01/06/2025: Pranzo tra amici, pgietanze dal gusto insipido non saporite 20 euro a persona per un secondo di pesce gratinato e 18 euro per un antipasto di pesce misero e non pregiato Inoltre abbiamo chiesto 1 grappa e ne ha portate 2, dicendo che cee l'avrebbe offerta Quando abbiamo chiesto il conto ha fatto storie perché ho pagato con il bancomat Fornendomi uno scontrino solo con la somma totale ,pretendendo lo scontrino con tutte le portate che avevamo preso arrambiandosi dopo 5 minuti di tempo Cmq è caro mai più .

09/07/2025: The meat and fish menu is fine but the pizza is a real piece of junk, raw in the middle and completely burnt on the sides.

21/06/2025: Beautiful structure typical of an English pub with wooden tables and benches inside plus an outdoor area used mainly for smokers but used by everyone especially in the summer. Very kind and attentive staff, fairly fast service. Varied menu full of appetizers, starters, main courses, meat sandwiches ... really tasty!

They stopped us and overwhelmed us with a torrent of words, but in the end the result was disappointing: too much quantity, too little quality.

11/08/2025: I stayed three nights with my partner at the property and would highly recommend it for your stay in Mattinata. The hotel is five minutes from the sea (both the free beach and the campsite's private beach on the same road), surrounded by olive trees. The private beach and stunning sea are just as beautiful as the more famous Mattinatella. The furnishings are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is impeccable, and the room is spacious, with a small balcony where you can enjoy a nice cool breeze despite the August heat. Plus, there's ample free parking and several restaurants nearby. But what really makes the difference, in my opinion, is the staff's courtesy and attention to detail: they provided us with a free guide to the area, allowed us into our room even before check-in, and were always kind and helpful, offering directions and recommendations. We ate pizza at the hotel restaurant twice, and it was truly delicious! And here too, the courtesy of the wait staff stood out: one evening, we had to wait a bit for the pizza (really nothing special, just a few minutes), and to "apologize," they offered us two tomato bruschettas while we waited. Small details that mark quality service! The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, mostly sweet, with a limited selection of savory options.

22/08/2025: Passing through for a rural visit, we entered the restaurant a little hesitant due to the low prices displayed outside. The three of us ordered 2 grilled lamb, good and plentiful, 1 veal chop good and plentiful and 2 mixed salads... we were very satisfied with both the dishes and the price, really fair considering it is a tourist place... if we happen to be in these parts again we will definitely come back to eat here.

18/08/2025: I issued a receipt for two coffees and a dessert. Unfortunately, my wife couldn't have the coffee, so I asked the cashier if I could get a refund. She politely nodded in the affirmative... When I got to the cashier, a gentleman I assumed was the owner told me it wasn't possible, but rather he would give me a bottle of water for the same amount. The discussion became heated because the cashier didn't want to refund the coffee, when a very kind gentleman (whom I thank) offered to give me the coffee and use the portion of the receipt already issued. The "gentleman at the cashier" didn't agree with this solution, reiterating his only "argument" that it couldn't be done... Obviously, it's not about the amount to be paid, but rather how the customer/tourist should be treated. Remember that the customer/tourist must be respected because they aren't just to be fleeced... "NOT THAT WHAT!"

30/07/2025: A lovely café (especially for those who prefer not to delve into the typical local shops) just a few meters from the Grotta di San Michele. Local products, but also excellent coffee, pastries for all tastes, and gelato. A must-try.

The location, the Giardini di Flos in Lucera, is simply enchanting: elegant, welcoming, and perfect for important events. The menu was delicious, with refined and beautifully presented dishes, and the service was always punctual and attentive. Special thanks to Valentina, the owner, who oversaw every detail with passion and professionalism, making all the guests feel at ease. It was an unforgettable event, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Highly recommended!

23/08/2025: A very nice location, overlooking the harbor and offering an exceptional sunset. Until a couple of years ago, the food was very good (as it is now), but the prices were much lower. The staff was friendly, as always. The problem is the wait and the dishes not being served at the same time. Three of us waited 1 hour and 10 minutes so we wouldn't eat at the same time. I hope it's a bad night because we've always liked this place.
