03/10/2025: Friendly, personable, attentive, and hospitable staff. We had the spaghetti al cartoccio, it was a taste experience! Highly recommended! Would come back anytime.

02/10/2025: The service was very nice, really fast, very attentive, yet not at all stressed and polite! The mussels were really delicious in a spicy tomato sauce with toasted bread. The pasta and meat were also great! Good red house wine!

06/10/2025: I don't understand the positive reviews about these pizzas, even though that's precisely what we went to this pizzeria for. The pizzas were dry and the cheese was tough, which was a real shame. The girl who helped us was very friendly, though!

06/10/2025: We were there late in the evening (around 11:00 PM) and ordered three takeout pieces. We paid, and while we waited for the receipt, we sat down for a moment at the tables outside, just long enough to put our change in our bags. Suddenly, a young woman (I don't know if she was an employee or the owner) arrived and asked us to get up immediately because we had ordered takeout pizzas and were therefore not allowed to occupy the tables. Keep in mind that we were the only ones there and the other two tables were empty, so we weren't doing anyone any harm, but more importantly, we were stuck waiting for the receipt! We left immediately, leaving the place without even taking the receipt, which hadn't been given to us yet. We will never return. A below-average pizza and incredibly rude. AVOID!

23/03/2025: Sono stata qui a cena con un'amica poco più di un mese fa. Venire qui significa fare un'esperienza culinaria davvero entusiasmante, con materie prime di altissima qualità e abbinamenti ricercati e davvero riusciti. Noi abbiamo preso il percorso da quattro portate con un calice di vino ad accompagnare. Il tutto, dal pane portato col loro olio speciale, al vino, a ogni singola pietanza ci è stato sapientemente e gentilmente spiegato dal cameriere che ci ha accompagnate con un presenza assidua ma non stressante per tutta la serata. Gesto molto carino quando la mia amica si è alzata per andare alla toilette e il cameriere è venuto a prendere il suo piatto per tenerlo al caldo finché non fosse tornata. Il conto naturalmente non è stato basso, ma assolutamente adeguato all'esperienza vissuta e alla qualità alta delle materie prime. Spettacolare il risotto con la bagna cauda.

05/10/2025: A magnificent, unique hotel in this location. We stayed here for five nights at the end of our Sardinia trip to relax a bit, and we were not disappointed. The location was great, the breakfast was fantastic, and the view was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly (they take great care of that). You feel very comfortable as a guest. The pool area was beautiful, there was always something available, and the outdoor spa area was also fantastic. There's a private beach area, and sunbeds in the second row and above are free. We rarely stay at the same hotel, but we would reconsider here. Private parking is available. Small gym with multifunctional equipment, cardio machines, and a few free weights. Drinks are, as others have already mentioned, unfortunately far too expensive. A long drink for €15 is simply not appropriate. Arbatax isn't a big town, but there are a few restaurants nearby, some within walking distance.

14/10/2025: I booked the room through Check24, and it actually looked like the picture in the ad. When I arrived on the evening of November 11th, there were two people at the reception who were truly touching: my daughter had just bruised her knees, so he acted as first aid while she took care of our check-in. I still had to move my car, and he showed me the way to the parking lot outside. I also wanted to rent a wetsuit for water sports the next day, and they did some research for me. The hotel turned out to be a real four-star hotel, at least, when the two were even kind enough to laugh at my jokes! I immediately felt very comfortable. Thank you very much, and I'd love to come back. Oh, and the WiFi is so fast that I was able to download the internet and sync my Lightroom cloud for the rest of the vacation as a precaution.

14/09/2025: The room was a run-of-the-mill, befitting a 2-star hotel: cramped and cramped, not to mention the bathroom! It was probably 10 square meters, shared by three people, for the modest price of €60 per person per night. Terrible value for money. The restaurant appears to be renowned and recommended by the Michelin guide, according to them. Unfortunately, the staff is inattentive to guests' needs and seems annoyed by every request. The quality of the food, compared to the price I paid—2 platters, 2 first courses, and 1 bottle of wine for €130—is far below average. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!

14/10/2025: MeC Puddu’s had a distinct lack of ambience, but they more than make up for it with an extensive and delicious menu! Highly recommend starting with the casu caentau al miele (carasau bread “cracker” with melted cheese and honey). Their goat stew and pasta with “goat sauce” (think bolognese but with goat) were out of this world!! Skip the house wine and go for an excellent cab franc or other vintage. Also had an excellent beer selection including a delightful Rosse Rocce amber ale. Highly recommend!! Only loses a star for the bright lighting and lack of any sort of romantic or old world ambience. Might have felt differently if we’d been seat next to the old well that’s capped in glass so you can see all the way to the bottom. That was cool!!!

