25/05/2026: On Sunday, they made space for us in the garden, we enjoyed a wonderful multi-day meal, and the highlight for us was the easily accessible disabled toilet!!!, because my husband uses a wheelchair.
The restaurant comes highly recommended.

30/05/2026: There were four of us without a reservation, and we spoke very little Italian. Everything was fantastic: the service, the delicious food, and the generous portions. We ordered both meat and fish. Everything was delicious.
20/05/2026: You can't serve a steak weighing more than a kilo rare, raw, and cold from the refrigerator. Cooking a Florentine steak is an art, and should be done by someone who knows the art.
I recommend a cast iron griddle and suitable cutlery.
The potatoes are excellent, and the grilled vegetables are good. Mediocre value for money.

24/07/2026: We stopped for dinner along the way and found a welcoming place that perfectly complemented its surroundings. The cuisine offers a variety of options, some of which are unique. Excellent ceviche, spectacular grilled octopus, and spectacular fregola and lobster spaghetti. We loved the ambiance so much that we returned two days later for the afternoon. The daytime service is just as excellent as the evening one, and the option of dining right on the beach is the icing on the cake. Recommended for those seeking relaxation and pampering.

02/07/2026: Comfortable atmosphere, the staff is always present and very kind. The pizzas are delicious, cooked very well. You can see they have a lot of experience.
28/06/2026: Large place, good food, less good price, compared to a few years ago I found it enlarged as well as the prices, 14 euros for a small hamburger and fries seems exaggerated to me, a pizza and a beer 24 euros I think is exaggerated.. a little kindness from some waitresses would not be bad.

The pizzeria's identity has been severely impacted since the wood-fired oven was replaced with an automatic rotating electric oven.
The pizza is flat and rubbery.
The flavors and texture provided by the traditional wood-fired oven are gone.
What a disaster.
02/06/2026: I ordered a gluten-free pizza and was very satisfied: the menu has a wide selection and the pizza was delicious. The staff is very friendly, and you can tell they follow strict procedures for gluten-free products, with separate ovens and careful preparation. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back.

19/05/2026: A great experience for a relaxing moment. The cappuccino was delicious and the service was simply perfect. The girls were super friendly.
23/04/2026: Yesterday we went to this bar for an aperitivo. It was a decidedly negative experience. We sat for a quarter of an hour while the bartender stared at us without ever bothering to take our order. It was unprofessional, and when we were finally served, she was even quite rude.
Customers should feel welcomed, not ignored. The service needs a complete overhaul.
It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the service really makes a difference.

04/07/2026: We were served immediately, the pizzas were superb, the service was truly excellent, fast, and professional. The location was beautiful, but above all, it was very cheap compared to other places around, and the quality is still high.
30/06/2026: I had already booked a couple of days in advance, but when we arrived there was no reservation. They sorted it out right away, however, by placing us at a table for four, even though there were six of us. On the plus side, we ate excellent pizza. Perhaps they could use more decent tables, since ours consisted of two different tables, and above all, good knives. A word of advice: perhaps let them know that there is only the outdoor dining area.

01/06/2026: A total of 10 out of 10 for the pizza, the people, and the atmosphere! 🥹! The pizza has an excellent dough, easy to digest and well-cooked (they have a wood-fired oven!), and the quality of the ingredients seems excellent too (the tomato in particular was very fragrant, as were the other fresh ingredients)! The staff is really kind, smiling, and helpful! It's a takeout pizzeria, but there are a few tables inside and you can eat in, like we did.
Excellent value for money.
I'll definitely be back!!

07/06/2026: Generous portions, but frozen fish. Questionable service. I sat down for lunch and was mostly ignored for the first 10 minutes. They didn't even bring me water. Then, some of the owner's relatives came in after me and were immediately brought water and bread. Nothing for me. I didn't even see the bread. Needless to say, after ordering and waiting another 15 minutes, the dishes were served first to the last ones in and then to me. In conclusion, I'd say the prices are above average for the area. There are much better places in the area.

15/05/2026: Excellent welcome and service. A selection of truly delicious appetizers, in typical Sardinian style. The fregola with mussels and bottarga, with a hint of spice, was the best. The homemade cheesecake was also good. Excellent value. €34 per person.
Reservations are recommended as there are only a few tables.

22/05/2026: The central location is excellent for the feast of Sant'Egidio on May 1st.
The breakfast isn't the best, it's standard. But the staff is always helpful. The rooms aren't bad, a little dated but comfortable. Antique in the beautiful sense.
In any case, there are some valuable collectibles. Kudos to the owner for that.
22/05/2026: The hotel is well-located and central, yet we were able to park on the street every day without any problems. It's nicely renovated and comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant because we went on a day trip to the beautiful beaches of Sardinia. We would definitely return.

26/05/2026: I stopped by one evening (a Monday, so it wasn't very crowded). I had a rib-eye steak with a side of grilled vegetables, which was truly tender and tasty. Excellent beer selection. The dessert was also good. The staff was truly kind and attentive. I would return.
03/05/2026: A true pub where you can find your favorite beer and enjoy excellent food.
Impeccable service and a very friendly Andrea who treated us like royalty.
Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back every time we pass through Assemini.
