05/10/2025: One of the best pizzerias in Sassari. The dough is truly sublime and easy to digest. The service is friendly and fast. It's a shame they have a lot of takeout pizzas, so we waited an hour for our pizza from the time we ordered. Overall, I highly recommend it. In fact, it's not to be missed!

23/09/2025: A lovely spot for an afternoon spritz. We had an Orange Spritz, a Pink Spritz, and a Tagliere Piccolo. Everything was delicious and great value for money!

21/09/2025: We arrived at 2:30 pm hungry and sat at the only free table (dirty and covered in crumbs). After a 20-minute wait, while other customers ordered without issue, the waitress arrogantly told us that "we hadn't asked to sit down" and that it was too late: we would have to wait 40 minutes for the next service. When I remarked that I had greeted her as soon as we arrived, she pretended not to remember. Rude and inconsistent service. We left disappointed and with empty stomachs. We arrived at 2:30 pm, hungry, and sat at the only free table (dirty and covered in crumbs). After 20 minutes of waiting, while other customers ordered without issue, the waitress arrogantly told us we "hadn't asked to sit down" and that it was too late—we'd have to wait 40 more minutes for the next service. When I reminded her I had greeted her upon arrival, she pretended not to remember. Rude, inconsistent service. We left disappointed and still hungry.

14/10/2025: The place was nice, but the position of some of the tables was a flaw. The way they arranged me made me feel like I was being punished.

11/09/2025: This restaurant in Porto Rotondo is in a prime location (it was hard to find at night) and very quiet. It offers a well-presented menu and a decent wine list. The service is top-notch. Despite the fact that September isn't very busy in the area, neither the service nor the quality has suffered. I can't comment on the price because you're in Porto Rotondo. You wouldn't want to eat like at B.K. Highly recommended for many reasons, but what we liked most was the attention of the waiters and the owner himself. Thanks for the myrtle!!!!

08/09/2025: The location is simply unique on the Costa Smeralda, a fantastic, elegant little square with a breathtaking view. Prices are average for Porto Rotondo. Excellent food with a simple, typical local menu. Oscar-winning fregola. My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff. Absolutely not to be missed. You'll experience a special evening. Well done, and sincere congratulations.

25/09/2025: We arrived without a reservation and luckily found a place for dinner. Everything was fantastic, the fregula deserved an A+. The seadas were delicious, and that's coming from someone who doesn't eat honey...

02/10/2025: I had the traditional Sardinian fregula and seafood pasta. It featured ingredients symbolic of the region's sea, such as squid, tuna, and mussels, and the seafood pasta was undeniably delicious. The other dish was clam pasta, which was simple yet flavorful and very satisfying. For wine, we had a white Vermentino and a red Cannonau by the glass. Both paired well with the food, with the white wine being particularly refreshing. For dessert, we had panna cotta, which was not too sweet and served perfectly after the meal. The restaurant had a stylish atmosphere, with displays of fine wines and fresh fish. It's deep and has ample seating, with two floors and an additional floor, so it seems like it could accommodate even busy days. It's currently the off-season, so it was quiet and we enjoyed a relaxing time. Some people ordered pizza to go, while others enjoyed a drink at the bar, suggesting a restaurant with a wide variety of uses. There are many dishes I didn't try this time but would definitely like to try next time: Grigliata mista di Pesce (Grilled Seafood Platter) Gamberi e Scampi locali (Grilled Shrimp and Langoustine), a Sardinian tradition Luxurious Lobster Linguine and Astiche alla Catalana (Lobster Catalana) Black Angus Horse Steak and Tagliata (Bistecca di Cavallo / Tagliata di Black Angus) Traditional Northern Italian Milanese Veal Cutlet (Costoletta di Vitello alla Milanese) Currugiones (Pasta with Potatoes and Mint), a Sardinian specialty Cheese and meat dishes, such as raviolone and lamb ragu pasta More than 40 varieties of pizza are available, especially the seafood pizza (Frutti di Mare) I'm curious about the special pizza named after the restaurant. This restaurant offers both seafood and meat, and each dish is so appealing it makes you want to order another one. This is a recommended place for anyone looking to enjoy a hearty meal in Sardinia.

25/09/2025: Dinner for seven high school friends. They booked this restaurant and ordered pizza, which cost double and wasn't as good as the best pizzerias in Oristano. Having had spaghetti for lunch, I asked for an octopus salad and for my second course, grilled octopus. The octopus salad was difficult to modify; they only had the potato version. But what would it take for a chef, or even an assistant, to remove the potatoes and add a few pieces of celery and a little vinegar? The place was half empty; they had plenty of time! To avoid any problems, I ate the octopus and potatoes. Meanwhile, my friends finished their pizza, and my second course, ordered with the appetizer, was nowhere to be seen. An hour had passed; the others wanted to order a dessert or a bitter, but they were waiting for my second course. After four reminders, these two tentacles arrived on a bed of curly lettuce and a sweet and sour sauce! Ruined octopus; if I wanted Chinese food, I'd have gone there!!! To get a knife suitable for cutting the octopus, I had to make another request! But where did they get the waiters? Moral of the story: we preferred to finish the evening in one of the excellent bars in Piazza Roma. PS: I worked as a dishwasher in the days of Gesuino and Guido. We had a wood-fired stove and a barbecue in the garden, without all the luxuries of today. Well, the food was 100 times better. That evening, the only survivors were the boy who cleared the table and definitely the dishwasher.

16/10/2025: Unfortunately, the steak, ordered medium-well, only saw the grill briefly from a distance. At least the side dishes were delivered upon request.

14/10/2025: Stopped in for lunch by chance with my girlfriend, and it couldn't have been a better choice. We ordered two plates of Sardinian kebab with potatoes. It was truly delicious; it was the first time I'd ever eaten it, so it's probably a dish they invented. The homemade sauces were also excellent. The waiters were very kind, and the atmosphere, including the music, was truly relaxing.

07/08/2025: L'Airone in Alfonsine is a true historic landmark for the town. I've been there countless times over the years, and each time it proves to be an exceptional place to return to. The quality of the products is top-notch: the pizza is amazing, one-of-a-kind, with top-quality dough and ingredients. The traditional cuisine never disappoints either: cappelletti with ragù, true to Romagna tradition, and legendary tagliatelle, bursting with flavor and made with love. The restaurant is intimate and welcoming, with the option of dining both inside and outside under the portico, in a pleasant and family-friendly atmosphere. They do a lot of takeout, but the owners and staff are extremely kind and always available: even without a reservation, they'll do their best to find you a table so you can enjoy their specialties. The location is perfect, right in Alfonsine's main square. There's also ample parking nearby, although I chose to walk there, enjoying a leisurely stroll. A place I wholeheartedly recommend, both to those who live in the area and those passing through: here you can experience hospitality, quality, and true Romagna!
