16/05/2025: I was disappointed with the food. My partner and I ordered the same pasta dish as our main course. The pasta tasted like something out of a package and the sauce was watery and tasteless. We also had the meatballs which were dry and tasteless. I think we would have been better ordering the pizza. The wine was nice.

01/05/2025: Arriving at 8.10pm they tell us that they are making the panzerotti at the moment they don't have any ready... perfect there were two tables of four... with us but a group of 8 people came in behind.... and others who joined later in addition to the takeaway.... at 8.30pm we ask and they tell us that they are "in progress" :( at 9.00pm we are still waiting for two panzerotti to eat immediately and two to take away.... all while they have been all the other tables that arrived later were served.....you tell me how much you give to the service!... I don't rate the food since we don't know what these panzerotti were like... we left!!!

05/04/2025: We tried 4 different cafes in our time in town and this one was by far the favourite. It feels like walking into your grandma’s kitchen with so many little treats. We had a coffee/pastry for breakfast, lasagna for lunch and assortment of delicious local dishes for dinner. Everything was excellent and well priced. It is very small inside and not fancy, but clean. Don’t go here if you are looking for your next instagram photo or fast service. Go here if you appreciate great local food and are willing to take the time to enjoy it in a quaint cafe.

10/03/2025: Macelleria storica che personalmente conosco da 40 anni....quindi direi che se l'attività ancora esiste la qualità non può certo essere scadente e tanto meno l'accoglienza e la professionalità...altrimenti avrebbe già chiuso!!! Detto ciò ...parto spesso da Milano per venire a mangiare in questa macelleria, dove veniva mio padre da piccolo, essendo nativo di Laterza. Sono sincera, ne ho provate altre a Laterza...tanto decantate dai miei parenti che ad oggi vivono a Laterza...ma nessuno batte Tamborrino!!!!! Non posso che confermare qualità, prezzo e cortesia. Super!!!

29/12/2024: There are a lot of ants on the property, in the room and even in the bed! On the way back home we still find these on our bodies, in the bags and suitcases... Concerns the beds in the room; the sheets have not been changed once, only neatly made. We could see this because there was already a stain on the sheets when we arrived at the masseria. The beds are old, hard and you can feel the springs pricking. We are used to really hard beds and prefer this, but if you lie on your side and you feel the iron poking you, that is certainly not okay (To be clear, we are 60 and 75 kg). After we indicated this, a kind of molton was imposed, what they call a 'topper'. This obviously does not make a more positive contribution. After two sleepless nights we both woke up with back and neck problems. After a few conversations it is indicated that they will not arrange new mattresses. They advise us to contact the tour company for another stay, and that it will be better if we stay elsewhere. After we have indicated this, there is a noticeable difference in the approach from the employees. Some employees seem to prefer to be somewhere else than here anyway. It just barely manages to bring a smile. The beds at the pool are moderately sized, very hard and when they lie flat you can feel the edge in your skin, which remains visible afterwards. The possibility of lying in the shade is difficult, despite the parasols. There is a very poor WiFi connection. Sometimes it seems as if they have pulled the plug (in the evening) - then there is little or no connection at all, because the range is minimal here. The breakfast is sparse and the same every morning, except for the jam on the cake. The food in the evening in the restaurant is highly recommended! Furthermore, it is a beautiful place, where you can really see the authenticity of the farm. -summer 2023

06/05/2025: Unfortunately I have to agree with the people who encountered rude and listless service. The girl doesn't say hello, speaks or responds in monosyllables only if she can't do otherwise and seems obviously annoyed. I would also like to point out that the cappuccino is served without cocoa, unless requested, also because the cocoa dissolves the foam and the cappuccino is no longer a cappuccino. I should have had it done again, but given the listlessness and lack of politeness with which I was welcomed, I preferred to avoid it, given that fortunately I don't have allergy problems or anything else. When I got to the cash register, I had the same response: the girl didn't say anything until she typed the receipt, of which she only told me the amount, always with an annoyed and hasty look even though there were no other customers. Not even a "goodbye". It's a shame, because the place would also be nice, but something definitely needs to be revised regarding the staff.

09/04/2025: Terrible and rude service. I placed a just eat order worth €37 by calling shortly after and making sure they provided the cutlery since I was away from home. When the order arrived, the cutlery was not present and, after calling them, they replied that no one could bring it to me. In life nothing is free and attention to detail is fundamental... but evidently this place focuses more on quantity than quality. Terrible!

05/04/2025: A good butcher's shop with lots of choice. There is also a small room where you can dine. Service could be improved but still a place worth visiting. Prices more than honest.
