07/10/2025: I tried various tartares and mutton kebabs, all very good. This butcher shop in Arbatax offers a variety of main courses, from sandwiches to tartares to cooked meats. It has a few tables under the porch and most of the tables in an outdoor area. Being on the street and the tables are quite close together, it can get a bit crowded (which is typical in places of this type).

The wild boar in red, for example, is reminiscent of veal in its tenderness but is, unmistakably, one of the best wild boar dishes on the market.

14/12/2025: We went for lunch on a Sunday to celebrate our anniversary and were completely satisfied! The welcome was excellent and the menu was distinctive, featuring fresh, local produce...and they even accommodated an off-menu request! Everything was superb! Congratulations!

19/04/2026: We really enjoyed our visit to Pica Roma Trattoria. Both the food and the staff were wonderful, everyone was very kind and welcoming. The pizza was large, delicious, and full of flavor, and we also tried a local wine that turned out to be fantastic. It was a great experience and we highly recommend this place!

From the outside it looks like a typical village bar and restaurant, but once you step onto the terrace with its sea views and feel that lovely breeze, everything changes. Marinated artichokes and mushrooms to start, followed by a Gorgonzola pizza and mussels marinara, plus two large beers for just 40 euros—it's like eating at home. Maxi's service is incredible, and they even have vegetarian options. You couldn't ask for more. We would definitely return! Cheers! 💚🤍❤️

Rooms with sea views are highly recommended, and the service and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended! Travel time: late March/early April. Partly sunny, so light clothing is possible, but also sometimes very windy and rainy.

08/02/2026: It was perfect stay in hotel La Bitta - starting from the all amazing girls on the reception, perfect cleanliness of the overall hotel area, beautiful pool with the best view and fantastic personnels in the bar and hotel restaurant too. Beautiful location just by the sea. If you love calm place,where you will have dream vacation,this is definitely great choice. And its so nice that the hotel is Adult only. We went in the end of September. It was a perfect stay in hotel La Bitta - from the amazing girls at the reception, through the perfect cleanliness of the whole area, to the beautiful pool with the best view and fantastic personnel in the bar and hotel restaurant. > Beautiful location right by the sea. If you love calm places, where you will have dream vacation,this is definitely a great choice. Moreover, it is very nice that it is an Adults Only hotel.

21/12/2025: Ristorante Sas Benas is a sure thing. Authentic Sardinian cuisine, excellent ingredients, and dishes crafted with attention to every detail. The tasting menu is top-notch, the atmosphere elegant and welcoming, and the service professional but never cold. The quality/price ratio is absolutely right for the experience it offers. One of those places you'll want to return to and recommend without hesitation.

05/11/2025: Without a doubt one of Calasetta's most beautiful beaches. Its name refers to the salt flats behind it, which lend it beautiful colors, from pink to orange, and are perfect for relaxing walks. The beach has two entrances on opposite sides, both with parking. A sandy beach that invites you to dive into the stunning water. In the summer, one section is equipped with lounge chairs and umbrellas, while the other is free. It's just as stunning in the fall, often even more so.

04/12/2025: What can I say about the Basilica of Saint Helena that hasn't already been said? I simply invite you to visit it during the Christmas season, in the evening, and enjoy its baroque beauty, the lights, and the simultaneously sacred and festive atmosphere. "Paris is well worth a Mass," someone said, but our Basilica is no exception ;)

20/02/2026: Unclear opening hours and sometimes late. Cold bread. Nice atmosphere but overlapping reservations and sometimes crowded. Not recommended.

11/02/2026: €102 bill for four dishes and eight glasses of wine. Judge for yourself whether it was fair to charge us by the glass even though we had drunk the bottle. There was little transparency and honesty. The food was acceptable in terms of portions and flavor. The service was pushy throughout the evening. Three different people served us at our table; one of them, who also gave us the bill, I found rude and incapable of conveying a love for what she does.

26/10/2025: Every now and then I indulge in this wonderful experience. A restaurant where it's truly difficult to find fault. The food is excellent; mussel lovers will be spoiled for choice with 18 different recipes. The appetizers are delicious, and the first courses are an explosion of flavor and refinement. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, with attention to detail, clean, and elegant. Truly a restaurant worth visiting, one that will remain in your heart.
