Buns Homemade Burger In Alghero

Now a must-see as soon as you set foot in Alghero, the owner is very kind and the staff are highly trained, and the food is top-notch!

The Mondadori bookseller recommended this place to us, and we were pleasantly surprised by the high-quality sandwiches and the warm welcome. We'll definitely be back.

This was a funny one. We went because gourmet burgers are our thing, and this promised it - really interesting burgers with novel flavours and local ingredients, craft beer and local wines, style. And it sort-of delivered. Definitely the ingredients were local and quality, and the vibe was cool and the service was great and the prices were good. But the burgers just didn't quite work - the flavours weren't balanced, the meat wasn't seasoned, and there was basically no sauce to tie it all together. So less than the sum of its parts. Similarly there was cool decor - but there was punk, and there was socialist, and there was artisanal - just a collection with no rationale or common theme. Don't get me wrong - we had a good time and the burgers were fine - but it wasn't the experience we'd hoped for.

Lunch while out and about as tourists, we happened upon the downtown area almost by chance and ate very well. Plus, there were two vegetarians in the group who had no problem choosing. Recommended!

Super nice guys and great service. They use local ingredients and give their burgers an Italian touch. The beef is flavorful and fresh. Highly recommended.

The burgers and onion rings were good. They asked how well the meat was cooked, and we were surprised that when we ordered "medium-rare," it actually came medium-rare (they usually make it more than that just to make matters worse). The Sa IPA was very good.
