13/03/2026: We ordered two tasting menus. The appetizers were numerous and very good. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the first and second courses. For the first course, they gave us two options: salmon ravioli or squid ink tagliolini with grouper ragù and bottarga. We chose tagliolini. The ragù was delicious, but the type of pasta made the dish subpar. The fresh pasta was too sweet, broken, and soggy, making the dish nauseating. With thick spaghetti, the ragù would have been excellent. For the second course, they only offered cod with yellow tomato and squid sauce. The sauce was delicious, but again, the fish, a bit stringy, was completely out of place. That sauce would have been perfect with sea bass, meagre, sea bream, etc. I wouldn't have expected such a fish. In any case, the selection of dishes was too limited. If I return, I'll opt for the à la carte menu because there was a wider selection of dishes, which I honestly don't understand isn't extended to those who opt for the tasting menu (besides, diners are required to order the same dishes). Very good desserts. Attentive service.

14/10/2025: Stunningly beautiful hotel. Breakfast was well-prepared and everything was deliciously fresh. The evening meal was fantastic, and everything was freshly prepared. And the people who work there are super nice.

13/10/2025: A hotel with hidden charms. I stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. While I had to get past the decorum, it's certainly not unpleasant; the atmosphere is very homey. The rooms are spotless and the amenities are excellent. Of all the hotels I've stayed in on this island, the staff here are the most welcoming and approachable. This hotel is definitely recommended!

08/02/2026: Lunch, August 25, 2023. Impeccable tuna quality and good tuna preparations—let's just say that as far as grilling bluefin tuna is concerned, there's nothing to complain about. But for the rest... the first courses were awful; the menu listed "fresh couscous with seared tuna." The bowl containing the food and couscous were microwave-hot; the couscous was simply boiled in water and topped with cherry tomato wedges, canned chickpeas, and 5 (five) diced grilled tuna. "White lasagna with pesto, tuna, and zucchini" was the same. The lasagna was reheated in the microwave, the plate was piping hot, and the lasagna pasta was decidedly too thick and barely seasoned (given the type of restaurant, I wasn't expecting such skimpiness and carelessness in the preparation). The octopus and potato appetizer was rubbery, and the potatoes had been boiled at least two days before (inedible). Expectations were high, but they were disappointed. Not to mention that the owner, busy haranguing his friends' other tables, didn't bother listening to our complaints. He even missed the checkout, leaving the waitress to deal with the situation, which, in my opinion, was unacceptable. I won't be returning. PS: On a positive note, fortunately, the couscous wasn't charged.

06/10/2025: I regret not taking a photo of the suckling pig and finishing it early. I found this butcher shop on the recommendation of a local. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism of the owners. The suckling pig and baked potatoes were excellent. I highly recommend them.

31/03/2026: I would give 10 stars if I could! We had an incredibly pleasant and warm evening and were even served by the owner himself, who carved the fish of the day for us. His colleague was also lovely! The mixed fish appetizers for two and the perfect wine recommendations were sensational. Thank you for this wonderful evening!

24/03/2026: An unforgettable culinary experience! A very warm welcome, outstanding service, and exceptional cuisine. There were four of us, and we enjoyed the scorpionfish of the day with spaghetti. Pure bliss! The orange and ginger yogurt for dessert was exquisitely delicate. To finish, the complimentary myrrh and chocolate digestif… everything was perfect, and we had a truly delightful time.

19/04/2026: Excellent quality food, quick service and special pizzas... excellent dough... price not like the usual pizzerias but it's okay, it's not the usual pizzeria, it's something more and different... and then my daughter had other special foods... brought quickly, well plated and excellent... discreet service... prepared... congratulations... in Corso De Stefanis ... DaDDo..... nice little place I will return, you can't go wrong

24/10/2025: We were treated very kindly. We didn't have a reservation during peak season, but we still got a table (2 adults and 2 children). Communication was good, even though we didn't speak Italian. The food was really good quality, I have to say. We had tuna and the kids had pasta. The portions aren't as generous as you'd expect in Germany. But I think it's comparable to the other restaurants on Carloforte. Overall, I would recommend it. They're also a bit cheaper than the ones on the promenade. I think we'll eat there again on our vacation this year.

03/04/2026: It's a regular event for us. The horse blood steak, cooked rare with oil and parsley, is an absolute must. Freshly cut and exceptional French fries, and to finish, a wonderful tiramisu! A guarantee!
