14/06/2026: I returned to this restaurant after a few years, where I'd always enjoyed it, but unfortunately this year I had a bad experience. Besides the extremely high prices, starting with the €3.50 cover charge and the filtered Aquamea at €3 a liter, I ordered the gluten-free pizza, which, unfortunately, was terrible. The first one arrived half-frozen (the dough is frozen, and they add the toppings when you order). They remade it for me, but even the terrible one, which I ate only because I was hungry. And they charged me for both! Then I ordered a typical Sardinian dessert from Alghero, crema catalana, but they brought me a dessert that had nothing to do with the classic recipe... and on top of that, it was frozen, and I paid €7. The restaurant is very nice and the staff is friendly, but I don't think I'll be returning.

11/08/2026: Terrible dinner, limited seafood selection, only frozen mussels, clams, and shrimp sold at exorbitant prices for the quality. Most of the menu isn't even available for ordering because they don't have any fish replacements. The shellfish were brought raw, causing severe stomach and intestinal problems for me and the others at the table. Disgraceful service, the waiters don't want to work and leave you waiting forever just to ask for the menu or a bottle of water. The place is nice, but it looks like a house converted into a restaurant. There's no parking nearby, so it's not even accessible for people with disabilities. I don't understand how it has a 4.3 rating. It looks like a nightmare kitchen; they don't even know how to cook the (packaged) pasta correctly, which they sell you as fresh at an exorbitant price.

11/08/2026: Inedible food, terrible service, and not even a discount. The evening began in a very nice and charming place, I must say, with a lot of people, but no parking. A waiter in his 60s arrived and kept telling us to wait (we were simply asking for the menu after arriving 20 minutes earlier). He proceeded with the order, telling us that some dishes on the menu were unavailable. Oh well, let's overlook it. He forgot to send the order to the kitchen, and after 40 minutes, another waiter arrived to apologize, telling us that due to the inconvenience, we would have to wait even longer. The mussels arrived RAW and tasted rancid, inedible. Subsequently, this same older waiter threw a whole glass of wine, fortunately white, at my boyfriend, reaching into the glass to get it back (we were not brought new wine or a clean glass). We get to the starters and have to send back the spaghetti allo scoglio because it's completely undercooked (even the waiters noticed how raw it was)—at least a good 5 minutes late, and most importantly, it's not homemade, as you'd expect for such a price. We arrive at the checkout on an empty stomach and with a full bill to pay without even a slight discount, not even 5 euros for laundry. Luckily, the uneaten pasta wasn't added to our bill, otherwise I would have snapped, but they must have seen we were young and taken advantage of us, making us have a terrible evening. Don't trust the 4.3 reviews; only foreigners go there. The only positive point is the two young waiters who tried to apologize and remedy the situation.

08/06/2026: A cozy restaurant with a large selection of dishes. We were greeted and served very warmly and attentively, and received excellent advice regarding wine pairings for our meal.

Ristorante I Ginepri, in the Maracalagonis countryside, is a delightful discovery: it's easily reached in just 10-12 minutes for those living just outside Cagliari, and a little further from Cagliari. It has ample parking, and offers a truly high-quality dining experience. We began frequenting it with growing enthusiasm, and after our first, more than positive experiences, my wife decided to organize a lunch here with over twenty colleagues for a special event. It was the best choice she could have made. For such a large group, the entire staff truly outdid themselves, demonstrating great professionalism, organization, and a rare attention to each guest. The menu was simply excellent. The appetizers, numerous, meticulously presented, and rich in flavor, won over everyone. The first courses deserve a special mention. The calamarata allo scoglio was simply extraordinary: the freshest ingredients, perfectly balanced, and expertly cooked. The attention given to those who, for dietary reasons or personal preferences, couldn't choose this dish was also greatly appreciated, yet still found valid and tasty alternatives. The sea bream fillet with potatoes and mushrooms, enhanced by a delicate and balanced citrus note that enhanced the flavor of the fish without overpowering it, was a wonderful surprise for everyone. And finally, the cake prepared by Mrs. Rosalba was a fitting finale to a memorable lunch: refined, authentic, and simply delicious. A special thanks goes to all the staff, always attentive, smiling, and meticulous. Mrs. Rosalba, with her charm and ability to entertain guests, helped create a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. A special thanks goes to Chef Roberto and his kitchen team, creators of dishes that combine quality ingredients, technique, and passion. For those who love good food, want to reach the restaurant just a few minutes from Cagliari, find ample parking, and spend pleasant moments in a welcoming atmosphere, Ristorante I Ginepri is a must-visit. All this with a truly unbeatable quality-price ratio. Compliments to the entire staff: we will definitely continue to return and recommend it to friends.

08/06/2026: We stayed 3 nights in June. This hotel is structured like a small resort, far from the chaos of the city, where a remarkable peace undoubtedly reigns. The rooms are a little dated but perfectly efficient and equipped with every comfort. The outdoor spaces are wonderful; you can have breakfast outside to the sound of birds chirping. The pool and relaxation area are very beautiful. Excellent cuisine. But I'd like to say a few more words about the staff. The girl at the front desk always treated us with great kindness and helpfulness; we felt at home. I would love to return... thank you so much 🙏

15/04/2026: Absolutely fantastic, typically Italian, yet very reasonably priced! A gift from heaven that deserves more than 5 stars. It's simply incredible what they conjure up here with the simplest of ingredients. This restaurant is also easily accessible by public transport (in 2024: a 9-minute walk from Oristano train station). It was a bit more difficult by car in 2025, but you can park nearby at the Eurospin supermarket and walk to the restaurant in 6 minutes. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience at your restaurant!
