03/05/2026: One star because I have to give it. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. Although the restaurant was empty, we were seated at a table in the far corner. After ordering, we had to wait over an hour for our food, while four guests who arrived after us were served much more quickly. They were locals. When the food finally arrived, the server even spilled water on our table. We moved to another table. Overall, we felt neither welcome nor well-treated. Absolutely not recommended. Disastrous! Locals are given preferential treatment here. Tourists have to wait!

20/05/2026: Pizzas here are tasty. Quick and friendly service. We stayed 2 weeks in Castelsardo and ate the best pizzas here. Waiter was really nice and helpful. North of money for sure.

05/07/2026: Overpriced for the quality of the food. Bottarga pasta not tasty at all, orange and shrimp seemed few days old. Tiramisu not even close to a proper one.

03/07/2026: The fish was breathtaking... the octopus with potatoes melted in your mouth and was exceptional. I'll definitely be back! The best in Palau and the surrounding area.

08/06/2026: The service is super fast, friendly, kind, and very capable. The owner is also hospitable and very helpful. We often order the ice cream and pizza. Last time, we decided to have a steak dinner, which was delicious and had an excellent selection. We have no complaints at all, and in fact, I highly recommend it.

13/05/2026: Was recommended this place. Food was amazing and all freshly done to our tastes. Owner/chef was very attentive. Waiting staff was perfect pacing everything perfectly. Their own special olive oil was to die for.

04/07/2026: I ate there twice during my vacation. The best pizzas and tiramisu I have ever had. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service is very friendly. Definitely recommended, but be sure to reserve in advance because it gets very busy!

09/06/2026: I had lunch at La Capinera just today and witnessed a rather unpleasant scene. A customer insulted, offended, and above all, disrespected the waitress. I was near this customer's table, I saw and heard everything. The waitress, exhausted by hearing her insults (for no reason), politely asked her to sit outside; she wasn't welcome. The truth is, I had a very good lunch: generous portions and everything fresh, very attentive and meticulous service. It's a shame there are people like "that customer" who managed to ruin my lunch. To you, the staff at La Capinera, keep up the good work, always with your heads held high! I recommend this restaurant, while I ask the famous customer to take a crash course in good manners and respect for others.

08/06/2026: Small portions, three clams and two spaghetti. The pizza dries out quickly and becomes a brick if you don't eat it quickly. Service is inattentive, with a nonverbal display of dislike and disgust toward the customer. The blonde waitress with glasses was rude to the guest. Absolutely avoidable, and a shame because it's the only one in San Vito. Avoid it and go elsewhere where you'll be treated well and with humanity.
