20/11/2025: Returning to Ogliastra from Capoferrato, we decided to stop at Berny's for dinner. The unique welcome and authentic food are the order of the day. The homemade cheese platter was fantastic, featuring some truly Sardinian delicacies. The exquisite first courses and the seadas (a type of pasta) made the evening a perfect end. The pizzas we saw being served at other tables also looked truly delicious. Another compliment goes to the owners and staff, all extremely kind and eager to explain the dishes and share interesting anecdotes about Sardinia and its traditions. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy the best of this fantastic region, then stop by Berny's. Greetings from Friuli ☺️

27/08/2025: I've been here before with my family, and today, on my way back from the beach, I decided to have a pizza here with my girlfriend. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mrs. Ivana as if we were family. The service was quick, the pizza was slightly crispy but good, and above all, very large. Good, I recommend it.

07/11/2025: A family-friendly place that makes you feel at home. The food is prepared with care and the ingredients are top-quality. The mixed fried fish is remarkable, rich and well-prepared! As they say in these cases, kudos to the chef! The restaurant staff is honest and capable, worthy of its name, just like the infamous condottiero Amsicora. Highly recommended!

29/10/2025: This seafood restaurant is highly recommended online and by acquaintances, but it's a bit overrated. The appetizers were plentiful, but, aside from the octopus, they were mediocre. The tomato flavor of the fregola pasta overpowered the seafood. The service was quick, but the interior was very crowded and noisy.

25/10/2025: We had lunch here and I can't understand the rave reviews, but everyone has their own tastes. They begged us for appetizers: we were served a sardine (half each) and a first course that left us wanting. Terrible value for money. As they say: we've put a stop to it! NEVER AGAIN.

08/11/2025: Okey pizza and pasta in the town of Alghero. The veggie pizza and the shrimp pasta was the best. Standard pricing and a little slow service. Other than that probably alot better than the other pizza places in the square. We got a walk in table, but it is probably best to book one before.

14/11/2025: A lovely, modern restaurant, yet not "touristy," located in a charming little square in beautiful Bosa and frequented by locals. The menu features traditional meat and fish dishes (the latter being my choice), sometimes revisited. The selection is limited but very well executed, and the prices are generally in line with the area. The service is young and generally punctual and courteous, though not the fastest. Recommended if you're visiting this beautiful city in the Oristano area.

06/10/2025: Excellent Sardinian dinner, as every year at the Caprera restaurant, perhaps the most elegant and delicious on the entire island of La Maddalena. The staff's professionalism, courtesy, and speed were excellent. Mr. Roberto is and remains a constant source of praise for his courteous style...and he recommends excellent dishes and wines.

12/10/2025: Excellent cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, combined with great courtesy and attention. We enjoyed delicious dishes, freshly prepared with fresh ingredients, including expertly prepared seafood fregola and delicious clam soup. We also couldn't help but mention the truly delicious homemade seadas. Valentina conveyed her love for cooking to us! Excellent value.

01/10/2025: A terrible experience along the SS 131. We stopped for lunch, and decided (seeing the unappealing sandwiches) to use the restaurant... I can only say that the name couldn't have been more appropriate. Sit down and trust in the Savior to help you through this ordeal. Highly not recommended.

29/09/2025: We stopped here while passing through. Unfortunately, quite a few dishes on the menu were unavailable, which was surprising for a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a cutlet and fries (separate extra dish!) and received exactly that – simple and without garnish or sauce. It was the least enjoyable meal of our one week in Sardinia, though the service itself was very friendly. One small downside, which we also noticed elsewhere on the island: the toilet door couldn’t be locked and there was no toilet seat.

25/10/2025: The pizza slices are very good!! They also have sandwiches, but I haven't had a chance to try them, but I did see that they were plentiful!

28/10/2025: Didn´t use the rooms, only went there to eat. Very good food, the linguine di gragnano was amazing and full of taste. It was so good I was a little emotional, although the wine might have helped with that 😅 We went there twice and both times the pasta was al dente. 20/10/2025: We followed the recommendations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was served in a dog bowl. I had the suckling pig, which had more fat than anything else and was reheated, meaning it wasn't freshly prepared! My partner's fish platter wasn't great either. There are plenty of other places where the food is amazing. This was actually the worst thing we ate on the island in 7 days, and it cost €97.00. The price/performance ratio is absolutely unjustified! Unfortunately, we won't be back!

13/12/2025: I gave it a 5-star review a while ago, and it still stood until the second-to-last time I came (maybe a month ago), as I was a regular customer. Yesterday I came for my birthday, and I had my favorite dessert (cinnamon rolls) and carrot and cinnamon cake, along with two other friends. I'd never done that before! The cake had a hair in the cream (not on top, which could have fallen off, but right inside the frosting), and the cinnamon rolls looked like they were a week old, super dry and sour. We asked for a glass of water and it was brought to us dirty. Today we felt terrible, with severe cramps and diarrhea. We're sure this was the case because other friends who went out with us and didn't eat here didn't feel sick. I also suspect that management has changed, both because of the poor hygiene and because they all seemed new, some Spanish and some Italian, and I've never had anything like this happen to me.

12/12/2025: I would have liked to delve deeper into the cuisine at this place, but the unprofessional behavior of the bald waiter made us feel annoyed and uncomfortable: he started with subtly sexist comments and a manner that was, to say the least, annoying. If you don't know how to behave in a civilized manner, it's best not to work with the public. Smile too now 😊

28/09/2025: Super friendly and attentive service. Since we were coming back from a quick shopping trip and spontaneously stopped by this restaurant, we even got a shopping bag. Delicious pasta with seafood, good house wine with water, and a dessert.
