26/08/2025: The place is beautiful! The location is very unique, charming, and romantic! The food is good quality, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the price is perfectly average. I was impressed by the deliciousness of the pizzas, very light and didn't cause me any problems. I don't eat pizza because the way they make it makes me sick, but this pizza is absolutely delicious! Special! You can't complain! In fact, it's one of the best places to eat in Laterza (TA). We went there two nights in a row, not by chance! I was very satisfied, and the dinner made me go to sleep peacefully and delighted! And I tried my wife's gnocchi with mushrooms. Oh my, how delicious!

23/10/2025: Truly local experience of an Italian trattoria run by a family. Simple dishes with high quality ingredients, reasonable prices, friendly service. Great pizza - the crust was just perfect, a bit on the crunchy side. Takeaway option available. They're open also off season, and usually busy with the locals. A top pick in Marina di Ginosa, if you're looking for an authentic culinary experience.

09/03/2026: DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! I'll start by saying that this isn't my first time eating here, but I've always had a pretty good experience so far, but yesterday was my last. I called a couple of weeks ago to ask if they were organizing a DJ night for March 8th and they told me it would be an a la carte menu, so I made a reservation. As soon as we arrived, it was clear that there was no music or DJ; in fact, the TV channel was even playing a football match. I pointed this out to one of the waiters, who told me they never organize DJ nights and couldn't understand how they could have given me this false information. We decided to ignore this poor organization and enjoy each other's company. When it was time to order, and since I have allergies to certain foods, I asked one of the waiters what ingredients were in the dish I'd chosen, and he gave me a cursory explanation that was completely different from what the dish actually was. In fact, when the dish arrived, I pointed out his mistake and, having already waited too long, asked if he could make me a pizza with the ingredients I could eat. Shortly afterward, the waiter returned and confirmed that he'd misdescribed the dish and told me that they'd run out of the essential pizza ingredient. Desperate, I decided to make myself a dish that, frankly, I could have easily eaten at home. To top it off, towards the end of our meal, the waiter, who had to write him a registered letter to get his attention sooner, kept asking us if he could take our dishes away or if we wanted anything else, almost as if he wanted to literally throw us out of the restaurant because it was clear he wanted to go home. I'd say that after this awful, terrible experience, we'll never set foot in there again.

03/12/2025: Avoid, there's nothing redeeming about it, completely unsatisfactory... Starting with the ridiculously high prices for this type of place (pizzas €12+, wines €24+, first courses €12+ for garlic, oil, and chili pepper!). The pizzas are truly "pizza-like," misshapen, overly salty, ugly and pale in appearance, and most importantly, burned from underneath, so there's no point in even commenting on the flavor. Beef steak was on the menu, but then a half-centimeter thick grilled slice arrives, already overcooked, already super salty, and without any sides. The service is very spartan, incapable of serving English tourists, with little attention to the tables, and at the end of the meal, they take your money without a greeting or a thank you. The only redeeming features are the warm and welcoming dining room and the selection of wines and beers, but otherwise, in my opinion, everything is terrible.

09/12/2025: We visited the Cchiù mange e Cchiù iess Pacce trattoria in Taranto Vecchia and were truly satisfied. The atmosphere is traditional, welcoming, and familiar, with the warmth that only old-fashioned eateries can provide. The dishes are generous and authentic, prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional Taranto recipes. Each dish was a delightful discovery, especially the seafood main courses and daily specials. The staff are extremely kind, smiling, and attentive: they make you feel right at home. The prices are fair, in fact, more than fair considering the quality and quantity. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy authentic Taranto cuisine in a simple and authentic setting. We'll definitely be back!

10/09/2025: A wonderful place, and the staff made the evening unforgettable! We were a group of over 15 people; the view, the drinks, and the attention did the rest :) All the girls have wonderful memories of Taranto, thanks in part to the Palio. Thanks again!

31/08/2025: We went for an after-dinner drink in one of Taranto's best locations. The view, next to the Aragonese Castle, is truly breathtaking. The staff welcomed us professionally and escorted us to our table. We ordered two amari and enjoyed the moonlight reflected on the sea.

18/01/2026: Disgusting. Can you say that? A fresh review. I'm already two hours away by car, at the table, and I can't go back to let him taste the crap they sold me this morning. Leaving aside the fact that I asked for Monte Bianco and they gave me plain cream puffs, the cream inside is frozen!!! Sour!!! A whole tray thrown in the garbage! I say, we pay you a fortune for them, and you give us this rubbish??? Aren't you ashamed??? You deserve to fail!! Ah, and the icing on the cake? The cassatina, which has a cocoa biscuit base and not sponge cake. Shocked! Never again!!!!

24/08/2025: Good evening, this evening I bought 4 pizzas through Just Eat. Terrible experience. The 4-cheese pizza on the menu was listed as having tomato pulp, but it actually arrived white. The other pizzas had tasteless ingredients, the chips on the pizza were rubbery and raw, and to top it all off, the pizza dough was indescribable. I won't be reordering.

26/01/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant located in the historic center of Martina Franca, in the town's central and oldest square. This restaurant/pizzeria, with both indoor and outdoor dining, specializes in traditional Martina Franca meat cuisine. Bombette, chicken livers, gnummarielli, and exquisite veal steaks are of the highest quality. The animals, slaughtered in-house to create these fantastic steaks, are Limousin breed, as the owner specified. Therefore, the aging times are rigorous and perfect. The ovens used to cook the meat in Martina Franca are unique: the meat is skewered on long skewers, which are positioned near the embers at an angle. This allows the rendered fat to slide off the skewers without dripping, making the meat very flavorful and avoiding the excess smoke that normally occurs when the fat drips onto the embers below, horizontally, as is usual in traditional ovens. It goes without saying that this is my favorite restaurant, not only because I've known the owner personally for over 30 years, but also because the food is delicious! The pizza, the baked potatoes cooked in ash, the typical cured meats and cheeses, and the traditional Martina Franca bread (usually firm and slightly airy) make this restaurant excellent. Try it and believe it. The prices are below average. Thank you for everything and for your innate kindness!

11/10/2025: Can I understand why they set opening hours? I arrived at 7:30 PM and was told to come back at 8 PM because the place was still closed. I returned at 8 PM and, besides the fact that there were already people sitting and eating, I asked if I could eat, and the annoyed waiter told me that without a reservation it would be difficult to find a table. I don't understand.
