10/08/2025: Ulives is a young and welcoming place, run by passionate young people, where quality pizza is paramount. The dough is well-made and light, and every week the pizza chef creates a new creation, always original and delicious. The place is nestled in a small park, a pleasant and relaxing setting that makes the experience even more enjoyable. You can choose to eat inside or outside, enjoying the beautiful evenings. If you're in the area and looking for good pizza in a charming and refined setting, Olives is definitely the place to go.

For a croissant and a coffee I spent €3.80... maybe a little expensive 🤔 The environment is very nice because it feels like being in a library. There are few parking spaces nearby. You can access the café even if you are in a wheelchair thanks to an entrance ramp

26/10/2025: Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. We ate a delicious mullet carpaccio with bottarga, followed by black rice with octopus flavored with fish broth. Perfect flavors from start to finish. A lime sorbet to finish. A very generous limoncello spritz. 2 glasses of a local white wine full of character. Everything is just right in the flavors and cooking. All for 70 euros per person, which seemed justified to us.

11/09/2025: I'll start by saying that I've been going to Paradise for years and have always considered it a special place, but this year I was truly disappointed by the treatment I received. The brunette at the cash register (I think her name is Sara) was rude and unprofessional; not to mention the owner. This is the second time I've brought friends to this place, and on both occasions, the simple request to split the bill "Roman style" was met with obvious annoyance. Furthermore, without even asking, the amount was rounded up (for example, €23.30 per person became €24). It's not a matter of a few cents—which I'd gladly leave, especially for the girls in the dining room, who are always impeccable—but of fairness and respect for the customer. I also work with the public, so I know how essential patience and politeness are. If you look down on and treat everyone with superiority, maybe you'd be better off changing jobs!

17/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend from Algero. The various seating areas are beautifully designed, partly inside, partly outside. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were seated on a covered terrace in a quiet alleyway instead of in the brick arch, which is even nicer. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant seating! Our waiter, Marco, spoke very good English and was even able to translate most of the ingredients into English upon request, something we haven't experienced very often in Sardinia. Marco was also able to confidently answer questions about the dishes and wines. Both of us, having previously worked in the restaurant industry, were more than impressed by the very attentive and courteous service. Unlike in some restaurants, we were even asked if we wanted to share the starters and main courses, and plates and additional cutlery were served promptly. We had the Agliata de pesce and the veal tartare with peaches for starters. Both were delicious. We drank a bottle of the house white wine, which went wonderfully with the food. For the main course, we had the tagliolini with pecorino, sabei, and truffle, which were wonderfully creamy, and the culurgione with beef ragù. We didn't have dessert. After an espresso, we asked for a myrtle liqueur. We had no idea that it would be added to the bill at the end, as we assumed it was a gift from the chef, but we only had ourselves to blame for not having asked. Ultimately, it tasted very good and wasn't expensive. I would recommend this restaurant anytime! We had a wonderful evening here.

I can't find a single fault with the food; delicious dishes from a constantly changing menu, offering an ever-changing and better experience for guests. Impeccable service, kindness, hospitality, and perfect knowledge of the ingredients and wines. In short, if I could, I'd give it even more than 5 stars... Compliments to Chef Antonia and the staff, everything is TOP!
