24/08/2025: An incredible number of great products from Sardinia – highly recommended for anyone who not only wants to bring something back for their loved ones, but also seeks a culinary souvenir for themselves. We stocked up on special-shaped pasta and Sardinian pastries. Due to a misunderstanding, we ended up paying for more sweet treats than planned and carrying more in our bags. When we complained a few minutes later, the salesperson not only apologized repeatedly but also offered to take other items for the same amount and even gave us the extra pastries as a gift. These were so delicious, in retrospect, that we would have bought even more if we'd known beforehand. Thank you so much for the friendly service!

01/08/2025: What an incredible experience at Sardissimo in Cagliari! Entering this shop is like taking a journey to the most authentic Sardinia, a paradise of specialties that make you fall in love with the island! Cheeses that seem to sing poems of Sardinian pastures, cured meats that smell of tradition, and, ladies and gentlemen, bottarga! When my mother told me not to forget the eggs, I thought: Eggs? We're in a specialty shop! And yet, there it is, bottarga, those delicious grated fish roe that transform every dish into a masterpiece! Patricia, our heroine, welcomed us with a smile brighter than the Sardinian sun, offering us a taste of a typical liqueur that, I swear, seemed magical. Not content, she gave us some Sardinian biscuits so good I almost booked a house in Cagliari! She packaged our purchases with the care of an artist, perfect for the plane ride. Every tip, every smile, every product screams Sardinia in the most exquisite way. Sardissimo is a dream, and Patricia makes it unforgettable! Always worth coming back to!

26/08/2025: We booked an 8:00 PM dinner, accidentally arrived 15 minutes late, and the reservations guy dismissed us with a decidedly rude and impolite response! I don't know if he would have behaved the same way in October! Luckily, there are plenty of other great and welcoming places.

22/08/2025: A good place for pizza. They have a variety and thin-crust pizza. The price-quality ratio is very good. The location is perfect for a stroll afterward. Parking is difficult.

Once decided, the 2 adult meals arrived, we had to eat the child's meal so we could eat as a family and not take turns. As a result, the meal was cold. Once finished, we waited over an hour for them to clear our order and order dessert. This was never done. We paid and left. We were simply abandoned in the restaurant...

Excellent cuisine, with attention to the finest ingredients, and the gourmet pizzas are truly delicious with carefully crafted flavor combinations! 16/08/2025: Excellent management, with maximum attention to the quality and variety of beers, both on tap and in bottles and cans, with truly refined and well-preserved beers. It's a shame the limited food selection makes it less than ideal for dinner, but it's still an ideal spot for aperitifs and after-dinner drinks.

15/08/2025: Went today with my brother and mother! Once i took the orders of my family, i went to stand in line! While ordering, and finally arriving to the last dish , the worker tells me that they dont have it as listed and would adjust by adding another sourdough slice instead of the “croissant”. Ofcourse i had to go back to my table and see if my mum was ok with it, which she wasnt so she chose another dish. Went back to order, there was a huge line infront me ! When it was my turn the worker had to type all of the order again! :( My mom ordered a quiche vegeterian, ofcourse ;) the worker there says she isnt sure if they still have it( what do you have then? 😅) but thankfully they did! Both orders arrived , and guess what? They brought my mom the wrong one with bacon! I was very disapointed at this point. Went to give it back, the waitress takes it , no appology whatsoever and says she will bring a vegeterian one. My brother had to eat alone since his order came first, and my mom as well. (That’s exactly why we go together to a restaurant, to eat alone😩) Again not even an appology! The waitress bringing the food was coughing all around and not cleaning her hands before touching the plates ( i was really disgusted)! I love Babu’s but i wouldn’t chose this branch again! I was really surprised at the enorm difference between this branch and the branch next to the Opera house!

The food is truly exceptional, expertly prepared using the freshest ingredients. The atmosphere is casual, elegant yet understated, making it suitable for business meetings or social gatherings.

26/07/2025: The atmosphere is informal, and the dishes offered are mostly fish and seafood, accompanied by pasta or fregola. The catch is absolutely fresh and expertly prepared. Minimal frills and plenty of substance.
