinks excluded. Seafood spaghetti was good, only mussels and clams were good. Fried calamari was average, it looked like the one from a bag. Chips were undercooked. Sorbet and coffee were served with the menu. Not worth the money.

24/05/2026: We were welcomed with great friendliness and professionalism. The tasting menu was perfect, and my wife, who is celiac, was able to enjoy everything they offered.

13/03/2026: We ordered two tasting menus. The appetizers were numerous and very good. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the first and second courses. For the first course, they gave us two options: salmon ravioli or squid ink tagliolini with grouper ragù and bottarga. We chose tagliolini. The ragù was delicious, but the type of pasta made the dish subpar. The fresh pasta was too sweet, broken, and soggy, making the dish nauseating. With thick spaghetti, the ragù would have been excellent. For the second course, they only offered cod with yellow tomato and squid sauce. The sauce was delicious, but again, the fish, a bit stringy, was completely out of place. That sauce would have been perfect with sea bass, meagre, sea bream, etc. I wouldn't have expected such a fish. In any case, the selection of dishes was too limited. If I return, I'll opt for the à la carte menu because there was a wider selection of dishes, which I honestly don't understand isn't extended to those who opt for the tasting menu (besides, diners are required to order the same dishes). Very good desserts. Attentive service.
