26/05/2026: The food is simple but good, with decent portions and good quality. The prices are reasonable. The ambiance is rather basic but acceptable. Unfortunately, there's no decent outdoor seating area. The staff is very friendly.
26/05/2026: Don't be put off by the "No Entry" sign on the gate and the restaurant's hidden entrance.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had seafood salad, pizza, linguine with seafood, sea bream, and a kids' burger with fries.
Very friendly service.
We would definitely come back.

05/05/2026: Neat and clean, with a rustic style (in a good way).
The service is quick. The staff are kind and helpful. The food is excellent. I tried the pizza, and on another occasion I had the horse rib steak (and the meat was truly tender and flavorful). The prices are very reasonable for the quality. I'll gladly return.

We found a table right away, but it was the last one. We were lucky. The place is good and popular, but the tables can sometimes be full. The beer is good, and the bruschetta is good too.

23/03/2026: I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. L'Ambasciata is a small, charming hotel in the Marina district, one of Cagliari's liveliest and most authentic neighborhoods. Its central location makes it worth the stay.
The rooms are small—only ten—and each is dedicated to a Sardinian beach. The attention to detail is immediately apparent, as are the cleanliness and comfort. I slept great.
The staff was friendly without being intrusive, always available to offer advice about the city. Breakfast is simple, but good and varied.
In short, it's one of those places where you wake up in the morning and are happy to be there. I'll be back.
21/03/2026: My room was large enough, cosy and clean. Only the bathroom need some renewal, especialy the shower. The hotel is near for everything. The heating system worked well. I didn't like the rooftop door was always open and I always closed, because it was a bit cold outside. The staff was kind.

16/04/2026: I'll start by saying that I was drawn to the aroma that wafts out from the bar early in the morning. Today I finally managed to get in, and besides having eaten the best fried donut in 10 years—very light, not greasy, and with zero oil flavor—I'm mainly leaving this review for the two guys serving. There was a lot of traffic, and the place was clearly understaffed. Extremely professional, always smiling and impatient, they juggled the cash register, dozens of coffees, table orders, and clearing the tables.
I've managed restaurants abroad, and finally here I see people who know how to work and, above all, MAKE A DIFFERENCE, smiling and knowing how to address the customer. I advise the owner to treat them with care. New customer acquired!
18/03/2026: A good bar, spacious and well-furnished with an excellent selection of products. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fair prices.

16/03/2026: We found it last minute on a Saturday night, and it was a quiet and relaxing place. The pizza and appetizers were excellent, so much so that we've already booked for next Saturday. There's also karaoke on Saturday nights.

31/05/2026: We were on holiday and had dinner at your restaurant. I went inside to pay the bill, I paid what was presented to me, and even left a €10 tip for the waiter (rather long black hair). We then left the restaurant at a normal pace (not fast because I am disabled).
After crossing the street, we looked at the receipt and realized that the ticket was not ours but from another table of 4 persons. We checked the ticket and discovered that we had been given and charged the wrong bill. We were about to return to the restaurant when a waiter came running after us, loudly accusing us of leaving without paying and saying we took the bill from another table.
I reminded him that I had personally paid inside the restaurant and had even tipped him. We then were forced to show him proof of payment on our phone, we returned to the restaurant to resolve the mistake. It became clear that the error was not ours, but the restaurant had charged us the wrong table's bill.
We immediately paid the correct amount, but by then we had already been publicly accused in front of other guests, who were looking at us as if we had deliberately left without paying. I am disabled so we certainly were not trying to rush away.
What disappointed us most was that, despite the mistake being on the restaurant's side, we never received an apology for the false accusation or for the embarrassment caused.
Everyone can make mistakes, but when a customer is wrongly accused in public, a simple apology would have been the least we could expect.

26/05/2026: I stopped by one evening (a Monday, so it wasn't very crowded). I had a rib-eye steak with a side of grilled vegetables, which was truly tender and tasty. Excellent beer selection. The dessert was also good. The staff was truly kind and attentive. I would return.
03/05/2026: A true pub where you can find your favorite beer and enjoy excellent food.
Impeccable service and a very friendly Andrea who treated us like royalty.
Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back every time we pass through Assemini.

10/05/2026: We visited the hotel during the first week of May. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied, fresh, and well-presented.
Unfortunately, there was only a buffet one evening; otherwise, it was set menus.
The quality of the individual dishes varied considerably. Sometimes excellent, sometimes terrible. We would gladly return, but only if we booked a room with breakfast included.
10/05/2026: As soon as we arrived, everything went well. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, which is why I added an extra star instead of just one. The room was well-presented, apart from the initial difficulty of using force to open it and the same problem closing it, otherwise it would stay open. The room was clean, but ours had a door that connected to the other room and was very poorly soundproofed, which I really don't accept for a 5-star hotel. The spa is there just to say the least, but it's lacking maintenance and disappointing in every way. For example, out of 5 hydromassage jets, only 1 worked. The situation at the bar was disappointing. It took six workers 45 minutes to find the bottle we asked for. Or rather, I assume they only had warm water and tried putting it in the blast chiller to cool it down a bit. Every time we've had an aperitivo, either the requested bottle wasn't available or there's always been some mix-up that results in us being offered a platter. The platter was NEVER accompanied by napkins or a small plate to place the olive seeds on. I think they're basics from a dive bar, let alone a 5-star establishment. We arrived for lunch at 1:30 PM, and with just one course, we finished at 3:30. The icing on the cake, however, was breakfast. We went in to ask if we had an assigned seat or if there were any free seats, and the waiter, if you will, replied: "You can sit wherever you like, but next time, get dressed and put on a jacket, otherwise you'll sit outside." I was wearing a top and pants. I wasn't in a swimsuit or dressed vulgarly. In fact, I'm nine months pregnant and often get hot flashes that don't force me to lighten up. The change in tone of his response (using the informal "tu" with me) and the smug manner he used, considering he was one of the older waiters, makes me realize how inadequate the table service is. He completely ruined my morning and was incredibly rude. He made me so angry that I regret not having gotten his name to point this out at the front desk. In short, a negative experience in almost every way, except for the front desk and the girl who drove the shuttle to the beach, who was super kind and friendly. Otherwise, I'd never set foot there again.