01/10/2025: I was there today and I was thrilled! And I'd like to put some of the reviews into perspective. The restaurant is obviously run by an older couple, and the food is absolutely authentic and honest. Anyone who complains that they aren't served in English or that they're simply handed something because they can't express their wishes in Italian – what do you expect? If you go to a village inn in Bavaria, Swabia, or Austria to get the most authentic cuisine possible, you'll have a hard time getting it in English, too. So either go to a tourist restaurant, learn Italian, or take a guide. It's definitely not the restaurant's fault!!! The quality was definitely excellent in my case, and the owners made every effort to correctly interpret my broken Italian. There's no official menu. If you're really interested, you can find a rough estimate in the other comments. This will probably fluctuate slightly depending on the menu, and I won't throw around any more numbers here. I was there on a (very) quiet day. That's why I'm not even expecting specialties like roasted suckling pig, lamb, or goat. That would be presumptuous. But I can say this much: They conjured up a fantastic menu, more or less just for me, and the price was more than fair! Even as a clearly foreigner, I wasn't ripped off in any way. Anyone who still discusses the prices is rightly casting a bad light on their origins! I saw a comment complaining about the few slices of ham/sausage in the antipasti. I wasn't there, but at least in my case, it was enriched with three more vegetable and cheese-based antipasti. There was so much that it was impossible to finish it all! No one will leave hungry! For my part, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful evening and would come back anytime! Please continue to run the place like this for a long time to give other guests an unforgettable evening!

26/09/2025: The two gentlemen who welcome you, the husband in the dining room and the lady in the kitchen, will begin serving you olives and bread, water, and wine, as soon as you sit down! After a few minutes... cold cuts, sausage and potatoes, snails, vegetables... basically... they decide the menu and "overwhelm" you... the artichokes in oil were truly special! Then comes the first course! Our day featured gnocchi alla campidanese. Just when you think you're full... the Sardinian suckling pig arrives, cooked... superbly... (this is not a place for vegetarians). The unmissable seadas covered in honey to finish. In short... a wonderful journey for the stomach, pampered with old-fashioned warmth and kindness... with mamma in the kitchen cooking on holidays!

04/10/2025: I went to Ittiturismo to meet up with some former colleagues. The atmosphere is quaint and the service excellent. The food is fresh, seafood-based, with various appetizers, a first course, fried calamari, and roast fish. To finish, classic coffee, Sardinian desserts, and liqueurs. Everything was good... the only flaw was the portions were too small.

21/08/2025: Excellent experience both for the quality and quantity of the meals and for the service. We would like to thank in particular the waitress Mrs Franca for her professionalism, friendliness and availability. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

15/09/2025: I went here because I really wanted a good sandwich. They were about to close, but despite the late hour and my tiredness from the day, the staff were incredibly kind and made me a sandwich I'll never forget. I chose a mortadella sandwich: the bread was clearly excellent quality, it seemed homemade, fragrant, and crispy. The mortadella was top-notch, with an authentic flavor. Beyond the quality of the food, I want to highlight the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, whose smiles and courtesy made this experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find such attentive and human service. I highly recommend this place: not only for the delicious food, but also for the friendliness of the staff.

19/08/2025: 😍 Everything is fresh and delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and very polite! Perfect place to get sandwiches to eat by the sea or on the go (the fillings are made fresh). Highly recommended!!!!

02/10/2025: Unfortunately, no star is not an option. We wanted to have a leisurely dinner at this restaurant on October 2, 2025 (7:30 p.m.), but it was a complete disaster. Not only was the language barrier a problem, but we could only have gotten dishes that weren't really to our taste. For example, the menu was full of delicious dishes, but they seemed to lack interest. This is a bit surprising, because I actually thought every customer counted. So we left the restaurant.

28/09/2025: A little insider tip. Very large rooms with air conditioning and their own boiler, so there's never cold water. Beds are very comfortable. The usual breakfast is served with the option of adding ham and cheese. Note: Call ahead. The espresso is fantastic—be sure to try it. The place is an ideal starting point for visits like the Mannau Grotto (a 5-minute walk), hikes, and an evening swim in the sea. Dinner is a must. A wide selection of specialties (always for two people) and an exciting and well-chosen selection of wines. Beautiful garden and pleasant ambiance.

13/09/2025: We went for lunch. There were four of us. The beautiful farmhouse setting, with lots of greenery all around, was very well-kept, and the owner and the waitresses were attentive and kind. The food, in our opinion, was mediocre and poorly prepared. The appetizers were good, but the first courses (fregula with clams, malloreddus alla capidonese) weren't to our liking. The sauces didn't blend well with the pasta. They seemed haphazardly made. Anyway, it's a convenient place to go after visiting the Su Mannau cave.
