28/02/2026: I'd definitely give it 5 stars for the food. The food is very good, honestly, and the service is attentive and excellent. But for a lunch in February, out of season, where we were the only ones in the restaurant, and above all, good, simple fare, not something fancy like €100 for two, it's absolutely beyond all logic and comprehension. I'd understand in August, but in February, two plates of (simple) pasta and two appetizers for a fried dish wouldn't exist. You're a trattoria in the middle of a narrow street. We'd have returned, but unfortunately not to be slaughtered by a trattoria that pretends to be a Michelin-starred restaurant on the bill.

11/11/2025: A very friendly welcome, a very fresh octopus salad while waiting for the risotto dish which was supposed to cook for 20 minutes. Thank you for this very good meal!

25/11/2025: Great experience, I recommend arriving with an appetite because, in addition to the great quality and courtesy, the dishes are endless, but it's impossible not to savor them all. Thanks to all the staff ❤️

29/03/2026: I called for a reservation at this restaurant, and since there were no more seats inside, I was recommended the outdoor patio. When I asked if it might be cold, since it's late March and not exactly summer, I was assured that the heaters would be fine. Unfortunately, only half of the available heaters were working, and part of our table wasn't heated at all. Nearing the end of the evening, I asked if we could be moved inside since our children were definitely suffering from the cold. I got no response... we quickly finished our pizza, and were forced to leave because we couldn't stand it any longer... I'm sorry, I don't usually give negative reviews because I try to understand any potential issues, but we would have appreciated a little more clarity and honesty from the reservations agent.

10/03/2026: Pasta with clams and bottarga... the pasta seemed precooked and left in water for too long, fried chips and calamari on the same plate, basically chips and four calamari rings, €20. Price, with a glass of white wine, €50.50. I take out the €50 note hoping for a voluntary 50 cent discount, but I had to insist... Too bad, the place is beautiful and quaint, but the rest is best left alone.

04/01/2026: We were really pleased. I recommend the dishes you can't find elsewhere, like the artichokes with bottarga, the tagliolini with oysters and sea asparagus, and the fish soup of the day... the rest is also top-notch. We also ordered the pizzas, which have a thin, light, and fragrant crust. The tiramisu deserves praise, as does the tagliolini with oysters and asparagus (one of the best pasta dishes I've ever tried). Well done, well done, even the waiter.

10/12/2025: We visited this restaurant in December. Top-quality ingredients, friendly staff, excellent food. We'll definitely be back.

14/10/2025: Stunningly beautiful hotel. Breakfast was well-prepared and everything was deliciously fresh. The evening meal was fantastic, and everything was freshly prepared. And the people who work there are super nice.

13/10/2025: A hotel with hidden charms. I stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. While I had to get past the decorum, it's certainly not unpleasant; the atmosphere is very homey. The rooms are spotless and the amenities are excellent. Of all the hotels I've stayed in on this island, the staff here are the most welcoming and approachable. This hotel is definitely recommended!

11/03/2026: I went to lunch a few days ago with my wife. I'll talk and describe the courses I chose, because the calamari my wife ordered were delicious, no complaints there. I chose spaghetti with clams. They had no seafood flavor; the flavor of the clams was covered by too much BUTTER and OIL used to season everything. I was hoping for the second course to also be seafood. Mussels Marinara. The mollusks were DRY, cooked for a while, or overcooked anyway, the mussels weren't cleaned very well, and this dish also had no flavor. If you don't believe me, try ordering the same things and then comment. The wine was very good, as was the dessert. I would go again, but I wouldn't order the same things.

01/03/2026: Excellent restaurant, very well organized, both in terms of menu and selection, both in terms of location; indoor dining rooms and a large enclosed outdoor dining room. An automatic door would be useful, as those who go out often leave the door open, and in winter, it's unpleasant for those eating in the outdoor dining room. Otherwise, Super! Friendly waiters and super efficient service.

08/02/2026: Lunch, August 25, 2023. Impeccable tuna quality and good tuna preparations—let's just say that as far as grilling bluefin tuna is concerned, there's nothing to complain about. But for the rest... the first courses were awful; the menu listed "fresh couscous with seared tuna." The bowl containing the food and couscous were microwave-hot; the couscous was simply boiled in water and topped with cherry tomato wedges, canned chickpeas, and 5 (five) diced grilled tuna. "White lasagna with pesto, tuna, and zucchini" was the same. The lasagna was reheated in the microwave, the plate was piping hot, and the lasagna pasta was decidedly too thick and barely seasoned (given the type of restaurant, I wasn't expecting such skimpiness and carelessness in the preparation). The octopus and potato appetizer was rubbery, and the potatoes had been boiled at least two days before (inedible). Expectations were high, but they were disappointed. Not to mention that the owner, busy haranguing his friends' other tables, didn't bother listening to our complaints. He even missed the checkout, leaving the waitress to deal with the situation, which, in my opinion, was unacceptable. I won't be returning. PS: On a positive note, fortunately, the couscous wasn't charged.

16/01/2026: Expensive and indigestible, like pizza in Sant'Antioco. You're crazy. Never again. In response to the owner's comment, the prices are outrageous for the quality.

15/01/2026: Spacious, very simple, I'd say basic place. Good pizza with plenty of toppings. Friendly, professional service. Fair prices. Recommended for large groups.

09/07/2025: Locanda est situé dans l’un des plus beaux villages italiens que j’aie jamais vu, l’accueil de la famille est tout simplement phénoménal, prenez le temps de discuter avec le patron, quel bonheur. Et le soir, nous avons mangé dans leur restaurant, c’est le fils qui est le chef. On est proche de la haute gastronomie. 6 étoiles

06/10/2025: I regret not taking a photo of the suckling pig and finishing it early. I found this butcher shop on the recommendation of a local. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism of the owners. The suckling pig and baked potatoes were excellent. I highly recommend them.
