Beautiful, historic restaurant on Cagliari's central pedestrian street. Super fresh, excellent, and plentiful food, enjoyed slowly in a warm, comfortable atmosphere—it feels like eating at home. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. The restaurant only serves dinner, and only up to capacity. There's no rotation; those who do get seated can enjoy the entire evening. Since it's always crowded, it's best to book in advance.

An old-fashioned osteria. The service is familiar but not intrusive; politeness and hospitality are in the owner's DNA. The menu is more or less fixed, as is the reasonable price per person. We sampled three appetizers (the fried mussels were exceptional, of course!), a first course, and a second course (the sole parmigiana was truly special!). The rustic, clean, and tidy atmosphere makes it a typical "substantial" trattoria you'll gladly return to whenever you can.

This family-run seafood restaurant is located in the center of Cagliari. Fabrizio, a kind and attentive man, will be there to welcome you. As a celiac, I requested menu changes where possible, and Fabrizio and his chefs accommodated my requests (I even had the opportunity to try gluten-free pasta). Highly recommended, the freshest fish is guaranteed!

06/11/2025: We stayed in Pula for 3 weeks and had dinner and aperitivi here on a number of occasions. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and we always received a warm welcome. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend, we loved it!

Ristorante Martinelli's

13/03/2026: We ordered two tasting menus. The appetizers were numerous and very good. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the first and second courses. For the first course, they gave us two options: salmon ravioli or squid ink tagliolini with grouper ragù and bottarga. We chose tagliolini. The ragù was delicious, but the type of pasta made the dish subpar. The fresh pasta was too sweet, broken, and soggy, making the dish nauseating. With thick spaghetti, the ragù would have been excellent. For the second course, they only offered cod with yellow tomato and squid sauce. The sauce was delicious, but again, the fish, a bit stringy, was completely out of place. That sauce would have been perfect with sea bass, meagre, sea bream, etc. I wouldn't have expected such a fish. In any case, the selection of dishes was too limited. If I return, I'll opt for the à la carte menu because there was a wider selection of dishes, which I honestly don't understand isn't extended to those who opt for the tasting menu (besides, diners are required to order the same dishes). Very good desserts. Attentive service.
